  1. Shohei Ohtani only hit a home run off a pitcher who is still adjusting, so it wasn't anything special. That's why he didn't even smile after hitting the home run. Moreover, this was his only hit of the day, and in his remaining two at-bats, he failed to get a hit, falling short of Juan Soto's level of performance. t's hard to call someone the greatest player ever based on just one hit in three at-bats. Perhaps it's time to pass that title to Juan Soto.
