  1. Plus the possibility of adding to the space if Bradbury goes and on top of it other trades we could do enough room to sign back up qb plus a few other areas extra tight end and defensive back help maybe a camp kicker or punter how many guys we got toward the possible 90 man rooster

  2. I am very worried that they have 30mil and can get more with a restructure which is what birdbones Aaron rodgers wants for his pay. Will be so pissed if he comes to the vikings. He is an L 7 loser. Thank you sandlot.

  3. Rookie contracts count against cap space too right? And if they are smart they will go into the season with a decent amount of cap space in case of a signing of need

  4. Spotrac’s $30,783,232 (with I.Rodgers, Wilson, Skule and Bolden listed without cap amounts) has for both A.Jones and Murphy, two entries in Top 51 with their future prorations of previous contract’s signing bonus fully accelerated into 2025 which is incorrect. So in net Spotrac overstates their cap hits by a combined $4.6 million. That alone brings space to over $35.4 million. With Bradbury trade/release and $2,782,000 savings a whopping $38.2 million! Subtracting a net rookie pool of $2,381,912 with all picks having minimum salaries out of Top 51 (Spotrac left 1st rounder’s minimum in Top 51 for some reason) and Rodgers’ cap number from OTC of $2,722,500, leaves $33.1 million with only Skule, Wilson and minimum salary guy Bolden (each with $960k offsets) and Hitman’s renegotiation not reflected.

  5. 10 roster holes and how to fill with signings and/or draft (assuming Cam Robinson will garner a 2026 4th or 5th that Vikings will not jeopardize by signing a UFA to a comp-eligible contract):
    QB-2 FA Ryan Tannehill
    RB-3 re-sign Akers and draft
    WR-3 non-comp UFA Rondale Moore
    TE-3 draft and/or Tyler Conklin
    LG-1 re-sign Risner and/or draft
DL-4 draft (possibly re-sign Bullard for depth)
    LB-4 non-comp UFA Jerome Baker or re-sign Grugier-Hill
    EDGE-5 re-sign J.Ward
    S-5 draft
CB-2/3 trade 2026 pick for Greg Newsome (CB-2) or draft CB-2, and/or sign non-comp UFA Jeff Okudah or re-sign Griffin to compete for 3rd-corner job.

  6. Still need CB, Safety, back up QB, WR2. Hopefully we can spend our draft picks on those and actually hit on our picks. Should have kept Bynum, he probably would have stayed for $14, to keep with his team, system he knows… maybe I’m wrong but it seems like we could have kept him.

  7. Anyone that doesn’t want RODGERS are insane. It doesn’t affect McCarthy at all other than the window for his rookie contract to expire but we still have 3 more years with him after this year if we pick up his 5th year option… what’s the chances of winning a superbowl with a QB playing in his first NFL games. If you don’t want Rodgers this year then you don’t want to win the Super Bowl. Just say that
