  1. IMHO, there aren’t many analysts out there that are as knowledgeable and competently analytic as Mina, while being relatively unbiased and not the homer that so many are. Good stuff.

  2. Very pertinent points I think about the draft picks so far – many more solid picks than from a Steve Keim draft, but we need a couple of game wrecking stars, which aren’t apparent on the roster right now, unless a couple of the young guys really emerge.

  3. I see the talent with Kyler, occasional results, but no consistency. There have been guys like Flacco and Bucs QB Dilfer who have won superbowls with great teams and them guiding their offense just enough to win. I believe Kyler is way more capable talent wise than most QBs but maybe isn't strong or tuff enough mentally to fight off adversity to win in NFL down to down and game to game. Pro sports are full of talented guys who couldn't parlay their game to be the bigtime winners. They play to the level of just being a potential guy until their team gives up waiting for that potential to break through. I'm hoping with his best team in front of him this year he can break thru.
