Yankees need to re-tool and upgrade the infield with a new 1st and 3rd baseman + a solid outfielder. Soto will not come back. The yankees also need a solid starter. Even though boone will be back, i think yankees need a manager change. I'd also be open to getting rid of cashman its been 40 years of him.

Want a winner? Get rid of the following problems. Boone, Rizzo, Kahnle, Holmes, Torres, Trevino, Cortez, Rodon, and the entire coaching staff. Replace with players like Volpe and Chisolm. For some positives, Volpe showed a lot of heart in game 4 and I hope this pushes him to get better. Watching Garrett Cole was like watching a pitching masterclass it was a real pleasure to watch him work. Sure he could've covered 1st but like the announcers were saying about the Dodgers – they don't make assumptions. Rizzo should've hustled regardless but lessons learned. Fundamentals are key.
