2024 NHL Draft Selections: Anthony Romani (162nd Overall, Vancouver Canucks)
great yeah it’s a great experience and I’m just super super excited to be a part of the canx and super excited to get started yeah I mean it’s it’s nerve-racking but I think um just trying to soak it all in and um yeah like I said I’m excited to get started yeah I mean I’ve talked to them a couple times and uh great things um I mean yeah a great organization and looking forward to to talking to them more and to uh have Dev camp tomorrow so or flying out tomorrow so I’m excited to get started and see the city who’s here with you now celebrating yeah I mean I have a bunch of family and friends here so uh I’m sure they’re all happy and um I couldn’t thank them more for what they’ve done for me and I’m excited to see them yeah yeah um thought I had um pretty good year this year and um I mean had a had a good offseason last season leading into this year um into this year so um yeah I thought went good for me this year I mean I’m playing with them great players and I was on a great team so I was super fortunate there and um definitely got to thank a lot of My Success to my teammates yeah the Battalion have been great to me um just their uh development and trust in me um has been great over the years and I couldn’t say better things about the organization and the the management team there so um yeah yeah um as the season went on I I mean I was playing with two great players uh van C and wakeley so um they definitely helped a lot of My Success there and I think just kind of building my confidence over the year um got more ice time and I mean as you saw as you said the points were kind of coming coming along so um it was great building confidence there I have I’ve been once yeah it’s a great City so I’m super excited to head down tomorrow
