  1. Ive been commenting on pistons posts all offseason that stew should be our 5 not duren and received nothing but hate. Thank you for saying it. Duren hurts cade in total. Yes he is a good lob threat but that is not enough to cancel out the paint clogging and absolute negative defensively

  2. Stew is above average rim/paint defender, switchable, has a positive ast/tov ratio, and is one of the most efficient stretch big man. I do not and will not understand why people dont think he should be our 5. Yes durens potential is higher but im not building around duren im building around cade’s potential and stew is built for that

  3. Wow this guy really hates Ivey it’s disgusting. J.B all ready stated J.I and Cade will start and finish games next season

Ivey is the undeniable closer at the 2 being a actual secondary ball handler, having the ability to create his own shot and collapse defenses while also being a knockdown c&s guy from 3 finishing his rookie year shooting 47.4% on unguarded c&s 3s ranking him in the 90th percentile with no Monty and Killian love fest to get in his way of a phenomenal season

You will be apologizing to Ivey midway through next season

  4. Cade/Ausar/Fonteccio/Harris/Stewart. Solid defense and no weird spacing issue. Duren has talent, but he gets in the way of other players and hasn't defended well while Stewart has a well-rounded game that elevates teammates. Ausar is the much more versatile non-shooter because of his on and off ball defense, and his playmaking. Amen dominated in the dunker's spot and as a roller when he had to play the frontcourt with Jabari Smith; the Pistons should try that more with Ausar and Stewart. I can't think of a single NBA starter that I'd bench for Ivey.

  5. Paul Reed will make things less typical. He will be what Isiah Stewart is portrayed to be. Actually you will see more of Stew at 4 than you think. Stew with Reed will be pistons Identity.
Every statistic that you have for last year you can erase it, they were under a dysfunctional leadership. monty williams leadership, was seriously responsible for disappointed "next step developmental leap". the team's regression 'Everyone' last yr underperformed because of dysfunctional direction . Duren will be vastly improved. He will revive his projected potential and solidify his extension's worth. He and Ausar will make the biggest leap. Yet Reed & Stew &&&&&& Ausar will give this team's identity.

  6. Stew is a stretch big?? No one covers him at all. With winning or game tying 3s he passes em up. Stew is undersized as the 5 and where he ranks doesnt matter. No one is running. When they do and he has that then we will see. Are we betting on Stew for a big 3?? Stews blocks are down as well. And who has he defended?? He cant cover stretch 4s or actual bigs. He gets abused in the post no one remembers?? I have seen more people run at Ivey for a 3 then Stew. Second chance points we can count on Duren more.

  7. No, Stewart is not yet a floor spacer. Sure, once in a while Stewart would get hot on threes in the first half, and so get some defensive attention in the second half. But that was rare. 90% of the time, Stewart was not guarded when out at the three point line.

On defense, Stewart failed before as a center. We actually used Wiseman and Bagley at backup center last season, not Stewart. Just because Stewart just lost his job at pf because we got Harris, does not mean he got taller, or more athletic. Stewart is no center.

On the stats, beware using stats from a team that won no games.

  8. The ivey hate is out of control hes been most healthy want to be here the most improved the most but got and get lesser opportunity and most hate from media that's crazy
