Don’t know how many teams are going to be throwing long term deals at a guy who just came off of a surgery, and if they did make him a long term offer, it probably wasn’t a lot of money per year offered.
This really was the worst case scenario for both Kim and the Padres this year. The Padres failed to get anything in a trade for Kim, or resign him. And Kim had a largely lackluster year ending in a season ending injury requiring surgery and a long rehab period. I wish him all the best, and while I won’t chant for him anymore, he will be the only dodger I won’t boo, if he signs there.
I mean I still think he’s gonna be a giant?!?!?
I think the Farhan Giants would give him a long term deal. Unsure what Posey and the new management’s strategy will be.
I think a 1-2 year deal was always predicted for Kim. Not to mention no one knows how much time or if any he will miss next season. If they offer him 14M he should grab it. Most projected 10M range.
HSK had a decent run in San Diego. Handsome dude too.
He didn’t at any time exhibit superstar status…..nor was he expected to.
He came and he went.

HSK will get a multi year deal. Probably 3 with an opt out after year 2, 1st year will be team friendly as he will be out til May/June next season.
If Kim goes to the Doyers that’s a slap in our face and he knows it
