  1. clickbait. They scored on a sac fly and an error. How many RBIs were credited? That's how many scored on the sac fly. edit: I checked. marte got 2 rbis in the game so one of these didn't score on the sac fly.

  2. Spring training games mean literally nothing, look how bad the Dodgers are playing.

It's just teams getting their sea legs before the season starts.

  3. Its Tovar, hes got a great head on his shoulders and is one of the best defensive shortstops ive seen. 1 errant throw on the second day of spring training matters zilch. Not a fan of how Hilliard played that ball, but thats Doyle's turf, so also not worried. Dont get me wrong, rockies wont be competing this year, they just dont have the pitching nor the big bat, but a silly miscue like this indicates nothing.

  4. Spring Training or not… that's piss poor baseball. Even with usually good defense, these guys look bush league. They have the best home park for offense in all of baseball, but struggle to score runs. Their pitching is always trash, be it starters or relievers. The club never seems to improve and their owner runs the team like a hair-brained idiot. He won't even trade players who are impending free agents that he knows he won't re-sign. It's pretty pitiful in Denver, it really is. It's hard not to have a bad perception of that ball club.

  5. The start of spring training is like back to school after summer break. Gotta figure things out again, meet your friends, talk to the new kids. In other words, this is just a blip at the start of pointless games until the season starts

  6. This is so early in Spring Training that only 2 pitchers that are even on the 40-man pitched for the Rockies, and none pitched for the DBacks; I doubt either team is too worried, but I guarantee that the DBacks are annoyed with all of the BBs they gave up lol

I'm more worried about how the PAs look from the offense, and 3 BB/4 K for the DBacks offense wasn't too bad (11 groundouts on the other hand, is not good)

  7. I don’t care about spring training, that’s the whole point for them to work out the kinks before the season. Now giving us Rockies fans some hope? 😂 you’re too kind. Clearly we still have many mortal sins to be repaid 😢

  8. I guess the positive takeaway is they did it in a spring training game and hopefully can learn something from it ongoing.🤷‍♂ The bad thing is this is more likely going to be the story of their season.😂
