🚨WSH MAJOR Front Office Moves Today! EUGENE SHEN GONE! Doug Williams Promotion! All Changes & Roles😳

all right what’s happing y but Rico from Street scores and man the Washington commanders came out of nowhere with these major front office moves today these updates that are coming out today crazy like this is not just some simple little maybe like a promotion here and there these were some major front office moves it finally feels like for the first time we have somewhat of like a final draft of what the front office is going to look like going into the 2024 season and it’s crazy cuz I was literally getting ready to do a Ric report to give y’all like a bunch of random different news and information and things like that I guess I’ll postpone that to either tonight or tomorrow but either the way I was working on that and then this news cames out of nowhere and it’s so major in my personal opinion that I stopped the whole R report that I was working on and we had to transition to this first of all my dog Eugene Shin is gone we have so many changes in promotions we have notable updated titles roles and responsibilities now it’s crazy and then there were also just a few more hires there were some people that were not hired yet and then with all of this slew of information that came out at once they also just threw that in there as well welcome to the team type of thing so before we dive into all of that especially my boy Eugene Shin being gone you know what I’m saying make sure you s on that like button STI F the subscription button s f the Bell next to that subscription button so you get notification each and every time I release an informative and Optive video just like this one make sure you stay tuned for all the content man I really appreciate y’all for staying tuned y’all supported that last video on the Brandon iuk situation really well there’s all kinds of Brandon iuk situ stuff going on right now which is crazy so I’m probably going to update y’all on that maybe tomorrow or the day after that because we have even more Brandon nuk news now apparently he’s upset with the 49ers so I’m going to do a deep dive into that and how the Washington commanders actually like declined a trade for the 49ers and it’s crazy but either the way stay tuned for more content I’m going to keep yall updated on that I’m going to keep youall updated with everything Washington commanders again just like how today while we’re discussing the front office if we sign anybody anything like that I have y’all updated I’m working on rookie film sessions and things like that so this is your One-Stop shop for everything commanders daily content without further Ado let’s go ahead and dive into this video Let’s Get It Adam Adam [Music] all right so Nikki javala tweeted Eugene Shin who joined the commanders in October as their SVP of football strategy is transitioning out from the team a source confirmed that was the first thing I saw too before I even knew that there were all of these other moves on the way the first thing I saw was Eugene Shin is basically leaving the commanders that was it and then like as time went by they went ahead and just threw out a whole bunch of other pile of news as well with all kinds of promotions and changes and roles and things like that but just let’s stick with Eugene shin and Brandon sna and how they’re related to each other so a statement from the commander spokes personman on Eugene Shin quote after successfully supporting the transition to new ownership last off season Eugene Shin will be transitioning out of the Washington commanders organization but he is currently in discussions to support the HBS initiatives and first of all not my dog Shin man y’all know I’ve been one of the biggest supporters of us bringing in Eugene Shin I feel like he’s a genius I feel like his resume speaks for itself and how he helped transformed and and and take the Dolphins to a bad franchise to a great win the the the Ravens and how good good they are especially in the analytics department and even the Jacksonville Jaguars with their turnaround from one of the Laughing stocks in the NFL to one of the better franchises recently as well he played a large role in those things I’m not giving him all of the credit for it of course but he played a large role the even admitted a couple of years ago that even though Eugene shin has been gone for a few years they still use his analytical models to make a lot of their decisions and things like that so Eugene Shin is just one of those guys I was very happy about joining the commanders and things like that but at the end of the day we went and found somebody that’s even better than Eugene Shin we’re going to get to that soon but JP Finley tweeted Source tells me Eugene Shin leaving the commanders and new SVP football Ops Brandon sna will lead analytics with Adam Peters sounds like shin could land similar analytic role in other Josh Harris group goly I mean it I’m struggling to read this tweet it’s missing a lot let me let’s take this back sounds like Eugene Shin could land in a similar analytical role in another Josh Harris group HBS I tried my best to kind of revise that as I went along JP Finley I tried all parties on good terms Commander spokesperson St below which is what I already read to you again so my main thing is to take away from this is that the commander still want Eugene Shen around well at least on the Josh Harris side of things Josh Harris David Blitz are still want them around because they want him to potentially transition from helping the commanders to helping their HBS organization what is that that’s the Harris Blitzer sports and entertainment Network basically business whatever you want to call it it is an American Sports and venue management company founded by investors Josh Harris and David Blitzer in September of 2017 hbse owns and operates the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association and the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League NHL as well as other properties such as Minor League affiliates the credential Center and the Esports organization the Dig ntis dignitas I I have no idea how to pronounce that I’m not going to lie hbsc also holds a minority Stak in the NASCAR team Joe Gibbs Racing so you see that connection there as well back to Joe Gibbs back to the commanders all come in Full Circle the company is headed in Camden New Jersey and was valued at 11.86 billion in 2024 and if you’re wondering why it’s a Philadelphia team that they’re managing both of them the Sixers and the Devils but they’re based in Camden for those of y’all who may not know Camden is like right there to Philadelphia so it makes sense when you hear Camden New Jersey and you just hear New Jersey you don’t know where Camden is in New Jersey it’s not like Newark or anything like that that’s closer to New York it’s actually like right there next to Philly so that makes sense not you know not a really important detail but just something to give y’all just off the top of my head reading that and so continuing on Brandon sna the Commander’s SVP of football operations will oversee analytics and work with Adam Peters on building out that department specifically and Nikki javala brings up a great point and I completely agree it always seemed uh that the Commanders a head of analytics before hiring new general manager Adam Peters hiring a head of analytics before you hire a general manager is really weird cuz typically the general manager would want to hire his own analytics people including the guy that’s the head of the analytics Department in Eugene Shen so that was always a weird situation once we hired Adam Peters I I already knew like man Eugene Shen is probably on the clock I was hoping that they could find a way to coexist and they did for a while but then once once we brought in Brandon s a few weeks ago that was pretty much wraps for Eugene Shen that was pretty much the end of the road the end of the line for him man and so going off of the Hogs Haven article just to do like a slightly deeper dive shouts out to Scott Jennings for this he said new senior vice president of football operations Brandon sna will be working with Peters to continue to bring Washington’s analytics Department up to current standards for an NFL team because we were way behind in the Stone Age prehistoric when it came to the analytics Department before Josh Harris got here it hasn’t even been a full year yet which is actually really crazy how many changes have happened since he’s gotten here it feels like he’s been here forever but it hasn’t even been a full year yet but either way something that wasn’t considered a priority under previous owner Dan Snider I mean we were literally prehistoric Ron Rivera already wasn’t like a very analytics person based person but Dan Snider made it even worse he didn’t care about analytics at all no real initiative to increase the analytics Department of this organization you got to do that in the modern NFL times you have to either you’re ahead or you’re behind there’s no in between and D Snider definitely had us behind for forever and continuing with the article Josh Harris is a big proponent of analytics and sports and will invest in them for his newest franchise like he has done with his previous ones and as you’ve seen we’ve arguably put together one of the best analytics departments out of the entire NFL within just a few months span which is actually really crazy I mean to be able to get Brandon sna is amazing in itself but let’s just back up a little bit with this really tells me is one they really want to keep both around cuz again they want to keep Eugene Shin but kind of instead of him staying with the commanders let him help us with the 76ers and the devil clearly Josh Harris really likes this guy really likes the work that he’s done since he’s been here for just a few months and is like well if we can’t have you on the command is because Brandon s is coming in which we’re about to get to I at least want you to help me with my other franchises where we don’t have a Brandon sna over there pretty much spreading out as elbows and taking up space and consuming other people’s jobs because he’s just so great such a genius that he can do multiple things at once instead of having to pay multiple guys to do different things you can just pay Brandon SAA to do all of it together actually really incredible but back to my point they seem the want to keep both around but at the even at the end of the day even as much as I love you jeene Shin if you have to choose between the two you pick Brandon SAA I’m telling you he’s like the big Prodigy of Sports Front offices right now like the Shawn McVey of football front offices but probably even more potential like this is the guy that not only is the cat space and contract design wizard as he showed with this time with the Detroit Lions for a little while but he’s also the guy that somehow got Lincoln Riley to leave Oklahoma for USC that was him and he’s also the guy that facilitated somehow he’s the one that led this whole thing getting USC into the Big 10 which will now take place walking into this 2024 season in college football and just to let you know he did did all of that before even turning 31 years old which is what he is as of today I mean he’s literally the chosen one when it comes to the front office situation I can’t hype up Brandon sna enough I really don’t know how to put it in the words how much fans should be excited about the fact that we have this guy in our front office again I literally feel like he’s the Shawn McVey of front office guys we’re probably even a higher ceiling I’m telling you I still have no idea how we were able to convince a guy like that to come here while Adam Peters is already here and is already the clear leader and king of this organization outside of the business side don’t nothing move without Adam peters’s approval anything outside of the business side as far as stadium and things like that not nothing is moving no motion is going on unless Adam Peters approves of it nobody gets hired nobody gets signed in free agency nobody gets drafted without Adam Peters saying so so it still amazes me with how much potential Brandon sna has that he even decided to come here instead of running his own show somewhere else cuz he definitely has the makings of an elite general manager on the way I know he’s only 31 but there’s still no way that there isn’t at least one team out there out of the other 31 teams that is out there trying to hire him as a GM in this upcoming 2025 off season so I’m surprised he didn’t just stay with the Lions and the role that he had it’s not it’s nowhere near as big of a role that he has here so he went for the bigger role for the commanders immediately but he could have just stuck with the Lions for maybe like another year or two in that role and then definitely could have gotten some GM offers immediately after that by like 2025 as soon as that or maybe even 2026 so again I don’t know how we convinced them to do it I guess by giving him more responsibilities and more opportunities to show what he can do I guess maybe we will only be able to convince him but I only giv him several roles and responsibilities to keep him busy and to give him as many opportunities as possible to strengthen his man his track record but then you also move Eugene Shin out of the way for him as well and it seems like from my point of view that was probably one of the ways that they were able to convince Brandon saon to come here because on top of entering his first season as the senior vice president of football operations with his role as senior vice president of football operations salna will be the club’s lead contract negotiator overseer of a number of football operations departments including analytics which is why Eugene Shin is gone health and performance which is Tim McGrath’s area and and football Administration and will be one of the club’s liaison to the business operation as well he will also play a major role in strategy around roster construction so he’ll be doing some general managing as well as like as far as like the draft and free agency and things like that and he’ll also be the main guy when it comes to the salary cap and abiding by CBA laws and sna will report directly to Washington Commander general manager Adam Peters so on top of already having all of that that I just gave you directly from the Washington Commander site he will also now be having the whole analytic side to himself I thought he was going to be a part of the analytic side and work alongside Eugene Shin maybe even though again after we hired Brandon sa I was like man Eugene Shin I don’t know how much longer you’ll stick around but maybe you can keep Brandon SAA busy with all of the other parts of the organization that he has to worry about and then maybe he’ll only dible and Dabble a little bit in the analytics side nope Eugene Shin had to go now he’s taking over the entire Analytics Department that is his thing that is his baby on top of being the cap space guy on top of helping with Health Management and things like that on top of like football decisions General managing with draft and free agency I mean this guy’s literally a general manager almost that’s what it sounds like it sounds like he’s doing even more things than Adam Peters is it’s crazy and it’s even more crazy that we have an assistant general manager already here and Lance Newark before we signed Brandon sna but then now Brandon sna came in and immediately surpassed Lance Newark in the chain of command and they’re both coming from Detroit at the same time as well which is pretty incredible we couldn’t get Ben Johnson but we got Lance Newark and Brandon sner if I had to pick between the two I would definitely pick what we ended up with I prefer Brandon sner as our front office guy over Ben Johnson as our head coach easily right now easily without a doubt and it’s probably if you’re thinking about the chain of command Adam Peters then Brandon sna then Lance Newark at this point Lance Newark is the assistant general man manager and he’s still third in the chain of command at best at the very highest and maybe that level of power and having his hands and that many parts of the Commander’s organization is enough to keep him happy for a while at least hopefully for a while I’m hoping that it keeps them happy for a while cuz I’m really afraid of him leaving I’m very high on him and I’m already dreading to day that sometime in the future maybe it’s a few years from now hopefully it’s no time soon but I can just Envision like Adam Peters rising to be one of being one of the best general managers out of the entire NFL he’s already starting to show flashes and sign of it already but like give him a few years to really have that track record and resume to really like we can prove it we can say it with our chess Adam Peters is arguably the best general manager in football give it a few years but my vision is and what I’m afraid of is that while Adam Peters is one of the best GMS in NFL arguably the best general manager in the NFL I could see Brandon sna turning into his arch rival going from his former right-hand man to the guy that he’s competing with against for free agents and draft picks and things like that I mean I’m really afraid of like three to five years from now Brandon sna is on some other team killing it I know I’m thinking way too far in the future right now but I’m telling you Brandon sna was only second to the Adam Peters hire out of all of the moves that the commanders have made this entire offseason trust me like drafting jayen Daniels is probably right up there as well as far as like the top three biggest things we did this entire off season I mean I guess you can maybe throw fire and Ron Rivera in there but I wouldn’t even put fire and Ron Rivera in the top three I would think hiring Dan Quinn as a head coach Cliff kingsberry as defensive coordinator Joe Wi Jr as defensive coordinator and like guys like Ken Norton Jr as your linebacker coach and stuff like that Anthony Lynn is your run game coordinator those are great but they’re not on the level of those other hires Adam Peters Brandon SAA and drafted Jayden janiels none of our free agency signing are on that level either and I’m very high on our free agency signings but I’m telling you that’s just on a different tier of itself so again even with as good as Eugene Shin’s resume was you got to do what you got to do to hire and keep Brandon sna around this is a highly valuable commodity here I’m telling you right now hear me now believe me later and remember Eugene shim was one of the very first Josh Harris hires too which was pretty interesting all the way back in October not only before we hired Adam Peters like I already pointed out earlier but before we even fired Ron Rivera Eugene was already in the building Josh Harris wanted him that bad he wanted him to help with the whole process of firing rera finding the new GM finding a new head coach and things like that but again we went way off track talking about Brandon sner for so long but my first point was the main point was is that Josh Harris must really like Eugene Shin as well even though he’s leaving the commanders the fact that he’s leaving the commanders specifically but not Josh Harris like I pointed out earlier he’s just potentially it’s not finalized yet but he’s just moving to their separate side business that where they managed the 76ers and the Devils instead of where he was with the commander so my point is they want Brandon sna more and with good reason like I’ve already explained but they still want to keep Eugene Shin around in some capacity just maybe not on the commander football side of things Adam Peters already has his Prodigy in Brandon sner so he’s just being basically relocated to probably appease Brandon sner and let him take as much on his plate as he can and as much as he wants on the commander side and then Ben standig even wrote about this a little while ago in an article on the athletic basically predicting that Eugene Shin would have to leave the commanders eventually because of the S nire Ben standig tweeted earlier today wrote about the analytics Department future last week when the initial Buzz of Shin’s potential departure surfaced Adam Peters made changes in all departments except analytics Shin was hired by Peters however Brandon saa’s responsibilities included Analytics so you can kind of see the writing on the wall then he tweeted from last week’s story and why the shin fit felt odd with with Adam Peters and then especially where Brandon sner is hire if you’re looking at the article he said in his article anytime I see things that might give us an edge we try to take advantage them Harris said at March NFL’s owners meeting the shin hire was exactly that unquote now along with Shin who has not been made available for the media since his hiring four other football analytics and data solution staffers also predate Peters Peters said quote they were really instrumental in our draft process being in our draft room for our meetings then in football Solutions our developers we’ve asked a lot of them in terms of changing our database a little bit and they’ve been up to it and they’ve been on top of it unquote but then the article goes on to say one interesting wrinkle occurred in May with the hiring of SAA a 31-year-old Wonker kid with an impressive resume headline by stops in the Detroit Lions front office and USC’s athletic department in the announcement about s’s hiring and the above mentioned responsibilities he will oversee several football operations departments including analytics and play a major role in strategy around roster construction and that’s literally that last like couple of seconds was literally what Eugene Shin was brought here to do the only thing that you can say and this is away from the article now this is Rico of Street score speaking the only thing that Eugene Shin had on his plate that maybe Brandon Solon does not have is the analytics part of like what do we do on the field like going forward on fourth and one and things like that do we call a timeout here do we challenge this play what’s the percentage and chance of if we go if we throw the ball on Third and 10 and to try to make a fourth and fourth down more reasonable things like that I haven’t heard anything as far as like Brandon Sala have anything to do with the analytics as far as ingame decision-making goes but every other responsibility that Eugene Shin was brought in to have they literally gave that to Brandon s so it just made too much sense for brand and Salman to end up leaving and I think Dave gardy the way that when we hired him I feel like the parts of Eugene Shin’s job that Brandon sna does not have Dave guardy got brought in from the NFL league office to potentially do those things when I saw that he was hired I was like okay that’s kind of stepping on the toes of Eugene Shin on that side Brandon sna stepping on Eugene Eugene Shin’s toes from the other side it’s kind of weird that Eugene Shen is still here but I didn’t want to speak into existence I was just like maybe if I don’t talk about it they won’t think about it that maybe Eugene Shin can stick around for a little while longer and have his opinion or two included in things but now it just seems too obvious Dave Guardia is taking over one of his responsibilities one of his major responsibilities Brandon sna has the rest there’s literally no reason to keep a Eugene Shin around at least on the commander side of things but again such a smart guy such a i me his resume speaks for itself so you can see as the why Josh haris even though Adam Peters wants to get rid of Eugene Shin because he already has his guys and Dave gardy and Brandon sner to do what Eugene Shin was supposed to do you can see why Josh Harris because it’s not a Josh Harris thing to get rid of Eugene Shin that is Josh Harris giving Adam Peters the keys to the FR if there were ever an example of Josh Harris is actually really giving Adam Peters the keys keys to this franchise he’s the one making the decisions not Josh Harris is this CU Josh Harris loves Eugene shin and you can tell by the fact that he’s trying to hire Eugene Shin now for his other sports franchises because Adam Peters doesn’t want him here with his new baby the commanders now JP Finley also brings up a good point folks concerned about Eugene Shin’s departure of missing the boat he was brought in to help Harris see whether the commanders were or were not analytically then Harris hired Peters and sna to build out the organization Shin helped them get from point A to point B and will likely keep working for Harris in a different role in a different location which is a good point Shin basically got us from out the gutters got us from out the mud to like a respectable analytics department now Adam Peters and Dave gardy and Brandon sna are like okay appreciate what you did Eugene Shin we’ll take it from here basically type of thing and then also my boy OB Von on Twitter he’s always tweeting a lot of commanders things he’s a great follow anytime like anybody on ESPN is talking about the commanders and things like that he’s like the guy that would normally tweet like the video clip and things like that and he replied to that JP Finley tweet I just gave you and he said quote not concerned I just wish he was kept because he seem super smart unquote and that’s literally how I feel about it I’m not concerned about this at all I feel like Dave G is elad at what he does Brandon sna we’ve probably never seen a guy as good as what he does doing it at the NFL level I mean I’m telling you literally a higher selling sha McVey at front office members and so we’re in great hands I’m not worried about that I was just hoping that Eugene Shin with how smart he is and with this proven track record that we could have kept him in some capacity some way shape or form but we won’t be able to do it it’s all good we’re in great hands that’s all that matters at the end of the day I miss Eugene Shin already but but it’s not like we need him cuz we got Brandon sner we have Lance Newark we have Dave gardy and Adam Peters running the whole show but now what about the rest of the hires because yes us trading out Eugene Shin from Brandon sna was a big thing but it was not the only major thing that happened yeah it was the biggest thing that happened today that was announced but that doesn’t mean that it was the only significant move that happened today so now let’s talk about it going from the Adam Chef the Tweet himself Washington commits made a serious of moves with their football personnel and support staff Doug Williams moved back to the front office as a senior advisor to the GM to Adam Peters Chris White who previously served as the assistant director of pro scouting shifted to Washington’s director of pro scouting so he’s running that whole thing former Falcons assistant director of college scouting Dwayne Jones who I talked about a couple of months ago when we hired him his officially been named the team’s New National scouts or at least one of the team’s National Scouts then you also as far as like some of the most notable changes and we’re going to really dive into it I’m going to give you like the final draft of what everybody everybody’s role is what the title is and things like that you have Cody kesa I hope that’s how you pronounced that that’s the director of process Innovation never heard of that role before so when they say that they’re really trying to innovate and and basically trailblaze a new a new road and be the leader and analytics like we’re trying to do things that other teams aren’t doing we’re trying to trailblaze we’re trying to to be unprecedented things that other teams have never done never thought to do now we’ve hired a director of process Innovation that’s very specific but very interesting I can’t wait to see exactly how they contribute to this organization’s success but that just goes to show with the the vision that Adam Peters and Brandon s the have for this team they made up a role that I’m pretty sure probably no other team in the NFL has again director of process Innovation very interesting and then you also have Rob Rogers who sticking around now he’s your vice president of football Administration and then Shan de barbar barbarie I hope that’s how you pronounced that I’m going work on these names I’m working on it he’s now your VP of football Communications and then Marty hery still somehow sticking around he remains listed on the team website as a scouting Department advisor the senior Personnel executive under Ron Rivera and former Panthers GM transitioned out of an executive role shortly after the hiring of Adam Peters but somehow even though he doesn’t have any major role he’s just kind of sticking around and they’re just giving him the advisor title but I don’t think he has much to do with the decisions we make I don’t even remember hear in those videos those that that long video clip that we got of like us drafting the entire rookie class the behind the scenes of the calls and trades that Adam Peters were making Dan Quinn Josh Harris giving their opinions and everything like that you even saw Martin Mayu in there having some sort of an influence on a voice I don’t remember seeing Marty hery there so it’s just interesting that he’s still just sticking around as like an advisor they went and did this Clean Sweep like okay we’ve made these changes like every couple of weeks so far this off season and then this was like the final sweep to get up any last little crumbs unnecessary baggage that we have and he still even survived that so that’s interesting and those are some of the most notable changes that went down today but those were not the only changes as you can see on your screen right now here are all the changes that just went down just literally today that they announced and again I’m going to be repeating myself with some of these like I’ve already given you cuz tried to give yall some of the most notable ones that stuck out the most to me but maybe some of these y’all are more interested in so you have Doug Williams who’s now your senior advisor to the general manager so he basically got a promotion and now he’s basically kind of like helping Adam Peters directly then you have Chris White who’s now your director of pro Scout and that was a promotion you have Sarah Zabo now is is the assistant to the general manager we have a lot of people helping Adam Peters crazy then you got Dwayne Jones National Scout like we already talked about you have Jack quag GTO I hope that’s how you pronounce that Pro Scout Dustin Reagan College Scout and then Charles bringer Alberto DEA Guardia and Mitch sterer and Miles Turner are now scouting assistants so now they changed their whole scouting Department again like I talked about a few weeks ago I believe and even before the draft it’s typical that when the GM gets hired early in the offseason like say February he’s going to keep the previous regime’s Scouts because they put in all of that time and work film study going to Flying to these different places to watch these players play in person and things like that going to live games and then helping with the whole draft process when when we do team visits when teams have their Pro days and things like that why would you just throw all of that work away so they let them survive all the way through the draft we use them and and they help us through the draft and all of that type of stuff and then after the draft you start to purge the previous regime scouting department and bring in the guys that you want and so now that’s officially like a lot of what we did today we went ahead and pretty much finalized our scouting Department this is now the Adam Peters scouting Department then you also have Rob Rogers who now is the vice president of football Administration you have Shan whose name I still can’t exactly pronounce that’s the vice president of the football Communications you have Dylan Thompson the senior director of Team support and advancement you have Cody Kia who we already talked about earlier now your director of process Innovation interesting then you have Brooks s santanello that’s your director video operations you have Doug Drury who’s your manager of football research and development you have Alexis doson your coordinator of player and family support shouts out to that yes sir no longer being dead last in the top free agency destinations the NFL survey that’s done by the NFL PA where they ask literally every player in the NFL their opinions and ranking different teams we’ve come up did last two years in a row now now we’ve hired Alexis doson to at least help with the the player and family support department because one of the aspects that we had a really low grade in I believe we had the worst grade in the NFL or at least one of the worst was how we treated not only the players but the players families and things like that so shouts out to that we’re being very Innovative there we’re not playing then you have Travis ho who’s a coach coaching analyst you have Connor Connor Nicole also a coaching analyst then you have Gerard carrier manager of football Communications you have Samantha fristachi who’s your football Communications coordinator Matt Peterson your football operation coordinator and Cyrus Daniels your football operations assistant so again a lot of changes today all everything that I just read read to you and everything that you just saw on your screen for the past few minutes all of those changes were updated today now of course we didn’t just go and hire everybody today but all of these were officially announced today all at the same time that is incredible man we had a truly adventurous offseason I mean even just starting back to fire and Ron rera as soon as our season ended to Bob Meyers and Rick Spielman to help with our general manager search and then just from there on it’s just been thing after we don’t go a month without some crazy interesting news I mean every several weeks it seems like some major changes are happening I’m loving what’s going on but like I’ve told y’all in another video before y’all better enjoy and cherish this now because hopefully we don’t have another offseason this eventful where we’re making this many hires and firings and changes and promotions and things like that I mean every offseason there there’s going to be changes but it’s never going to be as much of a Renaissance As we had this off season so cherish this moment I you know I will I’m a big front office guy I’m more of like a general manager than anything else I care I I’m just one of those people I’m weird I care more about what happens in the offseason than what actually even happens in the regular season now y’all love y’all know I love my ex’s and O’s I love my football film sessions all 22 and things like that all of the coaching stuff as well but I’m really truly like the general manager guy so right now this is my favorite offseason of my entire lifetime of being a commanders fan cuz not only just the the quality of guys that we brought in I mean that was just ridiculous that already sold me and that already had this being the best offseason I’ve ever seen my Brak and go have in my lifetime but then on the the quantity as well I’m not expecting this level of quantity ever again in my lifetime hopefully cuz we hope that we would never have to make that many changes in off season hopefully a lot of the guys that we brought in we do such a great job they stay or whatever now of course some people like like our told y’all earlier I’m afraid of some guys like Brandon sna moving on to go somewhere else to gain more power to have his own baby to be his own general manager somewhere else that’s going to happen maybe some of our positional coaches that get a better opportunity to become like an offensive coordinator defensive coordinator or even a head coach somewhere else that’s going to happen if you’re winning that’s just kind of like the results of winning that’s just that’s one of the consequences you win but you people are going to try to poach your coaching staff in your front office because you’re winning I mean that’s what we just did the teams this offseason we took people from the Ravens we took people from all over the place the Texans all all kinds of stuff so it it happens but I I as much fun as I had this offseason and this was the most fun off season I’ve ever experienced as a bergundy and go fan in my lifetime we should hope that we never have an offseason this eventful again so again cherish this because this will probably hopefully won’t happen again for at least a long time and just to remind you Dylan Thompson who’s now being hired as the well like officially his title is senior director of Team support and advancement that’s the guy that we stole from the Houston Texans who was the director of Player Development that had glowing reviews from like from CJ stra Will Anderson a lot of their players tank Dell a lot of them say that they probably wouldn’t be where they are right now without him that’s the type of guy we just brought over from the Houston Texans so I kind of I announced the fact that he got his promotion Got His official title but I felt like I needed to really dive back just in case if you didn’t see that video from like a week ago two week ago or if you forgot Dylan Thompson the guy that is now our senior director of Team support and advancement was the guy for the Houston Texans that all of the players love they felt like no matter what happened that was the one guy they could talk to type of guy so again the way that they’re building this team this off season just finding the best of the best at what they do specifically we even found like one of the best player like like like a supervisor like a chaperon like the guy their therapist type type of guy type of thing the guy that they trust in to tell the 100% truth to no matter what we brought that guy in from the Texans like they’ve done everything that they can to get the best at what they do I absolutely love it and so maybe in another video I’ll do like a full top to bottom breakdown of this entire front office not only what changes happen today cuz all of those names again I gave you were just today how about this entire offseason maybe I’ll do that that video will probably end up being an hour long because maybe even longer cuz I wanted do like a full breakdown of who everybody is where they came from and what they exactly do for the commanders and how they coincide like if we’re talking about draft who are the several people involved with draft decisions if we’re talking about contracts in cap space who are the several people involved in that cuz it’s not just one guy there may be one guy leading it that like is the final decision maker but a lot of people have their hands in a lot of different things when it comes to things kind of like a checks and balances situation here which I love the way the way this front office is set up but at the end of the day Adam Peters is kind of like the Monarch with the checks and balances under him I feel like this is the perfect way to set up a front office I’m so happy I hated how we had it with Bruce Allen and those guys but either of the way probably going to do like a whole video breakdown explaining exactly how everybody coincides with each other who does what who collaborates on certain things all of those type of things so make sure you stay tuned for all of that but that’s the end of this video let me know in the comment section how you feel about everything discussed in this video please STi for that like button still F that subscription button and still F the Bell next to the subscription button so you get notification each and every time I release an informative and opin video just like this one man I really appreciate y’all if you made it all the way to the end of this video you are a real one I salute you big appreciate that do not leave this video without leaving a like and again like I keep saying I’m working on it I’ve just been super busy but I’m trying to read and reply to as many comments as I can so I will just eventually one of these days sometime hopefully this week I’m able to just sit down and literally just put aside like a few hours to try to read and reply to as many comments as I can going back several videos so of course let me know in the comments section how you feel about everything discussing this video about the Eugene Shin departure the Brandon sna spreading out his elbows Dave gardy being involved and of course all of the changes that went down today with a lot of people getting promotions especially like Doug Williams definitely got a promotion seemed like under Ron Rivera Doug Williams is getting demoted slightly demoted slightly and it was kind of like I don’t know if y’all seen the office or no not the office office Space the movie from way back when when they when the uh when they kept rapping uh Scarface and stuff like that in the in the I I love that movie that’s one of the funniest movies to me where they just kept basically moving the guy from place to place and then eventually like he just really didn’t have anything to do they just didn’t know exactly how to fire him that’s kind of how they were treating Doug Williams for a certain extent and so now under Adam Peters Doug Williams is finally getting the respect that he deserves and now he actually has a real role he even got a promotion and an official title in Rolland responsibility under ad Peters so again a lot of I should have talked about this in the actual video instead of the outro but either the way let me know how you feel about everything discuss this video especially things like that and I really appreciate y’all I’m going catch y’all later I’m out [Applause] [Music] that’s right [Music]

  1. It seems to me that this was planned even before AP was hired. Harris wanted Shin to do what he did and transition it in just this way. Probably discussions on bringing Sosna happening way back when or before Newmark came. They needed to get the ship turned and get through the draft, and the transition in the off season July down time makes sense. Just a guess.

  2. Not sure if you would cover this Rico. The Sunday Ticket news…NFL is in court. When the direct TV contract expired ESPN wanted to take over Sunday Ticket and make it $70 a season and even less for a single team package. NFL went with YouTube and made the package even more expensive than before. That's part of the story.

  3. 👀👀👀👀👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤳…info on 1000! Ricco just separated himself from everyone in diss business. Fire bro

  4. You know what. You said one thing here that moved me from absolutely not on Brandon Aiyuk to this needs to happen this off season. If we can possibly loose Brandon Sosna then we need to act like it now.

  5. Icve been a football fan for 55yrs now & when I was your age, you might have been called a "stat geek", but we have to learn to change with the times. I thought I knew a lot about football, but you've been schooling me on several parts of the front office I never had a clue about, or that just didn't exist, back when Beathard & Gibbs always seemed to work personnel magic. I may still disagree with some of the talent evaluations, due to good ol' gut feelings, but I also understand that this franchise is apparently on the verge of becoming a trailblazing operation. It just seemsc so unthinkable, that Snyder could allow his front office to fall so far behind other franchises, but definitely not unbelievable, for a lazy little crook. Keep up the great content, so I can continue to learn more about today's "complete" game. Peterson doing the right thing for one of our own in the front office, will certainly go a long way in making him more popular with the older fans like me. But ultimately, he needs to win.

  6. Good move to keep Chen in the organization. If the Commanders have success, B Saucner will get hired elsewhere and Chen can step in.
