If he is not into it mentally I cant blame him. I know we get some needed cap relief from this. I know he has off the field issues. Wishing him the best in retirement. Sucks he did not work out for us.
RIP. There goes our supposed steal of a trade. We traded one player who didn’t see the field for another.
Oh well, at least we got nabers
Damn, anyways
…to focus on his music career.
Can’t wait to see a thousand “what playing with Daniel Jones for one season does” comments
How does this affect the cap

Good luck in retirement.
Let’s hope he stays strong in his fight despite his professional and personal life going through huge changes
Damn Kelsey Plum really fucked him up
Schoen master class trade /s
Trading away Toney was the best thing that happened in this whole thing. Sucks it didn’t work out with Waller.
What a disappointment
Best of luck to him. I was a big Waller fan because of his story before he came to the Giants, so I hope he can stay grounded in retirement.
That said, not to be cold but chances we can flip these savings for Gilmore? We got camp in a month lol
Good riddance. He’s washed and our other TEs are really good and ready to produce
Best wishes and health for retirement. But man, what a waste of a trade
Led TEs in receiving yards up to his injury. Would have been fun to have him another season
Daniel bellinger redemption szn
✌️
It would have been nearly impossible for him to be worth that $ had he played. O line and/or corner depth instead works for me.
Not surprised, but kind of sucks we gave up a 3rd rounder for 1 year with him.
Best move for both sides. He’s clearly dealing with shit. I wish him well, and hope he gets the help he needs.
He clearly has other things going on in life I think it’s the best decision for himself and the team tbh. Hopefully they can turn that cap space into quality veteran depth. Good luck Waller 🫡
The people complaining here don’t surprise me. They don’t understand that this is a net positive for us in cap and team chemistry.
Well alright then.
I’d like to congratulate Darren Waller for a great career. He overcame personal adversity, grew as a football player and at one point was an Elite performer at his position. He got a big bag too!
Great job. Wish we got some of that performance magic with the NYG, but it was a good try by the GM. I think that his hamstring was blown up. Permanent damage. It was an unending pulled hammy. So he could play, but he’s probably lost that snap to his hips and legs. Happens early in an NFL players career. The sport is brutal and violent.
These raider fans in the NFL sub talking like they fleeced the giants… it was a third round pick lol
Thank you, Darren Waller, for the 2023 training camp that convinced us all we were going to be an offensive juggernaut
Cool, this is done at last. Let’s immediately move on. This is almost zero loss… he did nothing for us last year.
Next topic please.
Hell yeah now we have cap room to bring Golladay back
The Giants and former stars from other teams that fall off a cliff after signing a contract, name a more iconic duo.
I hope he takes care of himself and gets better. I wish him nothing but the best.
