  1. Dodgers like talent but they do not sign head cases. Our big signings have been Mookie, Freddie, Shohei, Teo, and Snell. None of these guys have drama on or off the field and in fact they are all pretty good dudes. Yanks clubhouse will be better in 2025 with the departures of Gleyber, Rizzo, and Soto and the addition of Beli and Goldscmidt.

  2. It BS on the part of the Yankees. Stroman has a clause in his contract that if he pitches 150, a 3rd year automatically vests for 2026 at $18.3 million. Stroman agreed to his contract figuring the Yankees would act in good faith and allow him a chance to reach that incentive. By putting him in the bullpen, they did not. They are simply trying to get from having to pay him.😊

  3. I know he has a bad attitude and the shit he says can be wild
However he’s a SP he signed the contract as a SP he has the right to be angry over it
Yankees just don’t him reaching 140 innings that’s what it’s over I bet

  4. If George Steinbrenner were alive today, Marcus Stroman would be ex-communicated from the Yankees to eternity. What happened to the ‘evil empire’ Yankees of yesteryear?

  5. Stroman is as advertised, he has been vocal in all of his stops and he has had a chip the whole time, likely due to his treatment early in his career due to his stature.

That being said, I don’t have an issue with him saying he is a starter, especially if that incentive is in his contract. I want the dude as fired up as possible on the field (without stepping over to unhinged).
His numbers don’t seem that awful compared to his career as a whole so its not like he is washed and not serviceable as a starter either

  6. He's a pending free agent and has an option that's triggered by an incentive to pitch, so I'm not surprised at his reluctance to go to the pen. It's a negotiating point, like anything else.

  7. Get rid of Stroman, he wasn't good last year, and yet he wants the starter, he doesn't put the work in. I knew when they signed this bum that he'll be a problem. Get rid of him before
