    For younger fans, a “VHS tape” was a magnetic tape enclosed in a rectangular cassette, onto which pictures and sound could be recorded from the TV signal.

    A “cassette” or “cassette tape” was a small rectangular box in which 2 circular reels held the ends of the tape, with the tape rolled onto one reel or the other by the player/recorder transport mechanism dependent on the direction of rotation.

    Ok, ok, all this kind of tech predates the ability to stream games from the internet by a *considerable* margin. 🙂

  6. I went to a game watch party at the hippodrome on a London work trip right before Covid. She was there, that game watch was a blast even though we lost (surprise).

    I still follow the club. It’s a great club.

  7. Walked past the place in 2019 with my family at the same time as a load of international fans were in London for the international games. Managed to speak to a few but kicking myself I never got to schedule appropriately to show my fandom to my wife and girls.

    Happy days. Not jealous. 🙂

  9. I partied with them during the Browns Bills snow game from 15 years or so ago. It was somehow on TV on Sky Sports. They took ten quid from me before the game and proceeded to get me college drunk.

  10. She’s a sweetheart and puts a ton of effort into supporting the browns in London. Good for her.

  11. She put a lot of work into making the last game in London an awesome experience, pretty cool for her and well deserved!
