  4. As soon as I saw the title I was like, this is how bad we have become as a franchise that we have to point out the hidden benefits a GM can have in order to attract a good GM. Love your content bro, just found the title funny 😅 I so hope this franchise can turn it around, but I have to admit I have learn why people say this franchise will never under Woody Johnson. I have been a fan for 16 years now, and it is sad to say those fans were right. Woody needs to learn from James Dolan and stop getting involved in team decisions.

  6. who wouldn’t want credit for turning around the jets franchise with this much talent? It’s a GM’s dream situation and he gets to draft his QB for the future and who better to learn from, given we can get 1-2 more years out of Rodgers

  13. The Jets need to hire an alpha GM and alpha HC, Vrabel fits that for HC. The problem is Woody is enabled by Hymie and Ira who are embedded — and human leeches like that don't like alpha's around to challenge them. Woody can 100% land Vrabel. If he doesn't, you know why and the dysfunction will continue. If he does, it would show a new era of competence.

  14. I cant wait for the season to be over and the second interviews start. The GM is obviously as important as the HC. Really interested in seeing what happens.

  15. The best thing Woody can do for fans(short of selling the team 😂)… is to let the new GM & HC do their thing and to not meddle at all. Just stay out of day to day operations. Ban your spoiled kids from the locker room and just leave the team alone. As a Jets fan, the ONLY thing I actually want Woody to do for us is to announce plans on building a New Stadium of our own! 🏟️ One that is actually IN New York(Queens or Long Island). I don’t care when it happens, just get the damn ball rolling. So while our New HC & GM are rebuilding our team & culture, Woody can be building us & our team a new home. Something to look forward to. If both those things are happening, I guarantee you the Jets curse will finally be broken.

  18. Hope everyone had a great safe holiday!! In terms of the GM job, I think it depends on whether that person wants to deal with Aaron and a lot of disgruntled players who may or may not want out. Whoever this new GM is needs to completely rehaul this roster.

  25. JD was primarily a scout. If he had a more assertive character and could "command the room", I suspect Woody would act differently? The current problem is a history a hiring rookie GMs and learning on the job. If Woody hires an experienced GM, Woody might be more deferential to that person's expertise. Same goes for hiring an experienced Head Coach who is not learning on the job..
