all what’s y Rico from Street scores and today we’re coming with a r report y’all already know how these work but if you don’t this is just the collection of just so many different random things all of them have something to do with the commanders but we’re going to bounce around from topic to topic but of course since we’re doing a whole bunch of different topics just a whole culmination of them just random miscellaneous things we’re not going to dive into every topic as much as I normally would in other videos where I talk about things for 10 to 30 minutes each we’re going to kind of just run through every random topic cuz I feel like a lot of this really all of it is really notable that’s why I include them in the videos and of course I have a lot of different rankings people ranking different position groups of ours our quarterback and jayen Daniels we have a lot of crazy stats a lot of really random stats make sure yall definitely stay tuned for the stats at the end of the video stay tuned on really getting into these rookie film sessions and I can’t wait to give you all the updates that are going to come out once we start training camp but again this is a RICO report so did I did like a full breakdown on the gold pants the history of it and everything like that if you haven’t seen that yet make sure you go check that out if you’re interested but also interesting from a John K article talking about it all the way back on February 2nd of 2022 Jason Wright said quote the team received three uniform designs and plans to add a fourth in 2024 with fan involvement unquote so there you go so shouts out to we want Dallas on Twitter for digging that up cuz I now after we want Dallas said that it was oh yeah I do remember they said they did plan on doing something to where we have like a fourth uniform of some sort and now it’s like oh okay that makes a lot of sense so shouts out to week one Dallas for digging that up shouts out for John KH for reporting on that and Jason Wright basically gave us the heads up like okay in two years y’all will get another Jersey a little over like two almost and a third of a Year y’all will get like an additional set of jerseys it would be nice if we got like an additional helmet I would love something like that but again my whole thing that that like I mentioned in the video when I was breaking down the gold pants what matters most is winning and speaking of winning next up the next topic just to let y’all know just in case if you missed it the commanders interviewed second round rookie defensive tackle Johnny Newton who we haven’t seen much of this off season so far due to the injuries to both of his feet one seems like it’s recovered now the other one’s in the recovery process I hope he’s ready for training camp but who knows how that goes I mean I I think he’s quite likely to be ready week one but as a rookie injuries and having a miss an entire off season and you come in week one we shouldn’t have too high of expectations for him but if there are any position group in the NFL that you can miss your entire rookie training camp and offseason workouts and still come in to have at least somewhat of a strong impact it would probably be interior defensive lineman but there still a lot of things Dan Quin and joy junr run a really complicated defense those guys run ran stunts I think last year more than any other team in the NFL so there’s still a lot of complexities to it I’m not trying to undermine how difficult it is to transition from college to the NFL but if there were anybody especially without High his floor is with him already having a lot of pass rush moves en counters that’s the guy my main point is that’s the guy you have to worry about the least if you has to miss the entire offseason out of this entire rookie class they can go out there and be ready to produce by week one he may not be at his best of course trying to get back into game shape and things like that and still being a rookie having to learn and transition from the to college to the NFL but if there were any rookie out of this entire rookie class including Jayden DS including Luke mcaffry binon any of these guys that could afford to miss the entire offseason season of their rookie year and still come out and ball out in the regular season it’ll probably be him so that takes me to my point again the commanders interview Johnny Newton and during an interview with the teams raising hell with the rookie series Newton was asked about whether dropping in the draft is serving at a as a basically like an extra motivation heading into his rookie season and I love his answer because it’s a pretty decent long quote if you want to go check out the clip make sure you go look that up actually just go watch the interview I I think it’s well worth the watch from beginning to end but most notably he said quote when I play him I’mma baptize him unquote and I love that man so this is a guy that is very motivated and he’s basically looking at all of these teams that didn’t take him and basically the other 31 teams in the NFL like yeah y’all done messed up because he believes I’m pretty sure he was a first round pick I feel like he was definitely a first round pick I think he has pro bowler written all over him I think he definitely slid too far on the draft some people felt like that was just the right spot I don’t I think he was too talented to be there of course he feels the same way so even a guy that’s as talented as he is that went early in the second round which is like the the ultimate 1 percentage of human beings in existence of life that’s already a difficult place to reach but that’s still not enough for him not to have a huge chip on the shoulder and he said he’s going to baptize him man he can’t wait every opponent basically he’s going in with the thought in the back of his mind as you didn’t take take me when I felt I should have been taken and you underrated me and overlooked me and I need to show why you were wrong every opponent every game I’m really excited about that type of motivation because that’s also going to help him this off season as soon as he’s good to go both of his feet are good to go ankle feet whatever injuries he’s dealing with as soon as they’re good to go that’s going to be one of the most motivated hardworking players I can imagine being out there on that field if he’s able to participate in training camp in the preseason that man’s going to be a full go if anybody has any post board motivation is Johnny Newton out of this entire rookie class next up Tiki Barbera called out Austin Eckler for not wanting to run the ball a lot if you want to go check out that clip it’s actually pretty interesting and pretty funny because and I talked about this and I believe another Ric report where I talked about Austin Eckler saying that the reason he left the charges was because they wanted to give him more handoffs and I was thinking wow I mean that may be the first running back I’ve ever heard say that he doesn’t want a lot of handoffs usually that’s the problem remember Adrien Peterson basically having an attitude on the sideline I think it was for the Saints and then even when he came here once you know started to get older and the younger guys started to show a little potential he he was the type of guy that would be upset about not getting carries which most running backs are they want the ball as often as possible even if they are already submitted Hall of Famers AJ Peterson was already a Hall of Famer before he even went to the Saints I think that was the team that he was where he like really had a strong attitude like an obvious one and was like almost like a locker room cancer to the point how serious he was about getting his carries but even as a cemented guaranteed Hall of Famer he still wanted to get his carries that’s what running backs do they want the ball as much as possible I mean even just outside of the fact that the more that they carry the ball they get into a better Rhythm throughout the game but as a running back you just want the ball everybody wants the ball as a receiver you want the ball as a tight end you want the ball and things like that and so I may not go as far as like Tiki barar is like calling him all the way out but I did question the logic but again at the same time like I spoke about in the video when I told y’all about AA neckar leaving the charges because they were going to give him two many carries which is again insane for a running back to say but I understand because he’s getting up there in age and he would prefer to be part of like a running back committee so he could play longer I mean it’s no use for him if you really think about it from his point of view if you would have double his carries because he’s the feature back of a certain team rather than him being like a running back by committee or at least like a two-headed monster situation that we have going on here and so he would probably get like half the carries maybe only like 60% of the carries that he would have gotten if he were with the charges or something like that and then he could potentially still get the same amount of money less carries more longevity same amount of money shortterm potentially long more money long term because he gets to play longer because it’s less miles on his body so I see his logic and especially with him being such a great receiving back you would want to get the ball out of the back field as a receiver an option more often than not because when you double up as a receiver that’s more money as well he’s just a pure Bell cow in between the tackles running back you’re going to make less money than the guy that’s out there catching passes and things like that and making plays in the passing game so I see his point of view but just when you see the title Austin Eckler left the Chargers because they wanted to give him too many carries it does sound crazy so Tiki Barber is technically right there if you want to go check out that clip next up next topic ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller has the commander selecting Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr at number five in the 2025 draft and the two main things that I take from this well before I even give my opinions what he said and this is clearly like a way too early mock draft situation I’m not doing these yet maybe I’ll do one after preseason going into the regular season but I don’t know I just feel as much as I love the draft process as much of a GM as I I’m definitely more GM than I am coach than I am player I’ve always been team building type of guy that’s my favorite part fre agency draft that’s literally my favorite part of football watching the film High School recruiting especially for my Georgia Bulldogs and then leading up to college and watching them transition from college to NFL and scouting and all that that’s my favorite part even more than the actual games themselves but even I’m not doing way too early mock drafts at this point like that’s pretty crazy we don’t even know what’s going on yet our rookies having it I mean we potentially have a third round rookie tackle and Brandon Coleman they can step up big time and we don’t need a tackle so I just feel like even now it’s no real point to doing way too early mock drafts maybe I’ll start at some point in the regular season but definitely not now but again Matt Miller this is what he does he’s a draft guy he has to somehow find a way to do draft contend in July I can’t be too mad at him but what he said was in the explanation is if the draft were tomorrow we’d be talking about left tackle and Edge rusher as massive needs for the commanders and I’m not going to lie I do agree there those are some of my biggest concerns right now outside corner do we have a true dominant Edge rusher we’ll see what dorren Armstrong Jun does going from a backup roll to a starting rle and like I mean if you would have basically double his minutes into in basically project his minutes going from a backup rooll to the starting role that he will have on the commanders he is technically a double digit sack guy but that was a projections will he actually be that good who knows so right now the edge position still some question marks I feel like we have good depth there and I feel like Dan Quinn and Jo Jr is such creative and smart defensive coordinators that they will find a way to generate pressure anyway I mean we got Frankie louu Jamon Davis is starting show potential I like KJ Henry’s potential as well and and Dante Fowler is coming from his best season of his pretty extensive career already just last year with the Cowboys he had the best year of his entire career somehow and so maybe he just has a certain he hot streak that he has going on right now as a situational pass rusher so maybe we’re good there but as of right now on paper it’s kind of like I got to see it to believe it so I understand Edge rusher and especially with this value as like a as positional value cornerback may be kind of a bigger need especially with the fact that Ben St juice and Michael Davis Who Are You could argue maybe even our two projected starting Corners right now neither of them are on contract for the 2025 season it’s see Manuel Forbes and friends after that as far as the outside corners go going into the 2025 season so outside corner is a big need we got to see about wide receiver depth and obviously left tackle so I I pretty much agree there I think Edge rusher is only above Corner because a positional value but we definitely need Corner more going into 2025 than we need Edge rusher but out the way contining the article that could change between now and April I completely agree but general manager Adam Peters could definitely address The Blind Side Of The Line Washton has to protect quarterback Jayden Daniels after allowing 65 sacks last season tied for second most and I mean just to get away from the article again I mean it seems like he’s talking about jayen Daniels like we’re going to red shirt him his rookie year and then okay now we can finally debut jayen Daniels after we get a starting left tackle early in the first round like it’s not going to work like that so we need to go ahead and go into the season assume and hoping that we already have an answer at left tackle it may not necessarily be a realistic expectation but I truly like Brandon Coleman he may not be ready week one but I think at some point this season by the time we get to April we will not be thinking left tackle first round hopefully and then continuing our with the article finishing up the article Banks is a prototypical left tackle with powerful 324 PB frame shouts out to my mommy and the junior has allowed just two sacks over his two full seasons starting for the long horns as a Georgia Bulldog fan I hope he’s not as good as they say because I’m going need us to whoop up on them when we play them sometime this college season but the main takeaways I take from this is first of all left tackle they with them saying it’s a big need they’re assuming that Brandon Coleman may not work out by the time we get we finish up this season Brandon Coleman is not who I hoped he could be I think he has Elite potential but is he ready yet is this a guy that may take a year is this a guy that may never reach that potential you just don’t exactly know and then secondly and again I want to reiterate that I do believe in Brandon Coleman I don’t think we’ll be taking and needing a tackle in the first round next draft and then second most important observation honestly the biggest observation I take from this is that they have us driving fifth overall and I don’t think we’re going to be that bad I really do not think we’ll be fifth overall pick bad at all I think honestly if I had to pick between cuz I’m thinking we’re going to probably win somewhere around like seven eight games but if I had to choose I can’t choose that I have to say we’re rather get out of a top five pick in the draft or we’re going to make the playoffs I’m kind of leaning more towards the playoffs I’m not going to lie maybe I’m just super optimistic and I’m just out of control for that but I can’t wait to see where this goes now it’s crazy too because even though Matt Miller is projecting us to take tackle fifth overall in the upcoming draft with this way too early mock draft it’s crazy because other tackles really seem to be high on Brandon Coleman even though Matt Miller isn’t you you even have Olu fashanu who is now with the Jets used to play for Penn State not a Brandon Coleman teammate and then there was a picture of Brandon Coleman when um when when when our rookies showcase their jerseys and things like that and he put under as a Instagram post wow that’s my left tackle so clearly Olu fan fashanu who a lot of people love some people felt like he was the best tackle in the class he’s he clearly likes Brandon Coleman for whatever reason hopefully it’s for talent and I’m thinking that hey man maybe Matt Miller’s missing something right here even us as fans are potentially missing something right here but maybe they just happen to be really cool friends off the field but I’m hoping that’s just him basically saying hey watch out for Brandon Coleman cuz this guy might be better than a lot of people think next topic just to let you know and I’m not going to dive into the article but it’s a fullblown long article on sportic co.com and this was tweeted out and and and sent out on Twitter by eban Novi Williams when they said last summer Commander linebacker Bobby Wagner spent time shadowing Roger Gale participated in sponsor talks and and all 32 owners calls as well unprecedented access for an active NFL player so shouts out to Bobby Wagner you already saw him a couple of weeks ago with Magic Johnson like Terry McClaren did before as well went out to Magic Johnson to like dinner to talk business entrepreneurship things and things like that I mean of course they probably talked a little bit about football but the main thing was for Magic Johnson to basically pass his gems on to a current commanders player and that’s why having Magic Johnson as a pro owner of your team is a huge benefit because he’s helped these guys in a big way off the field and it seems like Bobby Wagner’s just not playing he’s on a tear he’s even going to is he going to Howard I believe for their business program or something like that yeah he’s going for NBA hey man welcome to the club Bobby Wagner I got my NBA in marketing and management at St John’s University you know what I’m saying so welcome to the club my boy B Wags man shouts out to him but yeah I just really wanted to bring this up because this guy is just at an unprecedented level of just not playing about business he’s already Thinking Beyond football he’s still playing football and I believe he can still play at a relatively high level he’s not going to be the Hall of Famer that we we used to seeing him being in his prime like he was a few years ago even just as recently A couple of years ago and remember last year was he had the most tackles in his career last year even though that’s not necessarily the best thing cuz first of all I mean if the defense is doing what it’s supposed to do you shouldn’t just have that ridiculous amount of tackles period and also that’s more mileage on his bodies going back to the whole atin Eckler thing we talked about last year but it does indicate that he’s still got it he may not be Hall of Famer Bobby Wagner anymore physically right now but he’s still got it he’s going to be the best linebacker we’ve had here easily since London Fletcher so I’m still excited but even that even with his age and even as good as I think he’ll be he’s acknowledging the fact he’s understanding the fact that he’s only getting older he’s only getting further away from his pre and he’s thinking big business Beyond football I love that and also the fact that with him having all of this access talking to Magic Johnson he’s with Roger Goodell that sponsor talks and talking to and he’s there when he’s talking to other 32 teams I don’t even know how he gained his access I didn’t I don’t even know how he got this close to Roger Goodell to even be able to be in these situations but more power to him but my main thing is is that he could bring a lot of those just like Magic Johnson gave him gems he could give a lot of these players gems as well and I do remember hearing at some point offseason workouts whether it was voluntary OTAs or mandatory mini camps at some point a couple of the players I believe said something to the extent of that he was helping them off the field as well as far as thinking about let’s let’s go ahead and start talking finance and business let’s start thinking the world outside of football because this doesn’t last forever so it sounds like he’s already on it but I’m really excited about the potential of him helping especially these rookies out like jayen Daniels you know money management and things like that coming into the NFL as a rookie is big time now next up we have a lot of interesting rankings to talk about and then we’re going to dive into a lot of interesting stats so stay tuned for the stats cuz the stats are pretty crazy so first of all rankings wise pro football Focus rank the commander secondary 30th third worst heading into the 2024 NFL season and I honestly can’t even be too mad at that I love our safety groom right now absolutely love it I love Mike sand still as a slot corner I think he has the potential to be literally the best slot Corner in the NFL within a year or two I think he’s that great so he’s going to play on the field as often as possible probably hopefully like 70% of snaps the only worry is outside corner right now only worry and there’s Talent there again like I’ve been saying if we can get 2020 two versions of everybody on the outside corner group this secondary is literally a top five unit top 10 unit Benjamin St juice remember him in 2022 even doing a pretty good job against Justin Jefferson and then Michael Davis was literally a top 10 top eight Corner in 2022 before the Chargers Chang defensive coordinators or whoever was running the defense just literally said forget trying to be a professional scheme driven person just throw them out there and let them figure it out and Michael Davis’s production suffer from that I blame the defensive coordinating way more than I blame Michael Davis for his 2023 season then of course Emanuel Forbes 2023 was his bad rookie year even though I don’t feel like it was as bad as people’s act like it was I feel like there were definitely some bright spots in there where you can kind of project to see okay if he can do that more consistently he could be a pretty good corner at the NFL level but again 2023 was a bad year how about going back to his 2022 season in college when he was setting NFL records in the SEC so if we can get 2022 versions of everybody and I inside quarterback room we’re good to go but that’s a big dream there that’s a big hope that’s not very realistic but it would be nice you never know maybe Dan Quinn and Joe Jr have already explained why I feel like they’re going to get a lot out of Emanuel Forbes and potentially turn them into like the next Deon Bland but I’m not going to dive into that here but just to get into the article why we rank 30th out of the NFL the Commander’s highest graded returning coverage player from 2023 is quarterback davius Martin who produced a 58.8 grade so if that’s how they feel about our our DB group then I understand stand the team lost safety Cameron curl and quarterback Kender Fuller and hopes that new head coach Dan Quinn can coach up a secondary that does not look great on paper they selected cornerback Mike sand still out of Michigan and Michael Davis arrives from Los Angeles but I it’ll take great coaching to elevate this group and I mean what they’re saying isn’t necessarily wrong I mean losing Kendall Fuller you know pro football folus love Kendall Fuller that’s like a top three corner to them in the NFL they love him they also like Cameron Cur quite a bit as well so I can see from their point of view while losing those guys and then bringing in the guys that we that we brought in plus the guys that we kept around like e for benjam St juice why they are a little hesitant to to give our secondary any credit but do not be surprised if the secondary actually ends up um catching a lot of people by surprise I’m telling you now it’s one of my biggest worries on the team especially outside corner specifically but I think they’re going to pull up and make sure that they do their thing and also the Pro Football Focus ranked of NFL offensive lines and so far right now who knows we got to see about what happens with Brandon Coleman but they have us ranked 27th out of the NFL they said the Commander’s almost completely overhauled the offensive line sliding in three new starters in 2024 canelas Lucas a backup in recent years has taking on the starting left tackle job I hope not former Chiefs backup offensive lineman Nick aligi is expected to play a left tackle and I mean left guard my fault and Tyler bades bades acquired in free agency will start at Center Samy cosmi who ranked fourth amongst guards in the Pro Football Focus grade in 2023 and Andrew Wy represent it the continuity on the right side of the line now I am worried about the left tackle situation but I don’t feel like we’re 27th bad but again I what what can I do to argue against it at the end of the day man I’m actually pretty surprised that the Washington commanders are not 32nd based on what they just said in their article we’re not that good but we’re also thank goodness not that bad I think again we’re higher than 27 we deserve to be there but I mean who are we to say so we got to go out there and show people better than we can tell them so I’m really excited about seeing what our offensive line Looks like especially if Brandon Coleman can step up big time also an NFL analyst basically broke down why the commanders could potentially end up not reaching the expectations that we have you have Kevin Patra from nfl.com and basically he said that his primary concern for the Washington commanders going into the season is the offensive line so just continuing the offensive line worries and people being down on the offensive line you also have Kevin Patra from nfl.com they said quote jayen daniels’s Blind Side sits in a precarious spot Washington didn’t address left tackle in free agency and waited until the draft’s third round before taking a tackle 32-year-old journeyman Cornelius Lucas who started double digit games once in 10 seasons and third round pick Brandon Coleman are in line to compete for the gig guard Nick alrti was a backup in Kansas City for the past five years and will be taxed with locking down the left guard spot Right Guard Sam cosmi is a stud I think he has all pro potential I don’t see how we have not sign Samuel cosmi to a long-term deal already because the price is only going to Skyrock him from here once he finally does make a pro bowl or All Pro I think he has that much potential I think honestly he was the best player out of our entire team last year even better than Terry McLaren Jonathan Allen Devon Payne at their respective job samel cosmi at least the second half of the season last year was our best player and pro Focus felt like he was the fourth best guard great wise and I believe when they talked when they did like a projection into the 2024 season they had him as their second or third best guard going into this upcoming season and then finishing up the quote incen Tyler bades is solid but the rest of the group has significant question marks the hope is that daniels’s elusiveness can mitigate some of the issues but that’s asking a lot of a rookie unquote and I see the point there we do need this offensive line to be great we cannot depend on Jayden daniels’s legs I do not want to do that at all I want him to be a quarterback that can run not a runner that just occasionally throws good passes so I really want him to be able to stay in the pocket be kept clean and deliver those passes scanning the defense pre and post Snap so Brandon Coleman we need you as soon as possible to get ready man because I’m not comfortable with canelas Lucas or Trent Scott starting that left tackle for us and then another ranking the commander D line was ranked 19th brought Pro Football Focus just to let you know the Eagles were ranked third the Cowboys were ranked Sixth and the Giants were ranked 18th and we were one spot behind the Giants as to having the worst defensive line in the division they said said while we were ranked 19th last season resulted in unexpected down years from interior Duo of Jonathan Allen and Don Payne and like I already told y’all Johnny Newton is going to be a big cure for that because they their numbers were down because they were just tired they were fatigued those guys were not playing at their highest capabilities on a per snap basis they were not efficient because they played way too many snaps we just didn’t have anybody else we can really throw out there now bring in Johnny Newton to be a part of like a three-way rotation at defensive tackle because you have John Ridgeway as more of like the nose tackle double team eater goal line fourth and one true run stuffer but if you want to got it can stop the run and penetrate and get after the quarterback and make plays in the back field we have a healthy Trio of Jonathan Allen donon Payne and now Johnny Newton so I’m expecting Jonathan Allen and Devon Payne to return to their 2022 sales just like we talked about with the corners Allen led the team in quarterback pressures were 49 but it was his worst Pro Football Focus pass rushan grade since 2019 and the worst over all grade of his career So Pro Football Focus feels like Jonathan Allen is coming off of the worst season of his NFL career just last year rookie Johnny Newton will help to force his way into the rotation inside and making some noise but the big issue for this team is on the edge where new free agent dorren Armstrong may be the most proven commodity and and I’m not going to lie pretty accurate assessment right there we’re depending on dorren Armstrong and step up in a big way like I talked about briefly earlier we’re just going to Hope and assume that him going from a backup roll to starting role means that he’s out there stacking up the numbers and being a true impactful one of the top Edge rushers in the NFL we’ll see a double digit sack guy next up Bleacher Report ranked rookie quarterbacks based on biggest early impact like who’s going to be ready day one to go out there and ball out jayen DS was ranked second out of the six first round quarterbacks but he was above Caleb Williams the quote was Jaden DS has a natural advantage over everyone else on the list his athleticism will make an immediate threat no matter what unquote and then also Pro Football Focus did a ranking of the top 60 fantasy 2024 rookies and the commanders actually have three in the top 31 so let’s get it man you have Jaden Daniels third and I mean they just do a whole breakdown I I mean we’ll be here forever if I read everybody’s breakdown but he said Daniels was the second quarterback off the board and should be greatly helped by his Russian production only behind Caleb Williams and then Marvin Harrison was number one but again for every player that they talk about all of these guys have a bunch of information under them so I’m not going to read all of that I like the fact that I’m seeing Brock Bowers and lad makoni both in the top 11 as a Georgia Bulldog fan I’m liking what I’m seeing but then you have Ben cinate at 29th and you have Luke mcaffrey at 31st so we have three players in the top 31 out of all of the rookies in the NFL fantasy production wise projection from Pro Football Focus that’s actually really really good another ranking Steelers quarterback and that’s just so crazy to say Steelers quarterback Justin Fields list the commanders wide Reser wide receiver Terry McClaren as a top five wide receiver from Ohio State he has Marvin Harrison Jr first I mean and when you first hear that you’re like okay top five wide receiver Ohio State that’s pretty good but then when you think about the people that he has in front of him it’s like eh maybe not that good because he has Marvin Harrison Jr at first I can’t be mad at that Jackson Smith and jiga 2 Garrett Wilson three Chris alive four and Terry MCL fth and the only reason that that makes a lot of sense actually when you really sit back and think about it is because Terry mclen wasn’t the Terry mclen we know right now in college he was more of like a special teams guy a Gunner a guy that you get the ball out in space and let him make plays after the catch but not like just the this Elite route running killing you as a receiver top dog type of guy number one receiver on the team X whatever you want to throw him as he was not that in college I mean a lot of people did never expect him to be what he is right now in NFL whereas these other guys left College left Ohio State knowing that they would be good receivers so I understand shouts out to Justin fields for even thinking about Terry mclen there because he easily could have put like a Paris Campbell Paris Campbell was considered the better receiver coming out of Ohio State than Terry MCL at least production and stats wise so and then also as you look on the screen right now FanDuel did their top 10 returners of all time and it’s a pretty good list overall and as you notice B Mitch our boy Brian Mitchell is second overall only behind Devon Hester but the problem is why do they have him as a eagle instead of as instead of as a burgundy and gold Commander whatever you want to call him whatever why is he an eagle how did that how did they do that where did that come from they put Deion Sanders as a cowboy they put cadal Patterson as a viking I just I’m not exactly understanding how they ended up putting Brian Mitchell as an eagle there I that should have easily have been B bergy and gold the list was perfect except for the fact that they messed that up now moving on to now the stats part of the video let’s get into the random stats first of all let’s start with this one there’s a list of wide receivers who have at least 75 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards in each of their last four seasons Devonte Adams Stefan Diggs Tyreek Hill Terry mlen end of list those are the only four receivers the only only four receivers and you know what’s crazy is that Terry mclin has had the worst situation out of all of them cuz shouts out to at Jay Daniels MVP for pointing this out number of quarterbacks that each of these wide receivers have had during this fouryear span that we’re talking about Devonte Adams had four Stefan Diggs only had one Josh Allen the whole time Tyreek Hill had two Terry McClaren had seven seven he had as many different quarterbacks as all of the all of the other three wide receivers in this very small list of people people combin that is absolutely insane so Terry mclen deserves a lot more credit than what he’s getting just from that alone also if you look on the screen right now here are the combined records of each NFL division the last three seasons and shouts out to the Cowboys and the Eagles for carrying us and the Giants because we have not been holding our weight and so apparently the last three seasons the NFC East has been the second best division in football and that’s just crazy because the poor Kansas City Chiefs out here WI Super Bowl after Super Bowl and they still came and forth shouts out to the Raiders and the Broncos for holding them back let’s get it man and yeah man I mean the AFC North obviously if you would have told me who has the best winning percentage the last three years when we’re talking about division to division I would have predicted AFC North and it’s a big gap too 574 to the0 534 that we are and then everybody else is pretty close behind the other people until you I guess you make a jump from AFC East to NFC North and shouts out to the NFC South and the AFC South for being so terrible which is crazy how the NFL works because when we’re talking about region of football high school college the South got it these regions that these teams play in easily got it but when it comes to the NFL that’s not how it works people don’t play where they’re from necessarily so it’s crazy that somehow the South has the worst NFL football while the South still at the same time has the best high school and college football football doing it I just thought that was pretty interesting another interesting status you look on the screen right now just to let you know running backs with 1200 rushing yards in 2003 as you can see there are 14 names up there and that is a really good list of qu man I miss I ain’t gon to lie I miss those days of running backs man especially leanian thomsson Shan Alexander Ricky Williams our boy Clinton poris of course I miss those days Edan James was who he was like one of the top three best characters in NFL Street man he was different of course Tiki Barber like we talked about earlier Fred Taylor over there at the pivot podcast Stephen Davis oh man y’all don’t understand how much boy it back when 2K used to make NFL games but I had Stephen Davis all the way I changed all of his stats to be 99 everything he was the best quarterback kicker running back wide receiver everything ever um and then I would make the sliders go all the way down to where everything was easy I was scoring like literally 15 touchdowns a game with Steven Davis back in like Elementary school but beyond that to compare the fact that in 2003 you had all of these running backs to reach 1,200 rushing yards last year chrisan mcaffrey was the only running back to do it that is absolutely insane how different this game is right now that’s absolutely insane how that works next up another interesting stat as you’re looking on the screen right now the most famous celebrity fan of each NFL team and I definitely disagree with this list in a lot of ways I definitely feel like a lot of these people are not the most famous fans of these teams but hey we got Kevin Durant I’ll take it I’ll rock with Kevin Durant especially as far as being a commanders fan I I see where they’re coming from now let’s get it and then I thought Usher for the Atlanta Falcons was interesting because I definitely thought we would have more famous people than that but shouts out to Usher man shouts out Usher and then next up if you look on the screen again you will see the average cost per family to attend an NFL game and this is like the equivalent of you have to buy the four of the cheapest tickets Plus Part plus four hot dogs plus two beers and two sodas the commanders are somewhat in the middle towards the bottom of the middle I don’t know why the Raiders are the most expensive it cost you $1,381 to buy four tickets parking four hot dogs two beers and two sodas that’s insane and then you have the Falcons all the way at the bottom the least with $293 and take it to somebody that has gone to a lot of games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium the hype is real things are very cheap you can get full half almost like a full course dinner off of like $20 they do not have airport Disney World theme park prices there like most NFL stadiums do and I’ve never been to a Raiders stadium I hope I never will Eagle Stadium there’s no way you got to deal with how terrible those fans are and pay the second most money you have to to experience a game and I understand the Chiefs and bills at least those teams have been winning but this list is crazy shouts out to the Falcons though I hate them in every way but at least when I go to their games to root against them I don’t have to spend a lot of money to eat and get full and then also next up shouts out to my boy disco because he brings up a really interesting point he said let this sink in the commanders have not won 11 plus games in 33 years so in my lifetime I’ve never seen the commanders win 11 plus games which is absolutely terrible that makes zero sense my Georgia Bulldogs who play less games a season have been winning 11 games a season so commanders please show me for the first time in my life an 11 win season for the team I like the most the only team I care about actually at the NFL level I have players that I like on other teams but I’m not one of those fans that has like a secondary team that I root for when the commanders are out of it I just really don’t I’m I’m not really I’m from Atlanta so I don’t really care about the Ravens like a lot of people do I don’t have this other team I hate the Falcons even more than I hate the Cowboys so it’s definitely not going to be them so can I please get a team the team that I root for the NFL to win 11 games in my lifetime I’m thinking that’ll actually happen somewhat soon also shouts out to add Jay Daniels MVP for another dig because in that span of the last 33 years we’ve had 34 different quarterbacks playing that time span that is atrocious I’m assuming that that has to be the worst in NFL if not the only team worse than us has to be the Browns it can only be the Browns that have more starting quarterbacks in that 33e span but again I believe we’re the only team in the NFL that hasn’t won at least 11 plus games in that 33e span which is crazy and then lastly before we get up out of here there was a really cool story Patriots special teamer star special teamer Larry ISO once got a game ball from bill bellich for taking uh swword on the sideline because he didn’t want to risk missing being a part of the field goal team any moment that they needed them and just to let you know that Larry ISO how this relates to the commanders is now our special teams coordinator so if you had the Wonder at all if our special teams coordinator had any grit had any ounce of you got to do what it takes to win in them like no excuses I don’t care what your excuse is I need you to perform and be productive that’s our special teams coordinator right there he took a whole thing on the sidelines so he would miss the game and Bill bich even awarded him a game ball for it so just to give you a little bit of background info on our special teams coordinator one of the best in the NFL from what he did the past few years with the Seahawks and I’m expecting him to do the same thing I have similar success for the Washington commanders and we’re talking about the offense making a big leap from last year to to this upcoming season we’re talking about the defense really making going from one of the worst to one of the best I think we’re going to go from bottom five to potentially top 10 maybe even top five defensively it’s all on that outside corner position I’m not going to lie but don’t sleep on how much of an improvement our special teams is about to make going from Nate kaxer who I didn’t really hate that much but now to Larry ISO one of the arguably five at least top seven best special teams coordinators in the NFL and again you see what he feels like he’s willing to do to and whatever it takes to win he’s going to do it so I’m I’m assuming he’s going to expect the same thing out of the players he may not demand that they do the same thing he did when he was on the Patriots but this is a guy that’s not accepting excuses and
