I took this pic from the 3rd deck directly behind home plate at the old Ballpark in Arlington. This was taken May 21, 2013. Darvish had an ok game, but lost, 1-0 against the A's. We used to love these seats. Cost $10 bucks and get a great view. This pic is a crop that I made into a my wallpaper for my phone in 2013.

  6. Top 3 favorite Ranger ever. When Yu was at his best, watching him absolutely dominate hitters was the best show in baseball. I miss him…

  12. I still remember one opening day yu took a no/no to the 9th or was it the 8th but it was nuts like watching a mythical beast walking thru a forest

  13. Anyone remember Chuck Coopersteins dumbass “doesn’t have the will to win” takes every time Darvish lost a game like this? Give up a run in the 8th and lose 2-1 or lose 1-0, it’s his fault for not willing the team to the win. God I hated that idiot for using his platform to push that agenda

  15. How many games did he lose 2-0 or 2-1 when he was with us? Felt like every outing for a stretch there. He was such an incredible pitcher.

  16. Seeing him strike out 14 Arizona batters in 2013 was a spectacular experience. Love Yu Darvish.

  17. Was just thinking about him the other day! Man, the things I’d do to get him back for just one more season. Glad he’s had a pretty successful career since he left Texas (various injuries aside lol)

    I thought I was the funniest person in all of fantasy sports.

  20. I love him so much! One of the players that got me into baseball and becoming a Rangers fan too ❤️I wish he could’ve got a title with us and I’m still hoping he gets a title before he retires

  21. Darvish is the only player, past or present, who I have actively followed and rooted for after they left the Rangers.

  22. There’s just a few things that hurt me as a modern Rangers fan, but not really having a deep playoff run while we had Darvish is up there.

  26. I was at the game in Houston when he lost his perfect game on the 27th batter. It was pretty magical despite the ending.
