3. As a Huge Dallas fan…my main worry is they lack toughness & size come playoff time

5. Dallas has the #1 overall defense in the league and this is with Matt Dumba playing.

17. I honestly cannot decide if they need a big, puck eating defensive D man like Tanev or a veteran PP merchant type to win the Cup. I feel like both might be necessary.

I highly recommend TEG channel to all who all here and love what Shannon does… even if you don’t follow some of the stuff on TEG channel…I find it incredibly interesting and entertaining content. Plus he (and Yvonne !) save me from sometimes watching terrible movies lol. And also get me excited about shows, events or movies, etc, I otherwise would’ve have thought about watching. It’s a little bit of everything and it’s great. And always lovely to see Yvonne when she pops in over there as well! 😊

24. As a Dallas fan, I have to admit that I was worried at the beginning of the season and even more worried when Seguin went out. Now I’m cautiously optimistic that this team can go all the way this year. Maybe one more piece on defense and we’ll be set. GO STARS!

25. I’m predicting Dallas will get bounced in the first round against Colorado

26. Looks like it might be a high-seeded Western Conference team against a wild card from the east or the other way around like in '06 when the second seed faced the wild card in the Finals. That year's Finals went to game 7 and the second seed from the east won 3-1 in that final game, defeating the Western Conference wild card and clinching the Cup.

27. Benn may be overpaid but he is a UFA at the end of the year. Doesn't really matter

28. Losing Miro for any length of time is a tough blow, but I have been enjoying seeing Bichsel have the opportunity to step up and show what he can do. Ilya Lyubushkin has actually been a sneaky good pickup for us this year, and Esa Lindell is arguably the best penalty killer in the league. All that being said, it does still feel like something is missing on defense and I'm not opposed to shoring that up, but I really would hate to sacrifice one of our younger players to make that happen. In my heart, I would love to swap out Dumba for a different right-handed defenseman that would be able to adapt to our system better. He seems like a perfectly nice person, but I don't feel as though his assets outweigh his liabilities in Dallas. I know that's probably wishful thinking though.

29. Lindell is one of the most underrated players in the NHL. Major reason the defense is so stout and the Penalty Kill is #2 in the league. Plus he is an 200 foot empty net sniper

32. Are the Stars Cup contenders?……..;Of course they are, but there are a number of teams that one can say that about. Will they win the Cup?…..Only time will tell.

38. It's a bummer Dallas doesn't have their 1st or 2nd round pick this year. Was really hoping they'd get to draft Blake Fiddler this year, but he's likely going in the 2nd round at the latest

39. Think they’re one of the best built teams in the league. Good balance of offense and D, mix of veterans and youth, great goal tending
