  1. Woll has played in 33 games 'already' this season; while Stolarz has 'only' appeared in 23. Woll's 33 games- 'only' 3/4s of the way through this season- is more than EITHER Leafs goalie has ever played in an ENTIRE NHL season, before (Woll's previous career high of 25 GP, last season; Stolarz's previous [and still] career high of 28 GP, in 2021-2022). Woll is probably not used to playing this much hockey, at that level, in such a 'short' time span (the fact that he is just coming off the flu doesn't help matters much, either [nor does the fact that this was against an elite Cup-contending team!]!). Sam is probably right that fatigue is a factor in this first time being pulled, in his NHL career…

  2. Crazy, Bérubé needs to challenge the whole team. Stop worrying so much about feelings. How many times do the Leafs have to crap the bed for things to be different….

  3. The Leafs are one player injury away from not having a group of forwards who can score and a D core that can defend. When Matthews, Nylander and Tavares have been out in previous playoffs they can’t score. When Tanev is injured, they are exposed. It comes back to the flawed roster construction that is so established it should have its own Wikipedia page.

  4. You know it's a brutal game when Knies feeding Whitecloud his lunch at puck drop doesn't come up in the first 10 minutes of post-game discussion
