  1. Marshall University has quality players at every position the Niners need bodies at… And they'll be available in mid to late rounds, and some as UDFAs… Two quality RBs, edge rush, CB, WR, and a helluva FB…

  2. You have to remember that Mason picked up a lot of those yards because of the season that Brock purdy had the year before teams were more geared up to stop purdy than Mason

  3. The 49ers picked Mason as an undrafted free agent and they developed him into a great white back. The message of this trade is they don't care about players developed in house, they value outside free agents a lot more

  4. Hey Nate from my experiences draft swaps picks are chess pieces to package deals to move up with teams who do not have a lot of picks. Take a look at teams in this draft that 7 or less picks and if they have high draft picks you can see where the Niners are going to position those target teams to move up

  5. It says they like Issac Guerendo and hes cheaper..once they brought Jusczyk back Mason was over…they say this draft has a lot of RB prospects..expect them to draft at least one , maybe 2 . Raheim Sanders in later rounds could give them a speedy RB weapon with size ( 6 foot. 230 lbs.) Runs a 4.46. 40

  6. 6 or 7th round because the 9ers seem to find endless amounts of good running backs in the late rounds of the draft, it seems like every year.

  7. Vikings fan here. I couldn’t be happier trading for Mason for basically Ed Ingram (OL more than likely to have been cut). IMO, Mason was better than CMC last year. I thought CMC would have been traded for high value and you all would have rolled with Mason. Great video!

  8. All the players we should draft:
    RB-Raheim Sanders SC
    RB-Brashard Smith SMU
    RB-Jarquez Hunter AUB
    WR-Pat Bryant Illinois
    WR-Ricky White III Unlv
    CB/S-Maxwell Hairston Kentucky
    CB-Caleb Ransaw Tulane
    LB-Francisco Mauigo Mia
    LB-Kain Medrono Ucla

  9. Here's my 2 cents… It could be argued that backup or 2nd string is a very important position for the 49ers, seeing our injury history. I would have kept J. Mason and paid him the money they paid the FB. I don't know how much you can trust or put faith into CMC, considering his age, history, and current injury. If it's one thing we know… we know that KS will burn through a few RBs every season. I understand IG is the backup and maybe he will work out. I'm on the fence about him. JM may not be the heir apparent or RB1, but I certainly did not want to see him traded to conference opponent that is already better than us. 💯✌🏾

  10. Shanahan needs to learn that you don't run your R'Bs into the ground. You need a one-two punch. That way, you will have RB who will wear the defense down not the other way around. They are human, not robots ( yet )Shanahan needs to learn that.

  11. It happens to a lot of good franchises: Get your qb, skilled players, make a run………keep improving on your glaring weakness, until you get over the hump. They couldn't get over the hump with the roster they had, and it was starting to get older and more expensive. You rinse, and then repeat. Other teams, however have never even sniffed the playoffs and keep rebuilding……

I am speculating this, but if the Niners won the Super bowl, they probably were going to do a fire sale anyways, so to speak, but opted to keep the core guys, much of the same team, and make another run. Mental lapses, and injuries derailed their season, along with a very weak d line, and oline, that for the first time in years, helped contribute, in my opinion, to Purdy being injured, missing games, and qbr ratings and int. taking a hit.

    Just my 2 cents.

*At the end of the day, just want to see the core guys of Bosa, Warner, Kittle, Trent Williams, even CMC, Purdy get their rings is all.
