How the FUCK do you build a stadium that can’t hold up to a Hurricane in FLORIDA?!
6:58 why not? The Jays played playoff games in their minor league park in 2020. The question would be, what would happen if they play the Yankees in the playoffs?
Stu wants Montreal
Heres my question do Rays fans want them to stay in Tampa? Cause its hard to tell
And people thought the Wander Franco situation was the end of bad luck
How A Hurricane Might Have Just WON The Tampa Bay Rays A Championship Within The Next Few Years* There I fixed it for ya
Why don’t they just completely remove the roof and just let it be an outdoor park going forward lol
If Italk dosent heart my comment then he is a blue jay fan
It's completely fair to clown on the place the Rays play but saying they should leave which is what I have heard a ton of people say not really sympthatic to the fans who would just lose a recently good baseball team all because of a once in a lifetime storm and a corrupt ownership and political commission party to cry at each other about money and mistreatment. It just feels like two people having a pissing match while the fans (not to mention all the jobs that will be lost) are in the middle of it
There is zero excuse that the Ray's do not pay for their own roof.
They should of kept the area in Ybor City open for a stadium. The Marlins stadium issues and financing is the real reason why Florida, it's counties and municipalities want no part of the funding.
IMO, moving the Rays to either Charlotte ( and ending the blackout between Atlanta and DC) or Nashville seem feasible. Moving the team to Montreal 30 years after the last strike and the attendance issues they had might make them be cautious
Should be in Tampa not St. Petersburg. They’re the Tampa bay rays not the St. Petersburg rays.
Announcement any day now:
The Rays have been sold to Bell Canada and being moved to Montreal where the team will play 3 seasons at Olympic Stadium while a new ballpark is constructed. Team will be renamed ‘The Expos’ and all games can be seen on TSN in Canada.
Very interesting that a professional team permanently relocated because of natural disasters
This story gonna be down for ages
Maybe too soon
I grew up in the trop I was going to games since 2003 when I was a kid. Ive always loved it and never understood the hate… It has AC and it does what its supposed to do? I genuinely don't see the problem with it or why people need to have a multi billion dollar stadium to watch a baseball game. But that's just my opinion a native Floridian who's been going to games almost since they started playing
You just need to start smoking a pack a day to deepen that voice a little.
They should just rename themselves to the Barnstormers at this point
The Sutter Health logo behind Kavel’s shoulder as he spoke about staying in Oakland is just priceless. Like Sacramento was just looming in the background
50 mil to fix the roof is nothing to mlb. Let the team which is worth billions of dollars pay for it. Or leave and go elsewhere. Sick of leagues being so cheap and demanding so much money from the public just so they can get rich
Ok, ok… ok, hear me out
The Oakland R A Y S 👀
The chappelle meme was a good one. Quick and funny
