Pathetic pitching. Giving up 9 to the rays is embarrassing.
FIRE THIS BULLPEN INTO THE SUN!
For all the shit talking Kelly does he sucks
philips 🙁 kelly >:(
That was heartbreaking, why was Kelly put in aaAAHAAA
On a night like tonight (Teo, Ohtani 41 and a dingbat for Miggy Ro) for our bullpen to go out and do what they do. 🤦♂️ Take a bow bullpen, you all deserve a sack tapping
Last time the Dodgers had a pathetic blown game to the Rays on a Saturday night they won the World Series
What was the point in putting in Phillips as closer when Kopech was lockdown as closer? Just a head scratcher moment
Put that coffee down Phillips! Coffee is for closers.
Not gonna win many games where the pitching gives up 9. Fortunately not gonna be many games when our pitching gives up 9.
SD seems to be cooling off a little. Just need AZ to start falling back to earth too
This one’s on the pitching, offense and defense was great.
Eh, we had them where we wanted. Get em tomorrow.
Will Smith continues to prove he is a Top 5 (3?) catcher in this league with one more out made at second today. Dude has been such a rockstar defensively this year.
Blow pen strikes again, 4 runs in 3 innings is very bad
Surprised we didn’t use Vesia
Evan Philips & Joe Kelly fucked the game up
Should’ve put in Banda instead of Kelly. The Joe Kelly Fight Club showed up without the fight
welp, bound to lose at some point. It was a close game so not a bad loss either.
Flush this one. Giving up 4 runs in the 1st isn’t going to win many games, and an aging Kershaw is always at risk of imploding.
The good: we had fight. Our offense is really good from top to bottom. Seems like we can come back from anything. Phillips was fine. That young buck is just really good.
The bad: Kersh is horrible when he can’t locate. Super nervous about the playoffs with him.
Joe being Joe
Going to need to find a way to get off to a better start and stop falling behind early, even though we came back last night. Down 0-3 last night and down 0-4 tonight. Our offense did a good job coming back, but we shouldn’t be putting ourselves in a hole in the first place.
And the win streak ends at 6. It was gonna end eventually, still sucks to see the bullpen blow the lead after our batters did so much to shore up Kersh. Win the series tomorrow.
Everyone pitching was to blame today. Except brasier. Sure we came back to take the lead but kersh still got lit up and our bull pen topped it off by blowing it. We didn’t deserve to win tbh and we were gonna sneak out with a win but we ended up losing. Welp onto tmr. Defense and offense look good though
On the bright side Shohei Ohtani 7 game hit streak and .345 average during that span
Can’t win them all. Lets win the series tmrw.
All of these games have been a lot of fun. The Dodgers.are coming to play every night.
Our bullpen is such a liability
Just leaving the stadium. We had no business winning that game by giving up 15 hits. Especially when we have Kershaw, Kopech, and Phillips all giving less than stellar performances.
This bullpen is not good enough for October.
At least we could see HRs of Teoscar, Ohtani and Miggy Ro
The bullpen sucked but what nobody wants to admit is Kershaw is washed. If your starter gives up 4 runs in two innings without even looking competitive then he’s not a starter. We lost today because he put us in a hole.
Graterol is taking Joe Kelly’s spot soon at least
