  1. It'd be epic if we got a D-Backs vs Seattle Mariners World Series. The best offense against the best pitching. Mariners would win because pitching is king in the playoffs.

  2. Another reason they didn't make the playoffs is because Suarez struck out 176 times. Difficult to make the playoffs when one of your best hitters strikes out like his job. Ohtani and Judge strike out like it's their job as well and choked in the playoffs.

  3. I am one of the few people who doesn't think the Dodgers will match or surpass the Mariner's record of most wins in a season. My reasoning has been that their division is nails, any other division the Diamondbacks, Padres and even the Giants would be 1st place teams. With all of that competition in the NL West, and even just the NL in general,I have a hard time thinking the Dodgers will steam roll the division enough to reach 116 wins.

  4. The club went to the State of Arizona and asked for money to revamp the stadium. In other words they wanted the State to pay for luxury boxes. The State said no, so did the City of Phoenix. So the club said no worries, we'll just raise prices on everything. And they did. So I only went to TWO games last season. My problem is with ownership, not the players. Yes, they might carry themselves into a deep run in the playoffs but most of us in the valley will watch it on television or listen on radio.

  5. Their rotation got better with Burnes and I sincerely think Montgomery is going to come around. Not to mention Naylor's energy suits them. I have then finishing 2nd in the division

  6. I like Arizona their my 2nd favorite team behind the Mariners and their a dangerous team if they get to the postseason, they’re also pretty young so they’re gonna be dangerous for a couple years too

  7. I just find it weird that you waited until Ketel Marte to dunk on the Mariners instead of bringing up how we gave Geno to Arizona for AAAA scrubs

  8. HARSH TAKE:
Despite one of youngest franchises in MLB since 1998, the DBacks have historically more successful run than the Padres (1969) and deserve more respect. They have the same number of WS appearances as the Padres, they won WS in their 4th season in existence (2001). And if there is one team to completely stop the Dodgers is the Snakes.

Teams who have stopped the Dodgers in the NL postseason series went on to reach WS. Well except the Madres.

  9. I do expect that the D-Backs having a better season than the Padres. But the Dodgers are still the best in the west and reigning champs so they (Arizona) needs to bring it.

  10. As a life long dodgers fan when the dbacks made the wildcard and lost i think in 21 or 22 i got worried because they were gonna be scary for the next 5 years with how young their team was and its proving itself
