1. I hope fatigue doesnt play a factor in this one. If they come out like they did vs dallas this is an easy 5-2 win

6. Crucial game tonight – who knows when Drai and McD will be back. We need to keep collecting some points to lock in the playoff spot!

7. I don't care about intent. Rantanen should have had a penalty. In almost any other game against any other team, no way the refs don't call either interference or roughing there. But its EDM, and even though they had a whopping 6 power plays, the refs still only called half. Roughing on Walman after the Steel hit (to the head, again) on Pickard after the non-call on Rantanen with a head shot that literally took him out of the game, give me a break. Just goes to show, the officiating doesn't just hate Draisaitl and McDavid, but the whole Oilers organization. Penalty on Rantanen, or the 3 on 5 from the Steel penalty without Walman in the box could very well have been the difference maker in EDM tying up this game or not. Ridiculous.

8. I'm really hoping they blow the doors off this game. Also the oilers need to start fighting people when the opposition touch their goalie. Be physical. Make them scared.

9. This loss is on the coach, hes a tool at times for not playing Pickard and keep relying on Stuart Skinner and way was Jeff Skinner taken off the 1st line he was doing good. To me I don't think this coach is meant to coach the NHL maybe peewee.

10. On another note, since that first comment should have been on the Dallas game reaction, I'm feeling pretty confident in Pickard lately. Honestly, after Skinner was pulled I was sort of relieved, and knew that Pickard wasn't going to let anything by him. Going into Seattle I think EDM is on one of those sneaky heaters again. Yes, defensive break downs and missed saves are an Achilles heel with this team, but overall they outplayed Dallas last night. Not securing the win is salt in the wound, but should galvanize them into something I don't think either Seattle or Calgary are ready to be in front of. I'll reserve Calgary comments for Saturday for the most part, but I will say while I understand they need those points to keep their playoff dreams alive, if the Oil keep playing the way they have been, McDrai or not, they will wreck them.

14. I’m still not over Yesterday’s game, so I can only imagine how the team feels. Hopefully fired up. I really hope Skinner didn’t sustain a season ending injury, because that would just be such a depressing end to his season. I think the community knows the team can lock it down, and if the past couple of games have showed, can outscore their goaltending deficiencies. Just need that Janny Skinner and Brown line to start potting and they’ve got four really strong lines.

    P.S. protect your friggin god damn crease for Pete’s sake lol I’m glad we’re all agreed that we need more of a presence in our own crease

16. This should be another big effort from the Oilers tonight. If they lose this one, they trail LA by 2 pts and that would mean they have 2 games in hand on EDM. A pretty crucial win is needed here to atleast keep pace. Players to watch: Nuge, Jeff Skinner, and Captain Picks. Nuge didn't get on the scoresheet last night but he also did get a goal robbed by a fantastic sprawling save by Otter. I think Jeff could also pot another goal this game, he played phenomenally against the Stars. Captain Picks should be pretty solid this game aswell. Oilers 4-1. I think Pickard could be pretty fired up this game and would take this opportunity to show the team that he's a reliable goalie. Defense should also be tight.

19. I would roll the dice and be just as comfortable if not more with Pickard/Rodrigue 🤷 There's just ZERO chance the goalie with the worst playoff numbers in the cap era ( Skinner ) doesn't cost them , it's just a matter of when but I'll put money on LA in the series if it pays + money .

20. If Pickard's in net we got a chance. The other guy who can't save a beach ball is in net will need 5 goals to win.

21. At this point I'm in favor of resting McDavid and Draisaitl for the playoffs if that's what we're doing. We can drop games or even limp into the playoffs as far as the standings go. As long as we get in I'm not overly worried about home ice. Having our top guys healthy is what we need going forward.
