I doubt Vancouver would be willing to deal Soucy to the Oilers. On the other hand, since Seattle is so far out from a playoff spot, it'd be a lot more likely they'd be willing to deal Oleksiak.
Actually need to make Eleksiak and Soucy happen at the same time. Shore up defence and make us harder to play against. Then have Kane come back to add some punch up front. Checkmate.
I like oleksiak. I also don’t think it would cost a first with enough retention to also bring in a solid 4C. If Ekholm goes down in playoffs, he can be a guy that plays a similar role.
