  1. Having settled before arbitration with most of our players except Michael King, the Padres are still going to be a good team in 2025 regardless of what happens with Roki Sasaki. I expect Sasaki signs with the Padres and we are going to make other moves

  2. The Eric Hosmer contract never made any sense to me. The Padres had Wil Myers and didn't need Hosmer. He eventually proved that point. Millard forgot the Madison Bumgarner contract with the DBacks.

  3. The Padres are a hot nasty mess right now. Roki being named in a lawsuit filed in Austin TX must have mortified him. He is a private person and his name is now on headlines here and in Japan. I’m sure he is being inundated with media wanting a response. It was completely unnecessary and unfortunate. Extremely embarrassing and an unforced fatal error.
