  1. Until Dach finds his form who knows when itโ€™ll be tough for Laine to score 5 on 5.

Neither Dach or Newhook are playmakers this year, so thatโ€™s something I hope works out eventually.

  2. Just imagine if he'd been there from the beginning of the season. He could've easily stolen us 3 more wins and we'd be right in the wildcard race. It's not over yet, and if he can keep up the production and we have a great second half, we may have a chance.

  3. … And people thought Finland had gone crazy to take Laine on the 4 Nations.. The guy is just getting better when he restores his cardio after 1 year off. He made 2 super passes also (like the one with empty goal, 2nd assist). It would be 1+2 if he had better linemates in 5vs5

  4. My only concern here is that Laine has that left side slot now and not Caufield. As you know Caufield's goal production has dropped off so not great news for him. Yes he's been on the PP and setting up but I hope this doesn't hurt his game for scoring is all.

  5. The talent has always been there, really pulling for him to put it all together. We all mature at different rates and some people take longer than others. Pro Athletes are no different.
