Seattle Seahawks 2024 Training Camp Roster Battles Ft. Zach Charbonnet & Byron Murphy II

Seattle Seahawks Training Camp began with rookies reporting on July 17th and veterans reporting on July 23rd. Seattle Seahawks Today host Tyler Jones take a look at the top Seahawks position battles heading into training camp:
– The Seattle Seahawks roster is loaded and features a very competitive backfield with Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet. It is expected to be an open competition for who will be the RB1 this season on the Seattle Seahawks RB depth chart.
– Meanwhile, there is uncertainty on the Seattle Seahawks offensive line depth chart, with a battle at RG between Anthony Bradford and Christian Haynes. Bradford started nine games in 2023, while Haynes was selected in the 3rd round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
– At the outside cornerback spot, we already know where Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen will be, but what about Tre Brown and Mike Jackson? Brown and Jackson are competing to see who will be the other Seattle Seahawks outside cornerback.
– Mike Macdonald and John Schneider put together some major upgrades on the Seahawks defensive line, but that leaves both Dre’Mont Jones and rookie Byron Murphy battling to see who can get more playing time in the Seattle Seahawks defensive rotation.
– While the Seattle Seahawks WR depth chart is stacked with DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Jake Bobo, questions remain of who will be the Seahawks’ WR5. Seattle Seahawks roster candidates at the spot include Laviska Shenault Jr., Dareke Young and Dee Eksridge.
