Ideally Matthew Schaefer is available but if James Hagens is available having another high end center isn't a bad thing
Hagens is growing
Would it be possible to draft both Schaefer and Jackson Smith?
Any chance we can use that Dallas 1st round to get Marner?
Any of the top-4 guys would be great, but we gotta also get Victor
If we cant get Schaefer, i would rather the sharks get Misa. Misa atleast can play LW as well. We can put him with Mack or Smith.
Alex Huang would be great in the later rounds. Puck moving RD.
If Shark’s can’t get Schaefer then sorry but gimme Martone over Hagens to play on Celebrini’s wing.
Eklund-Celebrini-Martone
That top line for the next 5 years has me hyped
Hagens is playing at a tougher level but I think Misa has leapfrogged him.
One question…I am sure you are already preparing an episode about this 🙂 …since the Sharks sent out 2 contracts to Dallas, do you think they are making space to take on one or two cap dumps? Were you planning to discuss some options or which players might be candidates?
I want Hagens the least out of the top 4. We already have 2 stud smaller centers. If he’s BPA ok, but I’d rather have the D or wings by FAR. Or honestly trade the pick (if we can’t get Schaeffer) to someone desperate for Hagens to get a stud D
Is we don’t get Schaefer
It’s misa> hagens or Martone all day long lmfao misa plays on same line as our draft pick last year Igor and they’ve looked dynamite together if we picked hagens or martone over him I’d be pretty bummed if we don’t get Schaefer or misa
Cannot see the Sharks passing on either Schafer or Misa. If SJ gets Hagens, it’s because they missed out on tur first two picks.
Martone is 1W kinda like a Corey Perry, so torn with this draft. Chicago picking #1 might take BPA Schaefer but they are already loaded on D. If we win lottery balls Schaefer. Pick at #2 will be mysterious, esp. if CHI is #1 might get Schaefer anyways. Buffalo won’t take Schaefer at #1, no idea about Nashville. I think at #2 we gotta take Hagens over Misa BPA then maybe package him in a trade for a #1 D-man if it shakes out that someone else grabs Schaefer, could trade for a guy like Rasmus Dahlin or Owen Power potentially. Anyways, Hagens behind Celly at 2C would be insane. At #3 Martone/Misa dealers choice because both are big/rangey and can play a power-forward winger role.
