  1. What’s dan expertise? Offense or defense. Glenn is a solid D guy with his own schemes, Ben johnson was the same but for the offence.

  2. Thanks for everything AG! Best of luck and hopefully you will be the one to finally turn it around for the Jets.

  3. It’ll be nice to see Rodgers have a positive male role model as he sits 2nd on the depth chart.

  4. Good for him. Thanks for working with a tough hand and developing the guys to be all pros.

AG you were a BIG part of the turnaround.

  5. I genuinely think AG will be a better HC than Ben Johnson. He has better leadership qualities

  6. Heard he might take Brunell with him. It’s a rumor but that would be an interesting choice.

  7. This is an easier pill to swallow than BJ leaving. Best of luck to AG, but I always felt like we could do better anyway.

  8. well at least Sauce will be developing better into next year, i hope he does well. thank you for leaving the division!

  9. I wish AG nothing but the best especially against the Bears. I hope he does a great job out there until it’s time to play the Lions

  10. A great leader and will develop a culture the team so desperately needs but I gotta think he’ll be fired in 3 years by an owner who demands everyone refer to him as “Mr. Ambassador” and let’s his teenage son influence trades because of Madden ratings. It won’t be because he was a bad coach, it’ll be because of ownership’s inability to look in the mirror.

  11. I’m choosing to take him and BJ departing as a positive. We finally have a team and a culture other teams want a piece of. I trust BH and MCDC fully when it comes to replacing these guys, and I have no reason to believe the Lions will be any worse next season without them.

  12. AG better brush up on those Madden rankings for when Woody Johnson’s children decided who the team is drafting…

  13. Congrats to AG, I genuinely wish him the best of luck in what is going to be a very challenging job. However, if anybody can do it, it’s AG.

Now, hopefully, he doesn’t take anybody from our staff with him.

  14. I was hoping he’d go to the Saints. New Orleans cap is fucked, but Jets ownership is fucked, and i think he’d be more likely to find success with the the Saints (eventually).

Either way, all the best to him.

  15. Bring me Saleh and use those picks to bolster the defense further! Forward down the field!

  16. I’m sad to see him go. I think he got some tough breaks here. Would have loved to see what he could do with a fully healthy defense for a season, but after coaching for eleven years, this man deserves a HC job. Congrats, Aaron!

  17. I’m happy he’s getting his shot. I love that he’s not going to a division rival, but I wouldn’t wish the Jets on an enemy

  18. Good for him. It’s going to be a tough job. Wish him nothing but success, unless it’s against Detroit in anyway.
