I’ve been told throughout this process over the last few weeks—and especially the last 24 hours, 48 hours—that everyone feels good this is going to get done.
NBC Sports Boston Phil Perry on Matthew Judon:
“Even though he was a participant in all practice periods today, I hesitate to call him a full participant in practice. When it came time for the team drills … Matthew Judon was out there for the very first snap for the first-team offense and that was it, and he came off. He didn’t take any reps further against Jacoby Brissett, didn’t take any more against Drake Maye. So I would call that limited, and I think that’s by design. This is a guy who doesn’t want to risk all that much. Again, he did not play in the two padded practices that we’ve seen.”

I don't think I would go as far as saying he look like he didn't have any interest in playing for the Patriots. Yes it was obvious that he was frustrated, but when you're doing all you can do when you've been to bigger man this whole entire time and watching everybody else around you get deals done , it's normal for anybody to feel a little disrespected a little overlooked and a little frustrated . I hope he gets to deal done no later than Monday
Giving Reagor a new contract was a mistake. I don't think he makes the cut as a wide receiver. Maybe he does well on special teams.
They definitely should have been made him a top priority in making sure he gets what he deserved he is definitely one of our top defensive threats this would be a huge loss especially after losing bamore but he made it clear he wants to stay and I really hope he does 🙏🏾
Trade him
The holdup in negotiations might have more to do with contract length than $$$. I like Allie’s proposed 2-year $35-40M contract but think Judon wants more than 2 years.
