  30. After Marty St Louis retired, I can’t think of a more impactful small player than Gaudreau. He came into the league 10 years ago so it’s wild to think guys like Caufield were young teenagers watching him play.

  42. Honestly I don’t think GMs give Cole the shot he’s had if it wasn’t for guys like Theo, St Louis and Gaudreau showing that you don’t need to be 6’ or taller to produce at an elite level

    Respect to Cole on this one. I did same when Demitra died and switch my number in all sports to 38. Those 2010 Olympics were incredible

  45. Fuck yes. This is truly meaningful and heartfelt. There have been posts all over r/hockey about this bringing us all together and I have to say as a Leafs fan, this and the steps of the Saddledome have brought me to tears tonight.
