Kumar Rocker vs Jack Leiter: Who should Texas Rangers select to make Opening Day rotation?

The Texas Rangers drafted Jack Leiter with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 MLB draft. This spring Leiter has looked excellent, yet a little erratic. Cody Bradford will start the season on the IL, leaving a rotation spot open. Kumar Rocker, Leiter’s Vanderbilt teammate is also vying for that spot.

Kumar Rocker and Jack Leiter are vying to make the Rangers’ rotation out of camp and any setback for the entrenched starters could pave the way for the Vandy Boys.

  2. We see the jump that Jack made in a year !rocker can do the exact same thing. He just needs more innings. Jack has pitched a lot more than him because he’s been healthy.
