1. Evander Kane the gambler…you guys think like normies. Do you honestly believe that the "fix" wasn't in since before the start of the season? Cmon grow up.

2. We gave up Holloway, Broberg, Foggel, and replaced them with slower versions…….what did we expect?

8. Completely disagree with the notion that this team is worse. A few weeks ago they were 1st in the Pacific & 3rd in the league. Every single analytical metric (minus PK randomly falling off) has them in the top half of the league. They cannot get a save. They’re giving up crucial/back breaking goals at horrific times. Aside from the goals going in, it’s the timing of them that’s completely killing them.

   Could the team play better? Absolutely. Do good teams go through this type of blip? Sometimes, although this is a longer one. Is this team better than last year? If players start playing to their potential, yes. The ceiling on this team is higher, it’s about getting them to play like that. Knoblauch sitting Skinner for players like Janmark/Kapanen is doing more damage to this team than good.

   McDavid’s been slumping along with Ekholm and Bouch. This will turn around. Adding Kane and a solid top 4 D will do wonders. Also send Klingberg into the sun, he was a stud once, but he can’t skate anymore.

12. We’ve played soooo much better than we have last year guys. We were last in the league lost sooo many in a row. You guys sound like Toronto media. John klingburg is fine. We were first in the division not that long ago and there were stretches in the season skinner looked more confident and more of a skilled goalie I’ve ever seen. Give these guys a break. They also suck after long breaks or no playing stretches. We are not significantly worse.. bouch needs to get going and so does stew. Everyone else has there’s ups and downs period. It's crazy how Vegas, Florida, and Tampa easily get their players to buy into sitting on LTIR for their collective benefit to win in the playoffs…Yet when we have the opportunity Kane is spitting in our faces and disrupting our ability to do anything. Just goes to show the type of person Evander Kane. Selfish selfish selfish. We are trying to win a Stanley Cup. Sit out, let as add players and come back in the playoffs. 18. Oilers foward group in general is slow. Most are usually take half second more to pass or shoot the puck. So I agree with Frank, it is much different. They lost tons of speed

19. I really don't see the issue here – we need Kane to be successful, and we shouldn't give him away. Getting him would be like getting a player in a big trade – and I think he'll be fine in the Playoffs….. if we can get there

26. Thanks Frank for telling it the way it is. In retrospect letting Foegle go & replacing him with Arvidsson hasn't worked out. I still think the return for McLeod was not fair value. Then letting both Broberg & Holloway get poached for next to nothing is a major indictment on Ken Holland and Jeff Jackson. JJ screwed this team with his insistence on valuing older slower veterans instead of protecting the younger players who were drafted and developed by the previous GM. Seriously prioritizing Henrique, Perry and Jeff Skinner and Arvidsson was a bone head move. Now this team is thinking about moving Evander Kane for what reason? He is exactly what they need a power forward who hits fights & scores. Yet knowing this group they will give him away for some magic beans. The Oilers won't win until the Owner starts making better decisions on who he gets to be the President and GM imo.😢

33. Like we need another superstar………trade mcdavid for 2 top shelf D, 1 forward and a goalie. We would be winning the cup. 10 teams won the cup since mcdavid was in the league without him. Leon plays better when he has to step up and we cannot keep all our cards in 1 player.

Take us back to the past and find a way to keep Broberg and Holloway. According to the stats they're doing very well on a mediocre Blues team. Broberg is the defenseman we're now looking for because we let him go and I sure would love to see Holloway playing with Leon again. The holes in the lineup created by their departure are still there, something that's becoming more and more obvious as we approach the end of the regular season. There are other holes as well, but they are the big ones. Oh well. It was great while it lasted. Just heard a loud bang! It was the Cup window closing!

44. I wonder if the Oilers giving up a first, Picard and a player for Gibson and Gudas, with Anaheim retainig half of Gibson's salary could be a possibility. I know in the past Gudas didn't want to play in Edmonton, but maybe he changes his mind like Gibson seems to have??? Not sure what player the Oilers would be giving up would be though. Savoie comes to mind. That is a lot of future I guess but they would be getting that hard nosed, reliable, defensive minded Dman, they are so badly in need of. Just a thought. I'm guessing to make the money work another skater would have to go back to the Ducks as well, with nobody really wanting to waive their no trade clause I guess that may be real tough, unless Klingberg would work? I noticed Gibson left the game a bit shaken up tonight as well , but was thinking that may just to be super precautious as well, with the deadline coming real fast.
