Paul Maurice: Florida Panthers Take Off for Two-Game Road Trip to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia

The Panthers have won three straight going into Tuesday’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Florida also plays the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday before returning home.

Florida outscored the Hurricanes 12-3 in its two-game sweep of Carolina coming out of Thanksgiving.

Saturday, the Panthers took a 2-0 lead going into the third on goals by Aaron Ekblad and Mackie Samoskevich.

Florida then blew things open with four in the third with Sam Bennett, Sasha Barkov, Adam Boqvist, and Evan Rodrigues scoring.

Spencer Knight got his fourth NHL shutout and first since 2022 with 20 saves.

The Panthers visit the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.
