JALEN MILROE TO BROWNS… COULD IT WORK?

1. Why NOT take Milroe in round 2…given he's got elite size/athleticism and arm characteristics, particularly if they are able to get a guy like Cousins who he can develop under. Worth a shot on that upside….good or bad, why not take that shot? He's also a GREAT kid, smart-and that matters. Milroe was much better last year w/Rees.

3. I hope the Browns get Carter or Hunter and whoever drops in the 2nd… then, move up if needed for Milroe. If Milroe is trash, we play him the whole year and suck. Get a high pick and get our quarterback, and then move Milroe to wide receiver in a Josh Cribs role.

   So we get Hunter or Carter, plus milroe is another weapon.. it's not a bust. Safe with upside, no risk.

   I'd be willing to take shots on Cam Ward, Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe, Dillon Gabriel or Will Howard easily.

13. With Shedeur Sanders likely and the hopeful logical pick at 2 overall, Milroe doesn't have a place on this team. I like the athleticism Milroe offers but he's a work in progress to be an effective QB and unless we draft Hunter at 2 and can't get Sanders later…..there's better value at QB

17. 6'-2", 225 lbs, 4.37s 40, built like a linebacker, got a masters degree in 4 years. The Browns are reverting back to a running game. …. We definitely don't need a Lamar Jackson. We definitely don't need a 2x MVP, perineal division champion and multiple time AFC Championship contender and Super Bowl QB.

    Take either Carter or a hunter at 2, trade 33 to get into teens and draft Milroe. I'd go for Hunter btw.

22. Great dialogue, fellas. I disagree with Jalen Milroe's analysis, though. We've seen some talented football players struggle due to a coaching staff's revolving door, but once things stabilized, they were able to showcase their true potential. I believe Milroe's comparison is closer to Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels. We haven't fully seen it yet, but the potential is there. I'm not talking about the same potential we've seen with other players. The dude screams superstar to me. Some cats got that IT FACTOR, and he's one of them. Remember, Jalen Hurts struggled and was even benched at one point, and I believe Milroe will be a much better player.

    I also disagree that we must wait a few years before he sees the field. I can envision him coming in with a few specific packages and significantly impacting games. When Lamar was coming out in the draft, I passionately advocated for selecting Saquon Barkley at #1 and Lamar at #4, and everyone thought I was crazy. We would be even more dynamic with Hunter and Milroe on the team.

Hey Q Jerry Jeudy ran a 4.45, travis hunter ran 4.27 and Jalen Milroe ran 4.37 in comparison Lamar Jackson ran 4.34 … so if the browns take hunter with the 2nd pick they can move back into the 1st round and take milroe and a running back with their other 3rd round pick …. with that much speed on offense the browns could compete again with the top teams … what do yall think?!

27. I disagree a bit… To me Lamar had instant success because Baltimore built a run first college esque scheme just like we would have to do with Milroe. Only in the last two seasons has Baltimore shifted into a pro passing scheme as Lamar got better each year
