The Detroit Lions will be without starters on both sides of the football today for their annual Thanksgiving Day Classic. Cornerback Carlton Davis III and left tackle Taylor Decker are inactive and won’t play today as the Lions welcome Chicago to Ford Field.

Davis injured his knee in Detroit’s win over Indianapolis last Sunday and didn’t practice all week on the short turnaround to Thursday. It will be interesting to see what the Lions do to replace Davis. They could use Kindle Vildor again like they did Sunday in Indianapolis or play veteran Khalil Dorsey there. Head coach Dan Campbell had talked about moving Amik Robertson outside and playing Emmanuel Moseley in the nickel as an option too, but Moseley was a surprise inactive today. The Lions will get rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold back after he missed last week’s game with a groin injury.
