๐ŸŽฅWSH June 5 OTAs Clips & Analysis by Position Groups! Jayden Daniels BOMPS! New Kicker! New Field!๐Ÿ‘€

all right what’s Happ y it’s your B Rico from Street scores and yes sir we finally have some OTA practice to break down this is the June 5th edition at this point I don’t even know what to name this like what day or whatever because we’ve been having OTAs practices but it’s just not every day it’s not even half of the days that the act like us as the national Media or media members analysts fans can even go to these practices and see what’s going on most of these practices are closed off from the entire rest of the world outside of the people that are actually a part of this organization as far as the players coaches front office that’s it no not even like John Comm and those guys are allowed to go but today we finally had an OTA practice that was open to the public so I have clips and Analysis for y’all and we’re going to go position group by position group we’re going to talk about quarterbacks running backs Titans wide receivers all the way down even through special teams we got to talk about and look at Jaden Daniels throwing some bombs we got to talk about the new kicker making every kick that we just signed a couple of days ago we have a new field we definitely got to talk about that new field Josh Harris is not playing with y’all and we also have Emanuel Forbes apparently gaining weight and improving we have so many things to talk about Frankie louu is the spirit of the defense the soul of the defense that man Joe wit junor our defensive coordinator straight up told reporter stop asking me who the starters are we have so many crazy things that happened today in practice or that was said in practice as well so before we dive into all of that make sure you s for that like button STi for the subscription button s for the Bell next to that subscription button so you get notification each and every time I release an informative Pate videos just like this I know it’s late but I’ve been busy all there so much random stuff man I’m like just now getting to my room like an hour ago and it took me a whole hour to get all of these notes together so just stay patient with me I really appreciate y’all for waiting so long for me to put out this video breaking down everything that happened today as in Wednesday June 5th of OTAs for the Washington Commanders make sure you stay tuned for more content any other practices where we actually do have access to the practices and we actually know what’s happening we get to see what’s happening we get to find out what’s happening I will have you updated on those every single time so make sure you subscribe at the very least for that and of course I’m working on the rookie film sessions I’m working on a lot of whole lot of video ideas really fun Concepts projections depth chart things different styles of defenses Personnel groups all kinds of things so make sure you stay tuned for all of that and without further Ado let’s goe and dive into this video man let’s get it Adam [Music] Adam and before we even get into everything that happened at practice shouts out to JP family for pointing this out this is the last week of OTAs before mini camp next week plenty of questions remain left tackle who are the pass rushers in Nickel Dime situations wide receiver depth and on and on and on should be a fun day just to give you a heads up and some things that people are focusing on going into these practices and just speaking of like the practice schedule again we’re practicing we practiced yesterday and today then we practice again June 7 two days from now from Friday and then that’s the end the voluntary OTAs then we move to mandatory mini camp June 11th through the 13th and then after that it’s a big gap from there all the way until like mid July or something like that when we start training camp Soo make sure you really soak up and really cherish these updates and these practices that we’re getting right now cuz after June 13th is going to be a big like six week gap of just pretty much nothingness when it comes to the washing commanders as far as any news coming out cuz I doubt we sign anybody in that ugly period of time as well but y’all know me again me being Rico of Street scores even though the commanders have a dead period coming up soon I will not I still have enough video topics and ideas to come out with at least one video a day so make sure y’all stay tuned but just to let you know we have OTAs again June 7th we have mandatory mini camp June 11th through 13th and then nothing after that until like mid July maybe even later July for training camp and JP Finley also points out a good point that I brought up a couple of weeks ago as well that these OTAs a voluntary but mandatory mini camp is mandatory but there has been no issue so far in voluntary OTAs if anybody showing up everybody’s been there even the injured player in second round pick defensive lineman Johnny Newton even he’s there working on a bicycle on the side we’re going to talk about him a little bit later but like we’ve had 100% participation pretty much every practice so I’m assuming that once we go from voluntary which we are now having 100% participation to mandatory I’m assuming will have no issues there we have nobody Holding Out for contracts you don’t have Chase young like a Chase young situation where somebody’s just working out with another random coach that they trust or or a random exercise guy or even like another player like that one time I think Chase young was skipping practice with us to work out with like Von Miller or something like that we don’t have any of those situations going on right now everybody’s 100% brought bought in even with these voluntary OTAs we are 100% bought in which is incredible now we also got to talk about this new field situation I know that may not necessarily be the most exciting news but I don’t think you understand how big this is man shouts out to Scott Abraham he was the first person that I saw tweet about it he said goodbye astro turf at the commander team headquarters the team is putting in a new grass field as you can see on your screen right now JP Finley said new Dan Ashburn indeed they finally got rid of the 30 plus year old Astro turfield that the team couldn’t even practice on and was the closest field to the facility this might seem like nothing but it’s at least a decade overdue the turf field started getting removed as of yesterday actually and Quinn confirmed during his press conference that a new grass field is being put into play so again from Turf to grass field and then shouts out to JP Finley for providing this photo right here this angle he said here’s the best photo I can find of the old turf field closest to the facility and unused for years players had to walk past it to get to the actual practice field that’s crazy and the only thing that was stopping this removal was literally the willingness to spend money and Harris group changes that within just one year of owning the team shouts out to miss trist for also bringing up this point as well and it comes with a pretty hefty price tag to remove it shows further that the new ownership group’s willingness to make tangible improvements everywhere possible m said that he was told a few years ago that the expected cost to remove the turf and replace with a grass was $ 1.5 million and again this was a few years ago it maybe even slightly more expensive than that right now when they’ve actually paid to get it done and this is definitely first of all a sign that they plan on staying in Ashburn long term for practicing and being like the central location for all our facilities front office and things like that they wouldn’t spend big money on on something like this if they planned on leaving anytime soon again at minimum it probably cost him $1.5 million but most importantly Josh Harris is also keeping to his promises this terrible field that was not being maintained there since it was created back in 1992 before I was even born and the only reason again that it wasn’t torn up for a new one was literally because of money so all I got to say is man thank you Jos Harris man appreciate you for real cuz Dan SN man man now let’s go ahead and move on to the Dan and Dan Quinn he spoke to the media before practice and he said that he couldn’t necessarily comment much on the release of kicker Brandon mcmanis with him being sued and everything like that because it’s still an ongoing investigation which means the investigation wasn’t even finished and they were just like yeah we don’t have any time to deal with anything like this you got to go and even though we got to bring in a kicker that’s not necessarily perceived to be a really good kicker he was a backup to Chris blitt in the UFL but we just got to bring in somebody because we’re not about to sit here and deal with whatever you got going on and I respect that um Dan Quinn also says the team was unaware of the allegations against Brandon McManus until May 22nd and they already cut him a couple of days ago well um very early into June so again they weren’t playing but the most interesting thing that Dan Quinn had to say about practice is that first of all Washington was starting to get into more 11 on1 work today so that’s big time we basically just been doing individual drills and seven on sevens now we’re starting to get into 11 on 11 things even though it’s not padded it’s not full contact yet that’s still a big step forward he also said that they’re still trying to figure out the new kickoff rules which is really interesting because this is very different for everybody out there also Daniels is set to throw the first pitch on Sunday during the Washington Nationals game against the Atlanta Braves so hey man shouts out to Jayden Daniels going to throw that pitch out there I mean I shouts out to the Nationals because since y’all are Nationals fans a lot of y’all are I always hope that they win but you know if if I had to pick a team more than likely be the Braves if anything so I’m happy with the result of that game regardless but hey I love the fact that jayen Daniel is going out there to throw that first pitch he’s kind of doing like his little PR run it’s like being a franchise quarterback that’s just how things go and Quinn said that he and Daniels even had a big discussion about him throwing that first pitch and he even said quote so all lies are on that first pitch and I was asked if there was going to be some practice involved going out there oh no doubt about it so yeah we’re expecting him to rip a strike on that one unquote so I love the fact that they’re even like taking time out of their day outside of practice to really work on his pitch so when he goes out there to throw that first pitch on Sunday against the Atlanta Braves is going to actually potentially be a really good one I just love how competitive this organization is right now that has nothing to deal with nothing and Dan Quinn and jadden danels and probably some more people even involved want to make sure that that first pitch is great so they’re actually going to practice for it I love that man I mean and then also moving on speaking of something that you can love if this joke with JR clip does not get you fired up the clip that he had from practice today talking to the National media I don’t know what will we don’t have 11 starters okay you’re going to put this down so don’t ask me who’s starting here we have 17 to 18 guys we’re going to go out there we’re going to roll a deep crew and go out there and whip people okay so we don’t have 11 guys we have many personnel groups and and now can they own those positions um when we put them in there so when when that comes don’t ask me about who starting please I mean come on man how do you not feel that like how does not not do something to you inside man he said we don’t have 11 starters we have like 17 18 guys that we’re going to roll out there as part of a rotation we’re going to roll deep and we’re going to whoop people we basically be going to be out there jumping people is what it seems like we about to be going out there making sure we have so much talent to where everybody can stay fresh we’re not about to have people out there to the point of exhaustion I love that and it also depends on strategy like maybe this certain player is better against this certain defensive matchup and things like that and that man said don’t even ask me about starters please so he’s letting y’all know early as reporters stop asking him who’s starting because he doesn’t even necessarily care about it because even by the time we get to the regular season it’s going to be hard to say who started because we’re going to have such a heavy rotation of talented players going in and out anyway and I’m just telling you man he may be my favorite coach to listen to out of this entire staff I mean how do you not love his energy and intensity man going all the way back from from his first initial press conference man he’s still the same guy he may not have had like more press conference assist then to remind us but he just came out and reminded you today exactly who he is and there’s just no way with that level of intensity and attention to detail that we go out there with a bad defense this year just like we did last year there’s just no way also the commanders hosted a makea wish kid today as well 8-year-old Jack was having the time of his life out there commanders otaa shouts out to Miss tisler for providing this video right here what we doing over here hang out hang out regular am I literally dreaming I got also former bergundy and gold defensive tackle Kendrick goson like I told y’all a few days ago like over a week ago that we have like coaching fellowships coming in as part of a like program to have minority coaches get exposure and and some sort of like introduction into coaching at the NFL level and things like that Kendrick goon is one of them so he’s one of the fellowships that’s here he’s taking part of the final OTAs and mandatory mini camp part of it then we’re going to bring in a whole another group of Fellowship coaches to come be a part of training camp as well and a lot of these coaches are coming from HBCU and things like that and Kendrick was out there getting to it man like he was showing passion we may want to consider keeping him around in some sort of role man I definitely like the fact that we gave them that opportunity and of course man they started practice with an intense amount of energy when they’re doing those bag drills everybody’s running yelling screaming running frantically even the coaches are going crazy with them running up and down yelling screaming and today instead of some Atlanta Classics like they usually been doing in a lot of these beginning of practice drills where everybody’s hyped they were playing some Baton Rouge some Louisiana some of that young boy I’m loving it man y’all know me man outside of Atlanta and Cali Louisiana’s probably maybe my next favorite music scene um and it seemed like a lot of the players felt that energy and and the intensity went up because of it as well and I like the song they were playing as well man I love some Louisiana music man I ain’t going to lie so shouts out to the coaching staff and whoever is in charge of the music making sure that the players it’s music that the players can get with you know what I’m saying it’s not just some random music that they chose they’re picking music maybe the players are actually picking the music before it starts maybe it’s Jada DS’s playlist who knows but either the way now let’s talk about injuries and as far as injuries go I mean it’s really only John Johnny Newton right now our sec round pick defensive lineman jazon Newton right now he’s in a walking boot he’s still finding a way to work out with his teammates on the side field as you can see on the screen right now I love it man I absolutely love it even though he’s hurt he’s still out there doing what he can while he can doing his much as he possibly can and also like the fact that hey man this is our only real serious injury right now everybody else on this team is available right now I mean of course knock on wood and things like that but right now we are like looking very healthy going into this season but we got to see man training camp all kinds of stuff pre-season we’ll see but as of right now we’re having one of the best starts we could possibly have on the health side of things maybe my boy Tim mcgraph has something to deal with that let’s get it though now before we start to dive into all of the position groups of course starting with the quarterback coaches wise Zach Selby said that he noticed two plays in and the biggest thing that he’s noticed so far is how much communication has happening between both sides of the ball he said in article after practice asides from daniels’s pocket presence the most noticeable difference was how loud practice was during 11 on 11 drills the defense was being vocal communicating their reads to one another while the offense was making checks at the line of scrimmage clearly being on the same page has been a focal point for the new coaching staff and that extra attention is paying off these guys are loud they’re communicating I absolutely love that please please please more of that keep that going do not lose that let that remain a focus and a priority to make sure that we have down pack now let’s start to really get into the practice first of all quarterbacks of course here’s some highlights of jayen Daniels at practice today and I mean the guy looks smooth man also a lot of people had very positive things to say about Jaden Daniels before and after practice today starting with Andrew Wy he said that jayen danels can sling it and the fact that he’s always smiling is a great thing as too as well I like that Jaden Daniel always having a good time smiling seen a lot of clips of him dancing he seems like the type of quarterback that I can relate to a lot and can have some infectious energy behind him not only just by leadership but by just naturally just being a really fun guy to be around a very charismatic guy but he’s also chill I really like this jayen Daniels personality of course when it comes to what he can do on the field accuracy Nuance reading through defense going through progressions his his legs his big arm he his ability to throw the slot fade of course all of that stuff really matter when it comes to Sundays but also being a guy that people want to Galvanize behind not only because of leadership but also just because you’re a fun person to be around I feel like that’s going to pay off huge Dan Quinn also said that Jayden Daniels has been going through good mechanics every day and he’s getting more comfortable by the day that’s big news for jadden DS coming from the head coach also Zack Selby pointed out the fact that this is the closest thing today that we’ve seen that jayen Daniels facing the NFL pass rush since we drafted him although it is still June though it doesn’t look like d Jaden danels is bothered though goes through his progressions has nice footwork and Zips the ball to his targets and then after practice in his article he said the commanders went through 11 on1 drills today for the first time in front of reporters all offseason marking the first time we’ve seen Daniels go against anything resembling an NFL style pass rush he had to scramble out of the pocket a couple of times but Daniels remained calm as blitzers closed in around him they were blitzing him as well he went through his progressions had impressive footwork and zipped the ball to his Target targets it’s still just June but it’s a great sign for his development right now also I like the fact that I see Jaden Daniels throwing the ball to Brian Robinson and some of the running backs and these drills right here and going back to the simulated pressures even before we had like the players doing it like defensive players going at them in 11 on 11s while jayen Daniels was warming up Cliff kingsberry was also running at him and simulating pressures as well so he got to warm up with that a little bit before the actual defense started to run at him and from everything that I’m hearing from everybody that was there at practice that said anything about it on Twitter or whatever they said that jayen Daniels looked really good just overall he even ended the 11 on1 period with a deep completion down to the left sideline did really well there but then they moved the Red Zone work where the offense struggled last week in practices and I do want to point out the fact that yes he did struggle some in the Red Zone drills today but he wasn’t bad but at the end of the day all of the quarterbacks on roster are noticeably worse in the Red Zone compared to when they’re doing drills in any other situation in practice but that’s literally how it’s supposed to be windows are way smaller a defense goes from having to worry about covering 80 yards to less than 20 and the red zone is way more about strategy than anywhere else on the field and right now the offense is as vanilla as plain as possible which is why the defense has a huge Advantage here in the Red Zone when they’re working on those drills it’s really up to the offensive coordinator to create mismatches with scheme and play calling an actual real game scenarios and these quarterbacks are almost getting like none of that they’re just out there wide receivers running routes and they just got to figure out who’s open somehow with again the very small windows I mean receivers are more likely to be doubled and things like that cuz there’s just less space to operate with I mean you just have the The End Zone and within 20 yards to the end zone it’s not much to really work with and JP Finley also tweeted out that it was a rough series for the offense and Daniels in the Red Zone he had to throw one pass out of the back of the end zone intentionally on second down because it was just literally nothing there and then the third pass that he threw was underthrown on a corner fade and it technically would have been picked off so little bit of a struggle there but nothing to truly Panic about do not overreact to that we’re going to work on that and again scheme has a lot to deal with how well the offense operates in the Red Zone it’s all it’s so much more about coaching there than really any other situation on the field even two-minute offense is kind of like just go out there and make plays but that red zone is like where a coach truly especially defensive coordinator really makes his money and on top of all of that jayen Daniels this coach of staff and I love the fact that they’re doing this and we’ve talked about this in another ota’s practice breakdown is that they’re are not allowing these quarterbacks to run for a touchdown like say if just the field is wide open just Noah’s Arc opening right there they’re not allowed to just straight up Run for the touchdown they can run and use their legs to extend the play to find somebody to throw the ball to or maybe they throw the ball out of bounds but Jayden Daniels is not allow to like literally run for a touchdown even if it’s there for him to do it even if there’s enough space for him to go out there and run for it and I like the fact that we’re doing everything that we can to be like just forget your legs we’re just working on pure quarterbacking right now legs extra you can bring that out once we get to like the preseason the regular season things like that but in practice right now we are purely focused on how well you can just be a quarterback from basically the neck up arms CH and then head and all of that stuff Nuance reading the field going through your progressions reading the defense pre- snap and post Snap how things change being able to extend plays with your legs but then deliver an accurate pass with your arm all of that type of stuff they don’t want to see you running for touchdowns that’s not the goal right now and I like that also so Marcus Mariota wise first play of 11 on 11s he threaded a really nice pass to Zack hers and that’s really all I have for the quarterback so far so moving on to the running backs and here are some clips of The Running Backs from Scott Abraham right here and I’m loving the drills I’m seeing man not only is there a lot of pass catch and drills that I’m seeing in this clip right now which makes a lot of sense because literally every running back we brought in this off season as veteran free agents and Austin Eckler and Jeremy McNichols or in drafted free agent agents in Austin Jones and Michael Wy all of those guys are pass catching third down backs so there’s clearly an emphasis to improve the pass catching ability in this running back Group which means that we’re probably going to feature these running backs in the pass catching game the passing part of the offense a lot more than we did last year that’s going to be a huge part of this Cliff kingsberry offense I’m very excited about that and also I feel like on top of all of that Brian Robinson is very underrated in the passing game but also I see some pitch and drills where like they’re pitching the ball out a decent distance to the running backs in the back field as well so this offense is really about to do everything that they can to have defenses exhausted man I’m also liking how smooth Jaden Daniels is with throwing some of those pitches out to the running backs as well accuracy and timing matters no matter where how and who the ball is being delivered whether you’re throwing a 80 yard bomb down the sideline for a touchdown or if you’re delivering a pitch to the to the running back or if you’re even just throwing a screen over a line backer in front of the safety or or in front of the corner to a running back all of this stuff requires accuracy timing and chemistry so we’re building on that right now good thing to know and then moving on to the wide receivers nothing very notable other than the fact that JP Finley when olid zakas one of our wide receivers that we signed as a veteran free agent this off season he pointed out the fact that ol zakus sounded super happy with his start in Washington is very optimistic that he can contribute JP Finley in that tweet said that he thinks that that olid zakus could actually be wide receiver four with a real chance to contribute this fall and that’s very interesting I’m not exactly sure if I’m that high on him at all right now I mean you still got I mean of course Terry Jan and Luke mcaffrey your automatic three JP Finley saying that there’s a chance that Ola could be wide receiver four above dami Brown who’s our best blocking Wide Receiver right now him and Terry mclen but you could probably lean towards dami and he also he’s also a deep ball threat and then Jameson Crowder the Nuance season slot wide receiver that you can super depend on to always make a play when you need him to the most so but he feels like JP Finley says that ol zakus could probably be wide receiver four right now we’ll see though if he is then that means that he outperformed those guys in front of him and that means he’s ready to go out there and ball out I’m just not exactly sure how confident I am in that now moving on to the tight ends here’s a pass of jayen Daniels throwing to Zack s and boy this connection is going to be a very deadly one this season I’m so excited and shouts out to my guys at ref the district because they bring up a great Point man if Zack s can stay healthy for at least 13 games this season this is a very different offense I mean you know how hard it is to cover Zack s man how nuanced he is his understanding of all of like the the things like Leverage and and not not making a move in your break until like the very last second until the ball’s about to get right there so the DBS no chance or time to react like a whole bunch of just veteran season stuff that I’m hoping Ben Sate is soaking up every day but hey man if you if we can get Zack Z at least 13 games to the point of ref the district man this could be serious I mean that boy Jen Daniels may be unstoppable with that connection right there now moving on to the offensive line as you can see on the screen right now you have some of the offensive linemen going through some drills at practice today but Dad Quin had a pretty funny segment when talking about our new starting center that we brought over from the Dallas Cowboys Tyler beades because he literally only calls him bad a word that’s it that’s that’s literally all he calls him and it flows so well I’m not going to lie if I if I was the type to cuss on my YouTube channel I would just call him that as well I mean his last name already sounds like it almost like the way that is pronounced and Dan Quinn said it in a way that you could tell that that’s what people called him even going back to his days with the Cowboys like that he just rolled off of his tongue so easily like yeah um Tyler bad award and I think it’s even funnier that Dan Quinn doesn’t even say his first name no Tyler at all just straight up only call bad a word just like booy like that’s literally it like oh yeah bad a word that’s it man and then speaking of him Tyler bades talked about the no huddle all elements in the Commander’s offense and said quote that’s going to be part of it and he added that jadden D is putting the work in right now doing everything imaginable to be ready by the time we get to week one of the regular season I like the fact that I’m hearing some compliments from his end to Jaden Daniels and he also took some time to talk about how he and Jen D have already been building their chemistry with each other from Center to quarterback that’s a huge part of the offense right there very underrated and that’s I mean that’s going to be very important I mean if they don’t get that together our offense can’t get nothing done Tyler sounded like he felt like things were going really well so far too when speaking about jayen D and their chemistry together and I love the quote that he said with quote it’s a relationship that never ends each and every day you have to keep putting in the time unquote and I like the fact that both of those guys are very IND because Zack Selby pointed out in this article after the practice he said beades and Daniels are taking this very seriously though and there’s only one way to get better A lot of reps quote you go out on the field and be like hey I want to get 20 reps badish said it’s that development of a relationship and it’s that Brotherhood unquote and Zach Selby continues to say by all accounts Daniels has handled the extra workload that comes with being a professional player beades is not the only veteran who has praised Daniels during OTAs as both Jonathan Allen and Bobby Wagner are proved of the way that Daniels is working to making sure he’s ready for the rookie season remember Jonathan Allen said that he Prides himself on being one of the first people in the building before practice even starts and things like that before they have meetings and he said Jen D is literally beat him there I think every day so far always beating him there he’s always there before him which is crazy and then Tyler badish not only just compliments for Jaden Daniels but also for Dan Quinn he said quote you can trust that man with the team but also with life in general that’s a huge part of why I’m here unquote so now we have a top 10 at worst top 15 starting center in the NFL because of how great of a person Dan Quinn is all of these other factors about scheme um Adam Peters and how he’s building this franchise to be great Josh Harris’s vision for the franchise as well not being Frugal at all whoever wants the money out give you the money if you help this Commander franchise get any closer to a Super Bowl I’m willing to pay you to do just that I mean we have so many reasons to buy into this organization Tyler bat said that Dan Quinn being a great person even outside of football is the reason why he’s here and that’s what sold him to come here as a free agent everybody else probably has a random different reason but all in all everybody’s buying into the vision that Dan Quinn and Adam Peters and Josh Harris are building for this team right now Andrew Aly also said that he appreciates the changes he said quote the locker room energy is great compared to last year and everything like that he said we have a ping pong table in there now we got some cornhole boards too a lot of things have changed it’s Good Vibes in there unquote and I do want to point out the fact that I know a lot of people hate the ping pong table situation and all of those type of things they feel like it’s a distraction but at the end of the day hey man I don’t necessarily love it either but I trust that this regime will do a great job of managing this correctly this time this regime it in in contrast to the previous one and there will be some real balance here they can have the ping pong table but it’s all serious business when it’s time to but when it’s not necessary for everybody to be just super hard super serious business maybe we can actually Bond a little bit and build some team chemistry so I feel like they will balance well now moving on to the defensive line here’s just some footage of the defensive line going through drills and they look very energetic right now these guys look ready they look like they’re trying to have a bounceback season cuz remember Jonathan Allen and donon Payne didn’t have the seasons that everybody kind of expected them to have but I feel like most of that was because they were on the field way too much they were exhausted they were fatigued they were worn down I feel like second round pick Johnny Newton being here as a defensive lineman that’s going to be a part of that rotation with Jonathan Allen Deon Payne in the interior of the defensive line is going to help everybody stay fresh you got to remember Johnny Newton went through the same thing I forgot the exact stats I did a whole breakdown of this when I broke down Johnny Newton um like of you know it took me a while to finally get to him after the draft but I did my whole over 30 minute video breakdown probably was like 40 something minutes of just Johnny Newton and I brought up the stats and comparing him to a lot of the other top defensive tackles in this past draft class that just came out in 2024 and he had like more than 200 and something snaps than all of those guys like it was ridiculous how many snaps he was playing constantly so I think he’s going to benefit Jonathan Allen Deon Payne they’re all going to make each other better by being just better defensive lineman and allowing each other to finally be a part of a rotation instead of having to play 80 90% of snaps that’s not how defensive line should work so I’m very excited for these guys and then linebacker wise as you can see on the screen you got some Bobby Wagner you got some Frankie luu you got really the whole team the whole linebacker group right now Frankie louu looks big out there too man when you’re really looking at him walking around running around compared to the other linebackers but Joe with JR talked about Bobby Wagner he even said that he leans on Bobby Wagner a lot to help guide the younger players and set the standard he even offers with some coaching when the occasion calls for it I’m telling you man you can’t put a price tag on the impact that Bobby Wagner is going to have on this team man it’s just absolutely invaluable I don’t even know what number to put to it Bobby Wagner is helping this team on so many different levels he’s even helping the defensive coordinator out remember he helped Samuel cosmi realized that he was even though Samuel cosmi thought to himself that he was disguising the fact that he was about to pull on a certain Run play as they be become the pulling guard come to the other side of the offensive line to ke help lead the charge for the running back Bobby Wagner somehow even noticed it after Samuel Cosby thought was hiding it and Samuel cosmi asked Bobby Wagner how he knew Bobby Wagner broke it down to him now Samuel cosmi is an even better guard because of our linebacker veteran free agent that we signed like Bobby Wagner’s impact on this team as a leader helping everybody with so many veteran Nuance things telling them what to look for as a linebacker what to what linebackers are looking for if you’re an offensive lineman like it’s just so many levels to it man so many levels and then also commanders defensive coordinator Joe Wi Jr talked about Frankie louu he said quote what’s not not to like about him he’s the heartbeat of what competitive hard knows defensive football is all about unquote here’s the clip right here oh L yeah oh man everything what’s not to like about him he is he is the heartbeat of what competitive hardnose defensive football is about you know and don’t I remember he said he said coach just tell me what you want me to do and I’ll do it and he goes his hard as he can I love that I I mean he’s just he’s a fun guy to be around a fun guy to coach I mean if you weren’t excited about Frankie louu yet you should be by now I mean Joey Jr said that he’s the heart and soul of the defense and wants to do everything necessary to contribute man I mean how can you not be sold on this linebacker core right now and speaking of this linebacker core Joe Jr also said that Jamon Davis is big strong and a fast player who has good Ben Davis was used on the edge a bit today and they’re really trying to work that in with him man I like that and then speaking of jam Davis he said that he’s liking the new staff and the new role including coming off of the edge said quote I feel like it’s letting me cut it Loose getting after some of the quarterbacks unquote and I’m not going to lie I really feel like this is Jamon Davis’s true calling I’m not saying that he’s going to go out there and literally be Michael Parsons but the the coaching staff to help build and turn Michael Parsons into what he is now today that’s the same coaching staff that’s here now with Dan Quinn and Joe with JR so I think Jamon Davis if if if he can’t do it here he can’t do it anywhere else and I feel like they’re setting them up for greatness and his Elite athleticism that you can’t teach is going to benefit him mightily and I feel like the coaching staff is going to going to handle the rest I’m very excited and he also talked about the new defense as a whole Jam Davis said quote this is a runin hit defense like I always say we try to run and play with our herir on fire and that’s something they’re living up to right now unquote so it’s not just talk when Joy Jr and Dan Quinn is saying that this defense is going to be completely different from what y’all were dealing with last year with even just the mentality part of it not even just schematically let’s just talk about the mentality about how we’re going to run and hit people Jamon Davis is saying that so far it looks like we’re truly going to live up to those words I’m excited now moving on to the defensive backs as well Dan Quinn talked about Emanuel Forbes he said his superpower is his ability to turn the ball over and he also mentioned that Emanuel Forbes has been working this off season to put on some more size to his frame and I’m not going to lie I’m rooting heavy for Emanuel Forbes to work out especially as a first round pick but at weight I’m not going to lie man if anything it looks like he’s lost weight but I’m I’m hoping that I’m wrong I’m hoping that Dan Quinn is right but those pictures of Emanuel fores that we’ve been seeing going around the past few days have not looked good as far as gaining weight but hey man I I’m just really hoping that maybe we’re looking at the pictures the wrong way I really do and then Dan Quinn was also asked about Emanuel Forbes his size and Dan Quinn stressed that his ball skills and his length are going to be very helpful to his game and it said that it’s really not one siiz faol basically kind of admitting like yeah he is small but he’s going to make plays even in spite of how skinny is basically Dan Quinn’s point and then Joey Jr said that Forbes is getting better and has a good skill set to work with and I want to remind y’all that there will reports that Dan Quinn and Joe Jr planned on drafting Emanuel Forbes in the first round for the Cowboys last year if we didn’t take them before they had the chance and confirmed not even like a report or a rumor confirmed Emanuel Forbes went in for a top 30 visit with the Cowboys so there was some serious interest there maybe they had real plans for him maybe they don’t take Don Bland in the fifth round because they got Emanuel Forbes in the first round it seems like they took Don Bland to be their interception hunting guy because they didn’t get the chance to get Emanuel Forbes Don Bland ended up setting the NFL record as a rookie as a rookie setting an NFL record for the most pick sisters in the season and led the NFL interceptions last year and I like donon Bland I like his talent but I feel like that was more coaching and scheme than anything and that coaching and scheme is coming over here to coach up Emanuel Forbes and it sounds like they preferred him as a first rounder over Deon Bland as a fifth rounder and if Deon Bland was that great for the Cowboys last year I’m just saying picture with what Emanuel Forbes can do for the commanders this year so I’m really excited man if this coaching staff truly believes in Emanuel Forbes then I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they know what they’re talking about now moving on to another defensive back the last defensive back that we’ll talk about today before we move on to special teams one of my favorite players on the entire team one of the players I hope works out the most that I hope reaches their Silling the most out of this entire team it’s probably literally like jayen Daniels and Jeremy chin easily in my top five confirmed and then Jeremy chin even talked about Jayden danels and basically talked about how like iron sharpens iron and he said when talking about Jayden danels quote he’s been really poised our lockers are right next to each other we talk to each other every single day he’s asking me questions I’m giving him feedback unquote I love that thank you again Jerry chin is one of the players I’m rooting the hardest for on this entire team because of his Silling because of his freakish atticism and the flashes that we saw his rookie season and the fact that his locker is right next to Jaden Daniels is and they talk all the time they’re really bonding I’m really hoping that’s a bond that really builds up to the point that Jeremy Chen is a permanent fixure of this team and we resign him to a long-term contract after he’s done with this one-year approval deal that he’s on right now now moving on to special teams new commanders kicker Riz ahed is wearing number three at OTAs and just to remind you number three was the number that Brandon mcmanis was wearing before we just cut him a few days ago and then we just signed a mid to uh to V kicker like a couple of days ago he’s basically just here for a try out just to remind y’all but we do have this clip of him right here making a 45 y like it’s [Music] nothing good kick but I’m not going to lie though man kicker highlights inv voluntary OT is crazy but we do have a kicker problem right now and we got to hope that that hopefully this can turn into something because this guy was Chris bit’s backup let me emphasize that he was Chris bl’s backup in the UFL so am mid making a 45 yard field goal even with no pressure no crowd noise is still fairly noticeable it’s still like okay maybe you know maybe there’s something there plus Scott Abraham said that he made every kick attempt while the media was allowed to film and watch the practice so am man maybe he’s getting something going maybe he’s found a new light Maybe reached deep within himself and had an epiphany or I don’t know and also shouts out to trese too cuz as y’all saw in that clip he’s wearing his temporary number 10 number he still hasn’t finalized like finally picked what number he really wants to stick with for the remainder of this year the remainder of his career but as of right now he’s wearing number 10 he was doing his placeholder thing looking good doing that like he always does and but just a reminder of the kicking situation shouts out to Ben standig for pointing this out because ahed was an injury replacement to Chris blitt who was a bad character so it is kind of like if he was a bad kicker and you’re the backup to him how good could you really be but this was almost assuredly the start of a try out process that may last all the way into training camp they at least needed someone around this week and next week for some various special teams drills so wait before buying the med Jersey oh that’s literally how Ben standig ended it and that’s the point I brought up in my video breakdown yesterday when we signed was that yesterday or the day before yesterday when we signed it but either the way we I mean right right now he’s just we just need a camp body we just need a kicker just just give me a he didn’t even have to necessarily be good just give me a kicker pretty sure after June 16th once we can finally contact all of those really good UFL kickers we’re probably going to bring in at least one or two of them and I’m not expecting oured to be here by the time we reach training camp but we just needed somebody here for now but who knows maybe he takes full advantage of the opportunity he’s on like a 11-day free trial right now he better make the most of it also moving on Zach SEL be provided the list of all of the players catching kicks during special teams drills you have Casmir Allen of course one of the guys that I was rooting for last year to win our starting kick returner and punt returner spot then you have Emanuel Forbes you have Austin Eckler Dax Mill of course Tyler Owens you have Jan doson again with his Elite agility even though you want to protect him as a receiver he could actually end up being a really good returner for you just based off of athletic traits Austin Jones one of our and drafted free agents Davon Davis one of our de players Mike sver still second round DB so I mean Elite Speed Jeremy McNichols the veteran free agent that we brought in this off season Demir bird same thing veteran free agent white receiver instead though and then also Brian Robinson back there returning some kicks as well and out of that group Tyler Owens is by far the freakiest athlete and he’s done draft the Fraser that I’m rooting for to make the team the most probably only outside of Marcus Rosen Jack Saint because for obvious reasons Georgia Bulldog and all that but outside of that Tyler Owens is easily the unj the fre agent that I’m rooting for to make this team cuz that Elite athleticism you can’t teach that the ridiculously hilling that he has if he can figure it out he’s going to be elite I don’t want to end up cutting him and losing him to another team and then two three years down the line he’s like an all pro safety so do whatever you can to get this man involved if you can find a way to turn him into a great returner for now until he learns how to become a better safety do that and then of course also the most notable guy is Emmanuel Forbes I know y’all heard that name in there and this is now multiple weeks he is practicing as a returner it may be nothing even John K I believe it was said that this may be nothing don’t read too much into it but who knows but I’m going keep y’all updated on this whole Emanuel Forbes as a returner thing and shouts out to my boy Jamal at let Mal tell because he brings up a great Point finding a way to get Playmakers to make plays that’s all it is that’s what it all boils down to don’t overthink what this is as far as Emanuel for’s returning punts right now and taking reps as a returner in practice yall can actually show you the clip right here [Music] and then my boy at let Mell It also says imagine if he beats everyone out y’all will be happy he’s back there and playing cornerback so you never know that that the the commander coaching staff may be cooking something up right here you just never know but again don’t read too much into it until we have any final decisions especially once we got at least wait till training camp you know maybe even wait till preseason or regular season to really know but at least give us till training camp before we start jumping to conclusions as far as that goes we’re trying out a lot of different things and also before we get up out of here one last quote shouts out to my boy disco because he brings up a great point on Twitter it’s still the honeymoon period in Ashburn right now no games have been played we’ve been here before but here’s what’s different in my opinion he said enlist better owner obviously topnotch improving talent evaluators in the front office easily better coaches by far and clear day one starter at quarterback that everyone is United around we can argue and debate about whether Jayden DS is ready to start week one if he was the better choice at second overall over a lot of the other quarterbacks but at the very least this organization is United around Jayden Daniels everybody is a static you saw Adam Peters the way he celebrated you saw the way Dan Quinn even talked about him before we drafted him and then after we drafted him like immediately afterwards some of the pictures that we got from the live draft room where all of the commanders front office and coaching staff were together during the draft still having to go through the draft stuff getting ready for the second round Cliff kingsberry was smiling the biggest I’ve ever seen in any picture ever you can’t even Google a picture of him smiling bigger than that so everybody is unanimously United around Jayden DS and that is a big part of this again we got to see if he’s actually worthy of this united front in this coaching staff for front office but at the very least going into this situation everybody’s on board and we cannot say that for other quarterback situations here you can argue that a lot of the quarterbacks that we’ve had previously have been set up for failure CU not everybody was on board this one everybody’s on board so shouts out to disco for pointing out those facts that yeah we’re all estatic right now maybe it’s just the Ashburn syndrome maybe it’s the honeymoon period but at the same time there are a lot of things that are very different from all of the previous regimes that we’ve had before and I feel like those are definitely the big ones I agree with them right there but yeah man that’s the end of this video please get in the comment section let me know you feel everything discuss in this video please STI on that like button stiff on the subscription button still fing the Bell next to that subscription button so you get notification each and every time I release an informative and opinionated video just like this one make sure you pull up to all of the content again any practice that we get any information like this one I’m going to come out with a video just like this one showing you the clips and breaking down everything position group by position group every single time if I’m not it that means that the commanders may be practicing but they’re not letting anybody see it outside of the players coaches and front office guys anybody that’s directly connected to the franchise and actually working on the franchise on the franchise’s payroll and that’s not even including the media guys so just make sure you stay tuned for all of this of course let me know in the comments section how you feel about everything discuss this video I know we talked about a lot I’m pretty sure by now a lot of y’all forgot about the whole new field thing that Josh Harris has going on right now and even all the way with the quarterback stuff we have so many things to talk about from this video let me know in the comment section what are some of the most notable things that stuck out to you from this video let me know if you agree or disagree with any of my points especially like the Manuel Forbes thing the kicker situation all of that and of course do not leave this 1. You're the only one to say Forbes gainning weight. Everyone else said he looks like one of those kids in the commercial feed a child for a dollar a day

  2. The table keeps them there and you'd be surprised the conversations that happen around it. Used to have one in the Army and it helped us a lot to get through the stress and bond. Plus, we would get competitive and then go hit weights afterwards and talk tactics and upcoming missions. It's more than just a place to mess around. Scouts Out! Rangers Lead the Way.

  3. It's sad when most high schools havs nicer fields than an NFL teams practice field that is in use more than the home field. Way to go Harris Group

  4. Rico I don't know if it was said or not but Detroit's OC Ben Johnson said that Washington's ownership group is a basketball ownership group trying to run a NFL football team, I mean who in the heck is he I'm really getting tired of the Detroit Lions they're getting too cocky ๐Ÿ’ฏ

  5. Practice? Practice? You're talking about practice? Means absolutely ZERO!! Notta! Nothing! Anybody look good with no heat!! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  6. Your youtube OTA analysis is competitive with Kiem PLUS you have clips and graphics and he almost never does this. The "let's get it" intro clip needs to be updated or omitted. You are hitting a good stride as a host.

  7. The first time I heard someone call Tyler, Tyler Badass was B. Mitch during the draft coverage. I knew it was gonna stick after that ๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. I think what impresses me the most is how calculated and thought out every move this organization makes. No rush no fear. Just well thought out moves with an eye on the future as well as a pulse on the present

  9. I'm not too worried about the red zone struggles rn. With no threat of the run it's easy for the defense to sit on routes with limited space to work with. I'd more more concerned with the defense if they were struggling under those circumstances

  10. Please, for the love of God, add Chapter Breaksโ€ผ๏ธ All the serious Content Creators already have them and use them, especially if they talk about a List of Things.
I already know that talking about players and Constantly Hyping them up is a Serious Issue that canโ€™t be stopped or even slowed down, which is why most want to find the area/subject theyโ€™re interested in and then finish. Words like Elite, All Pro, Pro Bowler, MVP, and Blank of the Year belong to Players that have already earned it or are close to getting it in the Regular Season(Conversations on tv get started). If theyโ€™re Rookies or 2nd/3rd year players,(just put that theyโ€™re Potential ___ to soften the blow a little) calling them one of the titles is an insult to the Players that earned them. In other words, get proof they have shown that they are on the List to earning it during the Regular Season. An example: Do they have close to 15+ Sacks? Do they have close to 12+ TDs? How about 1500+ yards receiving? 38 Total TDs in the Regular Season? Thereโ€™s nothing wrong with saying a player looks really good, fast, athletic, smart, tall, strong, etc. The pads have yet to come on and the OLine is the most important group to have right. No one wants weak links on their OLine. Everyone knows that Sacks on almost every play can ruin any gameplan or the mind/body of a QB. Always follow the players on the OLine. Do they train with the best professionals whenever they are done with OTAs, Mini Camp, etc? Thatโ€™s how you know that they are fighting & improving to be permanent Starters. You always want your OLine constantly training with On-Field Coaches and Off-Field Coaches. Thatโ€™s how most become Potential Pro Bowlers and more. Hope everyone has a nice day.
Fun Fact: I remember that the Tyler Biadasz nickname was used a lot in the beginning with Dallas because many didnโ€™t know how to pronounce his last name. Bee-AH-dish Then the nickname faded away because everyone learned his last name during his time with the Cowboys.
I always love to see a kid have his dreams come true with Make-A-Wish, especially NFL Football Dreams. ๐Ÿˆ

  11. I'm just amazed how fast the ball is delivered by JD. He makes it look effortless, and defenders will have a hard time with that. Add the fact the receivers seem to have no problem catching the ball, and I think the passing game is much better.
