   He isn’t concerned with being good. He just wants to be competitive. He lied to the entire organization by saying the payroll is $5 million higher now than last year.

4. This is an absolute joke! You want family day go to the zoo ! This is a pro baseball team, you’re in it to win a World Series! Mark is a flat out liar about his payroll and should be forced to sell this team! This is absurd and he is a laughingstock! Let’s see the attendance when they are in last place, and let’s see how well these comments sit with the players that want to win, not to just collect their check, which we have a ton of those already! PATHETIC!!

8. It’s clear that he was trying to walk back his comments after being caught with the mask off. His words aside, the way we’ve spent money shows we don’t want to compete. I get we can’t be the Yankees or Dodgers, but we can do more than what’s currently happening

9. Attanasio bought the Brewers for $223 million in '04. They're now worth five times that amount. And even though Attanasio is principal owner, it was known in 2021 that the ownership group was made up of 17 people at that time.

   They have money. What percentage of their annual budget are they spending on the 40 man roster? 40%? 30%? 20%?

   How many other investments are the Brewers organization underwriting that aren't contributing to the Brewers acquiring talented players?

   Everyone surrounding this organization is too committed and driven for our ownership to not be all in.

Antanasio owns a Soccer team in England and he wants to buy one in Portugal and he wants to have a minor league soccer team here.He gets money from major league baseball from the taxes that big spenders.So he is being cheap with the Brewers so he can have his Soccer teams.If he stop paying for soccer teams then we could spend players to win a championship

11. The Brewers mission statement should only be to win endless World Series. Anything else is missing the point! The Green Bay Packers and the New York Yankees do not miss the point. They understand their one and only goal. All fun filled family atmospheres happen when a franchise is a championship oriented franchise. What Attanasio said or what was interpreted by the press is irrelevant. The goal I stated above is the only thing that should matter. If that is not in place as a mission statement then the Brewers are a nothing team like too many – and like I care about other teams……

12. This has gotten way over blown. He just didn't word it right. But he does need to open up the pocket book. Hopefully he will next year when there are some great free agents next year.

14. I could very quickly list 10 or more teams that I am glad we are not…The best move the Brewers have made is building one of the nicest stadiums in the league. Without that, we wouldn't have baseball in Milwaukee I do believe. I'm happy to root on the blue collar team that put their hearts into every at bat and thrive on making brilliant defensive plays every game…If we are a farm system for the big dogs, so be it.
