  1. …was waiting for stories on this one, as I was listening this morning about it on a talk show. Well, the word is out. However, let's not forget this is a team that…didn't like Coach Cassidy; he's too hard on them. And Swayman didn't like arbitration..going to get them; I am taking business courses. Now, Pasta doesn't like what the Captain said. Honestly, man, Marchy has a lot in the tank. Any team to get him is lucky; will put a playoff team over the top. EDIT: Marchy had 3 surgeries, so he didn't get to do what he normally does in the off-season as the great Pro that he is…something the rest of the Bruins should take notise on, as most came to camp out of shape! That said, he got back on track later than normal. No idea why Pasta doesn't listen to the Captain as most of Bruins Nation was calling out Pasta for months and wanted him gone.

  2. Pasta already came out and said the whoever created the story is just trying to get a paycheque and that he never has stated this to management

  3. This whole story is a complete fabrication. Pasta and Marchand, not to mention the rest of the Bruins even joked about this. Leave it to YouTube to report it as facts. If you're going to spread lies like this, don't bother doing hockey. Go do celebrity gossip.

  4. Boston – Vancouver (Big trade?)

    Assuming all involved waive their no trade clauses)

    Boston Trades:
    – David Pastrnak
    – Pavel Zacha
    – Joonas Korpisalo (840k retained or 28% retained on 3m)
    – Ryan Mast
    – 2026 7th [BOS}

    Vancouver Trades:
    – Elias Pettersson
    – Connor Garland
    – Kevin Lankinen
    – Arturs Silovs
    – 2027 3rd [VAN}

    Why both teams should do this. Because maybe both star players making above 11m need new starts in new cities, a change of scenery. The Canucks need a real second line center at a good price, Zacha. The Bruins could use a speedy, local, gritty, endearing forward in Garland, assuming they would also mutually want to sign long-term.

    Why neither teams should do this. Just because there is “rumored” drama, does not mean players should be traded. Nonetheless, it is hard to deny that both teams are currently going through a slump, and could benefit from a shake up, and changing coaches again in either of these hockey meccas also seems imprudent.

    Only time will tell. (And likely nothing will happen, and both teams can hash it out in the cup finals, or they both can miss the playoffs.)
