Hello folks. Welcome to the second season of the BirdWatcher Channel!. This channel will feature the standard play-by-play for all games in the regular season and postseason, as well as any televised games during the spring.
Today, a very exciting moment in Spring 2025, as the best young pitcher in baseball, Paul Skenes will get the start for the Pirates, while the Orioles have a promising young hurler of their own, left-hander Cade Povich, is looking to build off a very good first appearance this spring. This is already the third meeting between these two sides in eight days and there are several more to play. We still await the debut (and return) of Felix Bautista, but today might come a bit too soon. Tyler O’Neill has yet to be seen on a broadcast, hopefully he will make the lineup. Baltimore’s offense has been exploding in the first week of Grapefruit League play. Jackson Holliday had a homerun and a stolen base in yesterday’s win over the Twins. Perhaps with this being the second outing for the starting pitchers, we will see three innings from Povich versus Skenes. Enjoy!
