1. JD5, Newton, Sandristil, Ill even say Luke his last name holds weight, Big Ben.

2. I think a more realistic trade is two 1st rounds and Jerzan Newton, it would hurt but I would still make that trade, it you would have JA, Daron, and Myles on the same line, I would not hate that at all

3. You keep on talking about Garrett as the best edge setting run stopper. He isn't! That would be Khalil Mack (rated #2 run stopper by PFF in 2024). Yes, i know Mack is older, but he is a free agent, so you're not losing any draft picks, nor do you need to commit to a record-breaking contract extension that Garrett will probably require. If AP decides Garrett is the way to go, then im on-board. However, he is definitely not the only or even the best option available. Whichever route they go, I just hope the decision is made soon so the media feeding frenzy will stop.

Our 1st rd draft picks are this year high 20s i think 29 and next year will be the same. You aren't finding anyone in the draft making a Myles Garrett affect. Plus we fill our biggest need. Pass rush and run stopper. And still have 7 more draft picks this year to fill holes

23. I would drive Luke to Cleveland for this trade. Do whatever you need to acquire Miles. Of course be sensible and responsible. The draft is a crapshoot. How many of last year’s draft Picks have been successful ? What’s the story regarding drafted offensive linemen ?

32. We need a WR that will come in and be fine as WR2. If the WR isn't getting the ball while open like McCaffrey, will he still be a team player or complain? Don't forget, even McLaurin complained "I ran a lot of cardo" in the past. Is Deebo really the answer?

33. a few thoughts:

    1. I don't disagree that the Browns first choice to send Garrett to might be the Commanders (because a part of their thinking might be to require a 2026 draft pick along with the 1st from this year and they might be considering the idea that washington won't be as successful in '25 and so that pick could be worth a lot more) BUT How could we think the Eagles aren't close behind in consideration? Their GM is the most aggressive GM perhaps in ALL pro sports and living in the Philly market, I can tell you it's Garrett has been a frequent conversation all over the area since the super bowl ended.

    2. It's my opinion that "stopping the run" is at least slightly more complex than "just add Myles Garrett". There are still serious concerns inside and at least some thought that scheme is also a contributing factor. I'm sure the host here agrees that it just doesnt get solved by adding Garrett and that's more likely a starting point. But that's how I would prefer the labeling of adding Garrett: a starting point for stopping the run. I mean, one simple thought that everybody I think but is just suppressing it is "ok, they'll just run to the opposite side of Garrett."

34. I look at that cap space chart for us this way. Yes, we have several players that did a lot of snaps, that we need to sign/replace. But that's actually a good sign that AP knew what he was doing; he signed players to "1-yr prove it deals", that came through; Wagner, Chinn, Fowler, Iggy, OZ, Ertz. So now we need to get them to sign back with us, which this year (compared to past years), should be easier. In addition we should re-sign Way, Mariota, Lucas, Day, K, Bellore, and RB depth.
    Prob upgrades needed (?) Crowder, Walker, Deiter, Bates, Holmes, Scott, Driskel.

41. We have to wait until it's almost the start of the very first OTA. What we all found out is that what's going on will not leak out until the front office is made up what's happening We going to be guessing what the commanders going to do all off season

42. I wouldn't do that trade because I believe we will find a way to use Luke. Remember, it took awhile to figure out how best to use Dyami. Likewise, I think it's gonna take awhile to figure out how to use Luke. From Luke's perspective, he still hasn't figured out his role on this team. Finally, let's not forget that zlukr was also someone we considered for work in the backfield, which doesn't bode well for Deebo.

43. I’m all in for Miles Garrett. I’d give a 1st, John Allen and a 2026 2nd. I’d go after Khalil Mack (1yr deal) as well. These dogs are older but can still hunt. I’d go after Zack Martin if Dallas doesn’t sign him and cut Andrew Wylie. Zack can play every position on the OL. Also if we could somehow squeeze in Talanoa Hufanga if we can’t resign Chinn. Lastly Ronnie Stanley (Ravens) and DJ Reed (Jets).

48. I hate to play Devil's advocate, but I would not do this trade. I feel that a lot of fans are chasing the name and not the reality. Myles Garrett is 29 and will be looking for a last big payday. At 29, it is not guaranteed that he will perform like he has in CLE in past years. Even if it is a couple of low 1st rounds, I do not think multiple picks is worth the gamble. I believe in Adam Peters and this staff. This was year one, and look at what they have already done. Let's see what Adam Peters can do in year 2. We are not a player or 2 away from being elite. Let's build long term through the draft. For the most part, this team overachieved this year. There are plenty players that superstars on their old teams, but are average on their new teams. We already have an example in Marshon Lattimore. We hope he will be his old self in '25, but he was liability in '24.
