[Highlight] Jaylen Brown heads to the bench after his fifth foul call

  1. He just tried to foul bait Pritchard. NBA is so ass with these type of plays man

  2. InB4 some Thunder fan makes another statistical analysis post about why SGA couldn’t possibly be a foul baiter and in fact it’s everyone else’s fault that his arms magically rip through defenders as a ghost uppercuts him.

  3. This league would be crazy if all the stars flailed there arms like that. Sure do hope the calls stop come playoff time

  4. But the Thunder fans will tell you how as a team they are near the bottom in fouls drawn

Nevermind the fact that we’re always talking about ONE PERSON doing this shit. Not the entire team as a whole

  5. Remember when the Thunder announcers were upset at the Nuggets for foul baiting? Love to hear what they would have to say to this 🙄

  6. Refs really held on for 3 quarters and then gave him anything he wanted 4th. Switching up like that is so annoying because you can’t adjust to it and just get blitzed by a run because the refs suddenly felt like it.

Shai’s been clutch too but he does not need this.

  7. Any time someone rocks their head back like that it should be a no call or flopping call. That is not a natural movement when driving to the basket or when someone touches your forearm.

  8. This shit bothers me so much because SGA legitimately averages the most points in the league if you take out free throws. He doesn’t need to do things like this. Same reason Harden doing it was so infuriating, they’re talented enough to get by without foul baiting like this.

  9. People in this chat really trying to pretend this isn’t an obvious foul? 😂

  10. Can someone pull up the video of SGA running to the hoop with Pritchard guarding him and then diving backwards like he was shot with a 50 cal lol

  11. It’s clearly a foul. You defend with your body, not your arms, but downvote me to hell because it doesn’t fit the Reddit narrative

  12. Players are gonna have to just start running into SGA and chucking the ball in the air

  13. I’m not unsympathetic to Celtic fans being livid about this and will reserve the right to feel the same when SGA baits Austin Reaves into five fouls before the fourth quarter but for now my petty side will totally enjoy this

  14. This is actually Donovan Mitchells signature foul drawing move right here. Wait for the defender to put a hand on your side/hip and then quickly pull up into a jumper. Looked pretty jank here probably cause of how slow SGA goes

  15. This one, and the one where Shai hooked Tatum’s arm to pull in to get a moving screen called were both so ridiculous

  16. Don’t be surprised if in the playoffs a team will have 1 or 2 designated guys to constantly foul sga or most foul baiters, intentionally. That way the officials are forced to either call every foul or hold their whistle. Timberwolves did it last year to nuggets

  17. The ole James Harden special. Embiid mastered this as well. Too bad it fucking sucks to watch

  18. The crying in this sub is insane, this is not good defense. He’s impeding the ball handlers movement with his right hand that’s not legal.

  19. This is some high level foul baiting at the end by SGA, but let’s not pretend that the reach in by Brown isn’t a foul. People claim the league ‘no longer has hand checking’ but Brown gets beat here and he basically holds out his whole arm to slow down SGA. It’s not just Brown either, the entire league defends with their hands all in people’s chests, so you can’t blame offensive players for selling contact to get foul calls. Personally I’d prefer they just bring back hand checking officially since everyone shoots so well. Points will still be scored but the bullshit ticky tack fouls would dry up
