🔥June 1 Rico Report: “Samuel Cosmi is All-Pro”! Titans WR Inspired by Terry! Secret WSH Rookie OT!

all right what’s happy y’ it’s your boy Rico from Street scores and we’re here with a June 1st edition of Ric report of course as all Ric reports we talk about a lot of really random things like we have like 15 different topics we’re going to talk about today some of the most notable ones first of all Samuel cosmi is seen as an all pro by somebody outside of the commander organization I love to hear that we’re going to dive into that also a Titans rookie wide receiver said that he was inspired by Terry McClaren we also have a secret Washington Commander rookie offensive tackle that may be better than what y’all think and then we also have a lot of wild Washington Commander stats like a lot of random ones a lot of funny ones a lot of really bad ones just just to kind of put it into perspective how bad we’ve truly been over like the past 20 30 years but before we dive into all of that make sure you stiff on that like button stiff on the subscription button stiff arm the Bell next man I’m super excited cuz again I have so many things in the works this is one of the videos that I’ve been building on for a while now where I’ll see like a random piece of news let me add it to that window let me add this to that window then eventually when I feel like I have enough random things to talk about that’s when I come out with the r report so that’s what you’re in tune for today but I also have a lot of interesting ideas that I’m working on as well and the rookie class film sessions I’m loading those up as well so without further Ado let’s go ahead and dive into this video man let’s get it Adam [Music] Adam all right so first of all at no Flags film we have James Foster on Twitter he’s a film analyst covering the NFL and the NFL draft at a toz sports no attach to the commanders whatsoever just a film guy just a guy that loves to cover the draft the NFL overall and things like that he tweeted out May 31st so yesterday at 2:58 p.m. Samuel Cosby is my new favorite offensive lineman going to be an allpro in one to two years and as you see on your screen right now it’s just like a small highlight clip of some all 22 footage of Samuel cosm just completely obliterating of other L and I talked about this towards the end of last year and I’ve talked about this several times s in the off season as well but Samuel cosmi in my personal opinion was our best player on our entire team last year Point Blank period especially when we get to the second half when everything started to really settle down and everybody started to find their way Samuel cosmi our Right Guard was the best player I love Terry MCL I love Jonathan Allen I love Don Payne I love a lot of the guys on this team but Samuel cosmi was our best player I feel like he has the best potential to be an allpro out of everybody on this team I mean it would be lovely if Jaden Daniels could become like an All Pro Caliber quarterback because then you’re Super Bowl can sender at that point but as of right now today realistically I would project Samuel Cosby to be our first allpro guy in a while I really am that high on him I really think he’s that great again you’re seeing the footage on your screen right now man he’s a different type of guy he was holding that offensive line down and it did help that towards the second half of the Season Andrew Wy settled in and became a slightly better right tackle than he was the first half of the season first half of the Season Andrew Wy was seemed almost unplayable how often he was giving up sacks and then towards the second half of the Season he actually settled down and turned into at least a decent You could argue maybe like an average right tackle I’m not saying he’s necessarily great or even really good but he turned into he was abysmal at first then he turned into like kind of average which is okay you can you can make up for that I hope that we eventually get a better right tackle to eventually replace him once we have some of these talented guys behind them in a depth chart to develop but at the end of the day man once Andrew Wy finally settled down and Samuel cosmi wasn’t trying to do two jobs at once all he had to focus on was being a Right Guard he literally turned dominant Samuel cosmi was a dominant Force last year he finished last year with an 80.6 overall grade and I feel like that’s actually pretty low for how good he actually is but I think especially with jayen Daniels as the quarterback Cliff Kings be is the offensive coordinator just how much smoother and more efficient this offense is going to be overall I think Samuel Cosby will explode onto the scene with a way higher grade than that than last year going into this season but at the same time though that 80.6 overall grade has him ranked the fourth best guard out of the entire NFL according to Pro Football Focus the only people in front of them Chris lindström of the Falcons Kevin doson of the Rams and Quinn Marines of the Denver Broncos then behind Samuel cosmi you have John Feliciano from San Francisco Robert hunt from Carolina Greg van Roden from the Raiders Graham Glasgow from the Detroit Lions tuny and Trey Smith of the Kansas City Chiefs Tyler Smith from the Cowboys I mean everybody else Wyatt teller Kevin zitler Quint Nelson of the Phil of the Indianapolis Colts Zack Martin Joel bonio Brandon Sheriff will Hernandez Shaq Mason I mean Mark glowinsky a lot of really good notable guards out there Peter scaroni Ben Powers elen J I mean we can go on and on and on cuz again stevea Villa we can go on and on and on because samel cosmi was again ranked fourth out of the entire NFL so I guess they just didn’t really like giving out High grades to guards just in general maybe they need to grade on a curve or something like that because for SE cosmi to have an 80 overall I just assume that was somewhere in the teenss at best but then when you go look at the top rankings for all of the Pro Football Focus grades they gave out to all guards in the NFL that 80.6 is ranked fourth again only behind three of guards out of the entire NFL we’re not just talking about right guards specifically or left guards we’re talking about all guards in the NFL there are two in every starting lineup for every NFL team so that’s 64 starting guards at least Samuel cosmi ranked fourth out of all of those so hey man shouts out to Samuel cosm I’m expecting a great year ahead for him now moving on since we’re talking about some stats here’s a stat right here for you on your screen and this is terrible this is really bad now I’m assuming that the Miami Dolphins do have a strong chance to win a playoff game this upcoming season I wouldn’t Bank on the Raiders winning one anytime soon so maybe we can go ahead and get one before the Raiders do so we can go ahead and get into that bottom right part of the screen right there that category with those teams that would be very lovely also another stat right here here you go the last player with four sacks in a game for each NFL team and you have Ryan carrian all the way back to 2014 but that’s not that bad compared to what a lot of other teams have going on I mean you have the Detroit Lions with Keith Ferguson all the way back to 1986 Chip Banks of the Indianapolis Colts all the way back to 1992 William Fuller 1993 years that I wasn’t even born I wasn’t even alive yet since the last time those teams have had four sacks in the game from one single person that’s actually pretty interesting shouts out to Ryan carrian for actually having us on the positive side of things when it comes to a stat now moving on to another stat here’s a graphic of the single season receptions leader for every single NFL team and if you had to guess right off the top of your head who it would have been I feel like like most people may not have guessed Pierre Garson I remember it pretty vividly because again I I haven’t been alive long enough I wasn’t alive to see art Monk and all of those guys I wasn’t allowed to see us win any Super Bowl so Pierre garon is one of the top receivers I’ve ever watched the commanders have santena MOS I remember lus Cole I Remember a few of those guys back in the day but deshun Watson I mean my for deshun Jackson and Pierre Garson was my favorite Duo that I’ve seen so far since I’ve been alive as a commanders fan as a bery and gold fan so I’m not really surprised when I saw that up there for him I mean you have a lot of ridiculous names that Pierre gon is really in great company with up here with a lot of these guys and this it’s really interesting that Zack s is the guy for the Eagles that’s actually pretty cool there cuz now we have him on our team now granted he may not be the Zack SS that he once was but that’s pretty cool man I will gladly take it and then moving on Pro Football Focus came out with their offseason grades for each team in the NFL and if you’re looking at this graphic right here for the NFC East Pro Football Focus gave the Eagles and the commanders both straight up A’s the Giants have a B+ and then the Cowboys haha have a C+ but we’re right up there us and the Eagles are tied for the same place and if you actually go read the description that Trevor Sama gives he says with new ownership and a new front office and a new coaching staff the commanders have done everything right this off season they made a multitude of new editions including but not limited to Zack Z dorrence Armstrong Dante Fowler Jr Tyler be adish Frankie louu Austin Eckler Cleveland farell Marcus Mariota and Jeremy chin then they had a huge draft class led by quarterback jadden DS at number two overall followed by second round Stills and Johnny Newton and Mike Samra still this was a home run off season for the commanders to turn the page I love to hear that then you also have Thor nrom of fantasy pros he ranked all 32 undrafted free agent class out of the entire NFL and he has the commanders at the sixth best undrafted free agent class he said the commanders followed a smash draft with the number six overall undrafted free agent class their crop included six prospects I’ve ranked in my pre-draft top 300 the commanders won the chiy Anum bidding war with a $350,000 deal in total guarantees per nfl.com Tom peliso half the league woned anium after he went undrafted anium broke up 11 balls over the last two seasons at CSU after transferring from Cal he’s an intriguing size athleticism developmental flyer who probably should have been drafted speaking of size athleticism freaks Tyler Owens is one of the fastest 210 plus pound humans walking the Earth and he was one- in shy of the NFL’s combine’s broad jump record but his technique and instincts need work on the field and the latter in arguably needs more work off of it at the NFL combine Owens told reporters that he doesn’t believe in space or other planets adding I started seeing Flat Earth stuff and I was like that’s kind of interesting I promise I am not making those quotes up coming from Thor Lindstrom yeah I mean just to remind you Tyler Owens does not believe in space But like I keep saying man the only space he needs to not believe in is the space between him and receivers and tight end and whoever he’s um supposed to cover out there but yeah Tyler Owens is an absolute freak athlete he was my favorite and draft the free agency Sonic even as a Georgia Bulldog fan of course Marcus or Simi Jack Saint was my second favorite off of pure bias but ignoring bias being completely objective Tyler Owens has the highest sing of any undra the fre agent in the entire NFL you can argue he has one of the highest sings of any player in the entire NFL there’s no other athlete as athletic as him really arguably he had a perfect 10 relative Athletic score so if we could figure out the mental stuff this is an elite All Pro Caliber guy but as of right now he’s unplayable you can’t even put him out there on Sundays at where he is right now so it’s like a super he’s the ultimate Boomer bus he’s either going to be completely terrible or he’s going to turn into an all pro I really don’t see much of a middle with the elite athleticism that he has right there also per nrom the Commanders has six prospects that he ranked in his top 300 ahead of the 2024 NFL draft here are three sleepers according to nrom he said three sleepers to keep an eye on fullback cson yonov wide receiver Marcus rosemy Jack Saint and safety Ben Nel all three signings pointed to an all-encompassing holistic draft process under the new Administration this is why the trio were all Court special team standouts on their college teams so shouts out to Thor nrom for recognizing the fact that the commanders not only put together a crazy draft class but then on top of that went out there and signed one of the best undrafted fre agent classes out of the entire NFL then you also have around the NFL said that the commanders are among nine of the most improved teams in the NFL and this is Jeffrey Chadha from the NFL.com he ranked the most improved teams in the NFL now granted he only did nine of them and we came in as ninth I would argue that we’re higher than that but I’ll take it and here’s what he had to say about us he said new GM Adam Peters is making a strong impression in his first year on the job he inherited a mess but it’s quickly boasted a roster that could be better than people realize with new head coach Dan Quinn leading it Quinn has coached in a Super Bowl with Atlanta and also revitalized the Cowboys defense in recent years and I feel like that is very underrated enough people are not talking about that Dan Quin took a terrible Cowboys defense and immediately within the first year of him getting there made them the top takeaway defense in the NFL in the top 10 statistical defense and most important categories and then over the course of three years of being their defensive coordinator the Cowboys were the number one takeaway team in the NFL and we’re top five and top 10 in most defensive statistical categories that matter so when a lot of people question can the commanders go from the worst defense in the NFL to a top 15 top 10 defense I I’m actually very optimistic about it with the free agency moves that we made and then Dan Quinn and Joe Jr coaching us up again I really feel like that’s a slept on part of this whole off season but going back to the article he said it wouldn’t be surprising to see the commanders respond quickly to his uplifting coaching style Quinn will have talent to work with as well the headliner is quarterback jadden Daniels the second overall pick in the draft but this rookie class is strong Peters found three quality players who could contribute immediately in the second round the defensive tackle jaison Newton cornerback Mike sanr still and tight end Ben sate the commanders also clearly went shopping for veteran talent that could immediately plug in Quinn’s defensive schemes that group includes Edge rusher dorren Armstrong safety Jeremy chin and linebackers Frankie Lille and Bobby Wagner yes the commanders have a lot of work to do for from winning just four games of 2023 it’s also fair to believe they won’t be nearly as bad this fall now moving on you also have Titans rookie wide receiver Colton doell he said that Terry McClaren inspired him to be the receiver that he is today and it’s like a whole clip of him breaking down why and things like that I’m afraid to play that clip because that’s somebody else’s content I don’t want to you know get copyrighted or anything like that but if you want to go check that out it’s part of the Titans Coliseum podcast this is coming from a Titans group of reporters and analysts and things like that they interviewed him and things so if you want to go check that out and hear his entire breakdown there you go I just wanted to give yall the heads up that that is a thing out there Terry mclen is out here inspiring younger wide receivers to be great they’re modeling their games after Terry mcen we’re already to that point I remember the year that we drafted him it’s crazy that Terry mclen is already going into what like his fifth sixth year in the NFL like that’s crazy to me it feels like we just drafted him a year or two ago that’s wild and the fact that he’s already being the receiver that that younger guys look at and be like that’s who I want to be as I’m trying to work my way through college and to get to the NFL that’s amazing also speaking of Terry mclen back on May 17th during the coach Joe Gibbs burgundy and gold Gala Terry McClaren was recognized as a touchdown Club Player of the Year shouts out to Terry mclen for that also moving on shouts out to Dan stanberg at DC Sports Blog he tweeted an increased share of DC residents support using City funds to help finance a new football stadium in 22 30% of DC residents were in favor and 67% opposed this year 47% are in favor and 46% oppos so maybe we’ll get some things rolling there as far as moving the stadium to DC even though we have all of these investors we have like so many minority owners they should be able to pay for it for themselves what’s the point of having like 30 40 people having a percentage of the commanders if they can’t just all come together and do it but at the end of the day it seems like at the very least DC residents are slightly starting to lean more towards hey man we’ll pay for it whatever it takes to get this Stadium to DC that’s pretty cool also moving on shouts out to my boy disco he pointed out the fact he said when he tweeted so the commanders are doing something different with the season tickets this year if you are on an installment plan you can’t get your full SE um season ticket games until your account is paid in full for example if the commanders play Dallas at the end of the season you have to be paid up to get your tickets I’m thinking this is to keep fans from selling their tickets ahead of time and I’m honestly not even mad at that I’m really not but I just wanted to read that to y’all cuz I saw him tweet that all the way back on May 13th I put it to the side and was like all right when I do a RICO report I want to go ahead and give the heads up to people for those of y’all that may be considering buying season tickets or you already have them and you weren’t aware of that just in case if you didn’t read the fine print or whatever’s going on that’s a change that’s up needs to be updated also moving on at Nice Kicks there like a Twitter account that points out like the shoes that a lot of famous people and notable people are wearing and from rookie mini camps going all the way back to May 10th they pointed out the fact that head coach Dan Quinn had on the Concord Air Jordan 11s and Cliff kingsbery had on the Travis Scott Nike MC attack collab so you know just in case if you’re a sneakerhead out there just know that your head coach and your offensive coordinator are up on it right now I mean Dan Quinn has even talked about his shoe collection several times even at the combine they asked him about it and he like broke it down for a little bit says he has just about every Jordan shoe that matters so hey man Dan Quinn is on it moving on Irvin Magic Johnson he already talked about in another Ric report like weeks ago that he took Terry mclen him and Terry mclen went out to dinner and they talked about business and things like that well now he just tweeted as of May 31st so this was yesterday today I had lunch with Bobby Wagner a Super Bowl champion and current Washington Commander linebacker I was impressed by Bobby’s entrepreneurial mindset and provided him with tips on how to scale this business in Building Wealth I love that thank you Magic Johnson that’s a huge advantage to having Magic Johnson as one of your minority owners of your franchise cuz he’s going to do everything in his power to help the guys that are helping this franchise succeed even longterm off the field taking Terry McClaren under his wing taking Bobby Wagner under his wing and putting him on to game on the business side of things is a huge Advantage I mean that probably makes us a better free agency destination just off of that man like Magic Johnson wants to see me succeed out here he’s going to give me all of the advice that he could possibly give me that’s really interesting now moving on we have Rick Snider I know a lot of y’all know about him he tweeted back on May 10th one Commander rookie I didn’t get to mention that really impressed me was offensive tackle David Noah guugu Inu I hope that’s how you pronounce that I’m going need to figure out and take some time to really learn how to pronounce that curricula y’all know I’m terrible with names but I’m working on it so I really apologize David in out there he and then Rick Snyder went on to say lots of energy and Leadership worth watching through the summer this guy seems like a baller so let’s really break that down first of all he’s number 6 6 on the Washington commanders if you were wondering the last person to wear that number was Katon southernland just to give you a random background fact information he was an adraed free agent that the Washington commanders brought in from Toledo and he was offensive tackle number 40 on Dane bruger’s list and he’s 6’4 and 5/8 in as far as height 293 lbs and has 33 and 58 in arms and the reason people may not necessarily know about him is because he only started one season and that was his most reason season to Toledo when he just transferred there this past 2023 season so many people don’t really even have him on their Radars he’s talented but a lot of people just don’t really even know about him he’s gone so so far into the radar for so long especially again he played for Toledo a lot of people aren’t necessarily checking out Toledo to find like the top talent in a draft I mean if you’re a true Scout you’re you’re you’re combing through everywhere possible but Toledo is not the best place to get noticed first of all he went to Temple at first then he was at Ruckers then he and then he went he was still at records for another year and then he went to Toledo for his final year before he just went and became an undra the free agent for the Washington commanders and again to point out the fact that this last year was the first time he’s ever started so that doesn’t even help his case when he was on Temple he only played in one game when he was with records he started he played in two games in 2021 and then three games in 2022 and then Toledo he finally played in 14 games last year so again this is why he’s so under the radar and then on top of that he’s also from the Bronx and people don’t typically look for football talent in New York just in general they really look for every other sport to be completely honest every sport but football when it comes to New York so shouts out to Curtis Samuel being from Brooklyn and making it to the NFL because it is difficult for them man I’m not going to lie if you’re not from the Southeast region if you’re not from California Ohio or something like that even the DMV like you have a way better chance of getting noticed getting seen by college Scouts and then from there you go to a higher more reputable college team and then you get more noticed by NFL Scouts it’s just basically like a domino effect of once you get noticed to start coming out of high school you know you kind of always stay on people’s Radars going all the way up to the NFL sadly he didn’t have that I mean this guy’s pretty much been under the radar his entire life again I do want to point out the fact that he does have some talent and potential to him but I mean if he was born and raised in Georgia Alabama Texas Florida he probably would have been higher than a three star recruit that he was coming out of high school and then been set on track to be noticed by more NFL people throughout the course of his collegiate career we may have found like a Domin and a rough here and boy I mean if there were any position that I would hope to find a dominant a rough a Hidden Gem it’s tackle because even if Brandon Coleman is the answer at left tackle hopefully sooner rather than later then I would still love for a higher cying tackle to take over the right tackle position from Andrew Wy sooner rather than later again I talked about Andrew wey earlier he was decent last year so it’s not like he’s just a huge weakness on this offensive line anymore like he was the first half of last year but do I hope that a more talented higher cying tackle comes along and eventually takes over the spot because he learns to outproduce Andrew Wy yes please and this guy David in may be the answer for that now moving on also shouts out to Austin Eckler he has officially launched his revamped app experience you know cuz his name is Eckler but it’s like experience EK you know what I’m saying to connect fans with their favorite athletes the app will continue to grow overtime as he adds more athletes to the app give it a download and see how fan and then also congratulations to Austin Eckler because he married dancer Melanie wilking in Las Vegas and this was a I saw the announcement May 27th but I’m not exactly sure what day it happened maybe it was on May 27th but shouts out to Eckler for going and getting married this off season as well now moving on Commander’s wide receiver dami Brown is hosting his first ever football camp for the Youth make sure y’all pull up well it’s June 29th at West meckelberg High School in Charlotte 7400 t tuas takasi Road I believe that’s I’m glad y’all are seeing the graphic cuz I’m struggling it’s for elementary middle and to Middle School boys and girls so shouts out to dami Brown for doing that man shouts out to everybody doing youth camps and giving back especially from the places they’re from because he’s from North Carolina so I like the fact that he’s going back to North Carolina to do that if you can double up and do something in the DMV where you play at where you practice at and do something in North Carolina I think that would be the perfect combination but hey man winning doubt go back to where you’re from cuz they probably need it more and then also donon Payne winning got a new rollsroyce and Brian Robinson was recording them I’ll just give you the clip real quick cuz it’s a little funny 101 never seen it that’s how you feel yeah top top yes sir and then speaking of defensive lineman the commanders dline all went goat cting back on May 23rd and dorren Armstrong ended up coming in first place so hopefully he could assert himself like that on the defensive line on the field on Sundays wise as well but here’s that clip too if you want it we St and just moved up to second [Music] place and also before we get up out of here speaking of fun the rookies went on a tour around DC like all of them even some of the undrafted free agents everybody I see chiggy in the crowd I see Jaden Daniels I see Cate I see everybody Sam Hartman everybody Brandon Coleman looking like the biggest person out there by far everybody was out there on the tour Johnny Newton was even recording videos himself going live and things like that so they seem to be having a real good time CU a lot of people don’t even know like what the monument is and things like that so they got like a real good tour of DC where the Million Man March was all that type of stuff all of the historical stuff and they were having fun while they were doing it so shouts out to them for finally getting a tour of DC I’m pretty sure the real tour they want though is where the good food spots at where to get the good Mumbo all that type of stuff somebody got to put them on to those I saw Jaden Daniels a couple of weeks ago eating somewhere that I believe a lot of people were saying was like a underground spot for good DC food and things like that so make sure y’all put them on to the real spots it’s great to get the historical part and shouts out to DC because I don’t know if y’all know but everywhere else in America stuff isn’t just free like the zoo is not free elsewhere the museums are not free elsewhere New York sometimes it’s like suggestive you can give them a penny and go in a lot of the times but most places you got to play I know in Atlanta you got to pay for everything Zoo any Museum no matter what you got to pay full price you coming up off some money to go do any of these types of activities so shouts out to DC for allowing a lot of these activities to be free and shouts out to the players for taking advantage of that and shouts out to the commanders for even coordinating this for having all of the rookies together including them draft the FR agents go out all together have a good time and take a tour of the city and things like that cuz again a lot of people don’t really grow up knowing a lot of these things so that’s cool for them to learn that and have fun while doing so but yeah man that’s the end of this video please get in the comment section
