  1. Nice to hear some unbiased opinions from the Boston announcers. The old guy you had would have been crying his eyes out at this, completely legitimate play.

  2. You know the refs made an absolute bazaar call when the biggest hometown announcers question it. Absolute shambles of a call. But entirely expected with the donuts they give whistles to in the NHL.

  3. I cant believe they gave Tanev a roughing penalty on that play. For what? Getting jumped by Marchand, being put in a headlock and taken down to the ice? Pretty ridiculous πŸ˜‚

  4. That shouldn’t be a penalty on Tanev when Pastrnak is the one who turned his back towards the hit and put himself in a vulnerable position. Marchand should get 2 for instigating and 2 for roughing.

  5. Pasta needs to stop frontin with the ra ra. We all know he isn't built like that…. His pugilistic prowess settings are on 0.

  6. This is insane. BOTH penalties they gave to Tanev were nonexistent. Even Marchand is laughing at it with him. He doesn't deserve a boarding, and the rat grabs him from behind and rips him to the ground by the head. They give Tanev a roughing for being roughed, and a completely BS boarding call. WTF, figure out your reffing NHL. Get all the refs in a fucking zoom call once a week until they can all understand the rules, and call games consistently. Just try ANYTHING to remedy this situation instead of ignoring it, or denying it's even a problem that exists. Start docking pay or penalizing refs who mess up, *anything*!

  7. Boarding is the wrong call, Pasta put himself in that position and Tanev had no time to react to him swinging the numbers toward him, but I understand the offsetting roughing penalties. It was a smart but reckless play by Pasta that paid off with a PP but it was risking an injury for sure.
