Why Jon Gray’s broken wrist puts Texas Rangers’ rotation on the verge of crisis

The Texas Rangers drafted Jack Leiter with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 MLB draft. This spring Leiter has looked excellent, yet a little erratic. Jon Gray suffered a broken wrist and will miss at least two months. Cody Bradford will miss at least three weeks, leaving two rotation spots open. Kumar Rocker, Leiter’s Vanderbilt teammate is also vying for that spot.

Kumar Rocker and Jack Leiter are vying to make the Rangers’ rotation out of camp and any setback for the entrenched starters could pave the way for the Vandy Boys.

  2. Garabito is another guy id look at who is on the 40. Leiter should be ready to go. Rocker needs to head back to AAA until he gets mechanically sorted imvho. These injuries happen every year. I'd only be surprised if we were healthy.
