Why the hell was d’Arnaud playing 3B and why don’t I remember this? I must have been totally checked out during the 2017 season.
Rene Rivera 🤮
I can’t believe this lineup was seven years ago.
I was at this one and it was surreal. Even moreso because it was against the Yankees.
Flores and Reyes were both hurt, so Terry was scrambling. I believe the options were either d’Arnaud, or have Cespedes play the infield. Or finally put deGrom out there.
Worth noting: as dumb as it was, it did work. d’Arnaud only had one chance (a pop up in the 9th).
I remember this game. It was fun.
And didn’t a ball get him to him anyway toward the end of the game?
