  1. We’ve already shocked the world. 24 scoreless innings hadn’t been done in 33 years in the playoffs. Pretty shocking to say the least. AJ has no hardware and he’s been at this 11 years. Two more seasons to get it done.

  6. I would say tell the media to stop asking him questions about the Dodgers Manny is going to answer questions and many will respond with answers I love how he treats the media on his good days and bad days be straight up with them

  7. I don't think there is anything wrong about talking about SD's biggest rival LA. It just gets old because the talk really hasn't been backed up. Maybe this year will be different but I doubt it!🟡🟤⚾

  8. If I played for the Padres I'd have a talk with AJ first and find out exactly what kind of team he was planning on putting on the field. After letting so many players walk and then possibly Trading Dylan Cease and maybe more, I think I would keep my mouth shut and just go about my work quietly. This is not the team you brag about publicly with. Wait and see if you can even win a wild card, let alone beating the Dodgers for the division. Let your bats and your pitching speak for you, IF THEY CAN.

  11. Ben, you need an ego to play this game. You need a cocky guy who can be an asshole at times. Would rather have a dude like Manny who is unafraid as opposed to a milk toast media friendly phony. Guys are drawn to this.

  15. Manny has been with SD for over 5 or 6 years and still can’t get over the fact the dodgers didn’t offer him a contract, all he does is talk and talk about the dodgers , He’s the leader of the team? How did that work out ? I know how-24 scoreless innings

  18. Here is the thing, he keeps getting asked. I dislike Manny but he keeps having to answer questions tot he reporters that are obsessed with the Dodgers. I mean your local channel puts up BEAT LA images on their broadcast. The obsession with the Dodgers runs deep in SD. Manny is just responding though he needs to put his money where his mouth is.

  21. I’m not a Dodgers fans, but I’ll say this: The Dodgers don’t measure themselves by who they beat, but by winning Championships. There not the least bit concerned in beating their rivals, or playing spoiler. It’s championship or bust. And as much as I hate to say it, the Dodgers are currently in their Golden Age (that started in 2020). That means their championship window is open for the next 3-5 years.

  24. We all know manny is not very articulate. He probably meant to say we can't wait to face them and give them a hell of a fight or something along the lines. Or at least that's what he should of said lol
