11. We are a good football team. Simple as that.

    Our floor is maybe as high as we’ve seen in 15+ years, and the ceiling is creeping higher as the weeks go bye.

12. I’m butthurt Herbert didn’t get over 200 yards for my parlay. But absolutely STOKED we won 27-17 with him only throwing 164 yards. That is an incredible stat line considering all of the plus 300 yard plus 4 tds losses he had last year. Let’s go BOLTS!

    **1st HALF**
    Chargers had some mistakes in the secondary leading to some points in the first half. However, the Chargers were able to sustain drives the entire game usually leading to scores.

    **2nd HALF**
    The Chargers were able to adjust in the second half and got the offense cooking while keeping the defense strong and dominant.
    Herbert was able to keep drives alive with his legs, which lends credence to his injury being fully healed.

    **OVERALL**
    This team looks strong and most importantly… able to handle adversity and put games away- an attribute Chargers fans have been craving for years under the Staley regime. Also, Herbert remains very consistent with avoiding interceptions.

    This seems like a very well-coached team.

26. This is why Harbaugh believes in GRo. When the offense is executing like this at every level, it’s going to be so fucking hard for any defense to stop them. Gus Edwards looks rejuvenated. Justin Herbert should be in the top 3 in the MVP race. Can’t believe we get to experience this type of winning football for the next 10+ years guys. All that suffering was worth it in the end

28. I was trying to tell this sub last year that QJ would come around. I like what I’m seeing.

29. Man, if we can hold our own against Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase, we should win the game next week. Bengals defense is not that good

30. Justin Herbert might end up having one of the best “ignore the box score” QB seasons ever

32. Herbert had 4 incompletions. 2 drops by tight ends, The most improbable and best incomplete half right before the half ends, and a pass that was almost (which I get is a stretch) brought in by one hand. He’s dealing

35. It’s wild that we could give up 17 points in a game and have it drive our defensive PPG *up* and not down. This is truly one of the best Chargers defenses of this century.

40. It’s gonna take a lot for me to not be nervous when watching the Chargers. Even when I know things are in our favor (like it was for most of the game) I just can’t relax.

    The next few weeks are gonna be very interesting.

    On a side note watching the Jets and Cowboys shit all over themselves is fun!

41. I’m starting to believe. I’ve been a lifetime Charger fan, rarely ever comment, I’ve seen it and been through it with Norv, McCoy, Lynn, and Staley. I have seen time and time again, each and every single coach try and run the clock out, letting off the attack after getting the lead. Time and time again I’ve seen them lose it in the second half. Time and time again coach’s being outclassed each and every single game. It definitely feels different with this one.
