  1. Super stars who back up their play vs clowns that dance around arrogance. The only time manny made the World Series was with the Dodgers and will be the only time. Profar acting soft, when they had Soto it was worse. I said San Diego was done game three was their last glory for a long time.

  2. or the Padres can hire the Angels' Anthony Rendon and pay him $240mil to hit 22 homeruns in 5 seasons, something Ohtani can do in 1.5 months.

  3. Padres fan here. Pads have a huge payroll with Machado, Bogearts , Cronenworh, Darvish, etc. and all these guys are over 30. Then add Tatis' salary. The window Preller was going for as 2022 to 2024. They depleted their farm for this chance and kept the two guys they plan on bringing up when ready. Dodgers have made good moves this year and so why should the Padres waste money just to fail? Better to do a mini-rebuild and try to dismantle the aging, overpriced veterans at some point. Lastly, the owner Siedler died a few years ago so there might have been an ownership change of direction.

Profar was not that great until last year. Arreaz only hits singles and does not walk. Cease walks a lot of folks but still needed, in my opinion, since Musgrove is already out for the year with Tommy John surgery. And Musgrove's condition might have been another reason Preller decided to not push for a chance to win this year. Wait til next year when Musgrove returns.

  4. Lifelong Dodgers fan here and let me be as clear as I can regarding SD being our rival.

padre fans see us as their rival. I promise that is as one sided as you can get.

The Dodgers only legit rival in the NL West is SF no matter how much sd swears they hate us.

    And that's the truth.

  5. 😭I hate my life right now. This off season has been worst than last year, but we ended up doing better than anyone expected. I don't see that happening twice in a row, so I'm prepared to witness a terrible season, but you never know. Okay I'm gonna go back to crying again. Actually I will be making a new video soon with my reaction to the Sasaki and Scott signing.

  6. Don't think Dodgers are going after him now. But if they really decide to get the other Kim, Ha Seong Kim, that would absolutely be the icing on the cake on their offseason.

  7. The MLB is completely broken and it’s rapidly becoming unwatchable outside of the top markets. Yet MLB media shills and fans from these markets will pretend it’s great for the game and everything is fine

  8. If the Padres ever learn how to play baseball and quit show boat and being so arrogant, maybe they’d get some respect. But they’re arrogance and terrible antics on the field. They deserve everything they get. I can’t stand that organization.

  9. I might sound incoherent in this comment, my apologies as I am typing this while babysitting my wife’s boyfriend’s children. As a diehard padres fan since 2020, I am disgusted by everyone choosing to go to the dodgers. I will be taking the lead from my wife’s boyfriend and boycotting MLB (he really has forced me to do so!).

  10. In this case it is ownership. The Padres lost the person who loved the team and was willing to do what it takes to get them a chip. Now there is nothing but infighting and distractions. Plus I think they got cursed once they got Machado from the Dodgers. His dirty plays and arrogant persona just made him toxic.

  11. At this point with all the problems that are happening with the padres. They're gonna pick up their bags. And they're heading for Oakland and they're going to be called the Oakland padres.😂😂😂😂😂

  12. Being a small market team does not help. LA has unlimited deep pockets and the padres can't really compete. Dodgers and the Yankees need to form another league of their own.
