swayman ……..waive this mofo……………for sure they traded the wrong goalie………………..8 milpiece of shit
you guys stop defendingthe 8 mil dud
No Swayman is a better goalie
Nope they picked the right one when your top two defenceman are out tough
Another Sweeney blunder, trading Ullmark before signing Swayman. Swayman is in the top ten highest paid goalies. Yet he is not even in the top twenty in wins, save percentage and goals against. His numbers don't lie, no more excuses for Swayman
Swayman is not the guy. He is not a number 1 goalie and he has showed it most of the year. Now your stuck with him
We are stuck with Swayman for at least five years too much money to dump the contract Sweeney must go
Hags works for the Boston Bruins people. Just keep that in mind.
I'm going to reserve judgement until next season, when the team is healthy. Sway showed us last year what he could be…..and the games against Florida and Tampa Bay he looked okay, so I wait until next season to judge.
This is Sway's first year as a starter, and it's been weird and dramatic as hell for the entire team. It isn't uncommon for goalies to underperform the first year after signing a big contract. Ully has only started 32 games this season. THIRTY-TWO. We've already lost Hampus (who may never be the same again) and McAvoy. Despite some real stinkers, I'm still glad that Swayman has stayed healthy.
If you take a person off the street who's never watched hockey and ask them to choose, they'll probably pick the young guy without an extensive injury history and has the same AAV who's shown he can be lights out during playoffs. It remains to be seen if he bounces back, but it's a better gamble to take.
Maybe not necessarily the wrong goalie but an 8 mil contract is too much
If we can get a top 10 pick I hope they pick the right C, we need Caleb desnoyers, he’s probably the closest lottery player to Bergeron, his IQ is off the charts, he’s already like 6’2” 185, we send him down one more year for junior, he’ll be the captain of his team he’ll probably be a leader on the WJC team, and by 2026-2027 he can probably step into a top 6 role.
I’ve been saying for a couple years that Ullmark was better than Swayman. Sucks that sway couldn’t have been more of a team player this past off season, would have been nice to see him take a little less money or shorter contract to avoid arbitration but can’t say I totally blame him, Sweeney gave him the leverage by dealing Ullmark early. With that being said I still think the sway contract works out. It was kind of the perfect storm of things going wrong for this season to have gone the way it has, the team hasn’t been good in front of sway and this is his first year having this level of work load. If sway was even decent this season we probably sneak into playoffs for better or worse. I think next year he is around 91-92 save percentage and we can put this season behind us.

Could we please, just for the sake of variety, bring in a guest that hasn’t given up completely on this team. Do you realize how ridiculous you sound? Oh, yeah, the schmucks on this roster don’t stand a chance. They should just lose every game for the rest of the season so they can get higher draft picks. Because first and second round draft picks NEVER disappoint or fail to live up to the hype, right. So all the money that the organization has wrapped up in the current roster was wasted, then. The two victories against the Panthers mean nothing? The Panthers let them win? There’s no chance that this group of PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES might activate, make the playoffs, and do some damage, huh? I’m sorry, but you’re wrong. You win by playing hard and imposing your will. Not by mailing in the remainder of the season to try and draft better the following year. They owe it to the fans(especially the paying fans)who have stuck with them to end this season with a bang.
Swayman gives up a lot of soft goals.. He needs to play a lot better then he is.. They paid more then they should of for him…Bad Choice..
