I said this yesterday and got lambasted for it. These Olympics make it clear that Tatum still sees himself as a mentee of sorts. He’s still at the kids table without realizing that unlike the Celtics you aren’t given reign to the face of the league (or being the face of USA basketball) you take it.
I am looking forward to Tatum taking that leap. He’s an amazing talent and I’m looking forward to seeing him fully unlocked and fully believing he is the best in the league
Melo’s a bitch that never won shit (or even come close to a ring) in the NBA because he never cared about playing winning, team basketball. Elite scorer, but subpar to worthless garbage at everything else basketball. Brought no leadership, no heart, no effort without the ball, unbelievably dogshit on defense, and absolutely no accountability.
And the one time someone else got attention in NY (Lin), he threw a hissy fit and forced the Knicks to get rid of him.
